Camping World - Sales Manager Review from Hoboken, New Jersey

1.8
Details
I purchased a Keystone 301bq from Camping World Rochester NY in September 2014.At the time of the sale, the salesman and finance rep pushed for the extended service and paint warranty. The total cost being just shy of $6000. I was assured and reassured that if I bought the warranties, and after doing more research on them, did not want them, that they would be cancelled and I would be reimbursed. A few weeks on I requested them cancelled by phone and certified letter. I was then advised by the Finance Manager that the reimbursement would be submitted. Now it's February and I have not received anything. I keep contacting the manager and I get the same answer. "Soon". This is horrible and outright fraudulent sales practice.Hopefully CW will get on board with this and refund the money that I'm due.

Purchased a 2015 voltage at camping world in Las Vegas

The new unit was not ready when promised, rushed thru the inspection, the sound system was not hooked up properly and when we hooked up the trailer brakes did not work. After 2 hours they messed with some wires underneath the unit and the brakes started working. 20 miles away from the shop they quit. I continued driving 60 miles to the camp ground I was staying. When I called camping world about it the wanted me to drive it back to their facility, I would not due to safety concerns. I have been sitting since Jan 11th and it is now Feb 9. After threating a law suit, I think it is resolved to get repaired, but still waiting for a date. I think Keystone has some of the worst reps for service and as soon as you pay and leave camping world hopes you forget any of their responsibility.

Camping World in Needles, California - Electric brakes do not work

Purchased a 3990 Voltage from Camping World in Las Vegas. It took them twice as long to get the unit ready, they hustled us thru, never hooked up the sound system or TV as written in the sales contract. When we hooked up to go the trailer brakes did not work. We spent two hours with them messing around with the brakes. They finally messed with some wires underneath and we had brakes for 20 miles and then none. I continued to Needles, Ca where we are staying. They have found there is a dead short somewhere. They want me to pull it that way and it is not safe, no break away or breaks. We have been here since Jan. 11' and it is now Feb 9 and we are still waiting to get something done. One run aroun after another.

Camping World - Please respond asap. alinecyclesgmail.com

I'm not really pissed, just concerned about American quality. I know how many fracturing works I've dealt with it my whole adult life. Everybody is in a hurry to make the boss money. It would seem like Forest River in the position they are and considering the owner not being pressed for money. Could change things.. I know that in the manufacturing business there should be at least one guy out of the dozens manufacturing slowing down to do his job right parently not on this project on our trailer. Where the pipes come through the under skin of the trailer there was a vague attempt to use spray foam and tape ...a very vague attempt at best. your for my aunt does not allow me to upload pictures so I will just wait on email contact to show you what I am talking about. I would hate to think that a retiring couple bought this trailer at full retail just to have this shoddy workmanship fail them down the road.. Thanks have a great day!

Camping World in Lake Jackson, Texas - Advised what part to by from Katy Tx part and wrong part sent

2.0
Details
Called Camping World at Katy, Texas and discussed thoroughly the need for a 12' propane hose with female cylinder threaded connection on one end and a 1/4" compressions male fitting to fit into the campers regulator. The assured me of a part number and upon arrival it was not what was discussed and given assurance on. Upon trying to return the merchandise, was told since it was placed over the internet that the return cost was the purchaser. Even after explaining the call and assurance, I was still to "blame" because I placed the order over the internet. Basically they will take no responsibility for the actions of their employees. Don't buy internet merchandise from them.

Camping World in Grain Valley, Missouri - Horrible, unprofessional, awful service and representatives

1.0
Details
Went into the the Grain Valley location to see about service for our unit. Typically we go to the Columbia store, which is where we will be going back. Only one person at the service counter. The other girl standing there said "I can't help you, I am new. You will have to wait for Sherry". Okay, we wait, and wait to see the personal in the store playing games on their phones and the "manager" of this area doing the same. As technicians come in, interrupt, leave the area angry and Sherry keeps saying "it will be just a few more minutes. I am the only one working." So we strolled the crammed isles, where they have dirty merchandise lined up against the walls and again NO ONE offered to help. Walked past what looked like a meeting room, to see three men sitting in chairs and two girls in there leaning against the wall laughing and showing the men pictures on their phone. 40 minutes later we were called back to the back so we could be helped to be told it would be at least 3 weeks before our camper could be looked at. "We just had a RV show and have sold new units and they are in first. We are also short a few technicians so we are running a little behind." Not only was this the store we were told why our camper would not be looked at until March, the employees were also discussing the issues with the "corporate office not getting their W-2's to them". Really? This is a multimillion dollar company Marcus!! Is the management that bad at this location, is corporate that bad they cannot get the employees their documents so they are focused on work, and are they really that busy or is it just one big play area for people to come? We left, and with many other individuals we will never go back to the Grain Valley location! What a joke of a business this was.

Camping World - 2015 Keystone Bullet 31Bhpr Review from Labelle, Florida

We bought a brand new 2015 bullet premier 31bhpr travel trailer in November 2014. Nothing but problems ..... Heat doesn't work.... Camping world can't figure out how to fix it.... Now a/c doesn't work and tv antenna fell off the roof because the screws were loose. SAVE YOUR MONEY.... Don't buy from this place or get your unit serviced here...
