In route from Indiana to Dallas Texas Problem with Firth wheel landing gear switch not working Pulled into lot Lot was very congested. Looked to be very busy. Camping world employee George happened to be on the lot moving a travel trailer. When approached asked George if he knew how to address the issue He was very busy, but, took time to answer our questions and offered possible solutions to the problem. On arrival to our next campsite we were able to trouble shoot per George suggestion and were able to correct the problem. Awesome employee. Great customer service !!!!

No camping world for any service!!

Have just dealt with them before, and no confidence in them. If you need work done, go to Ricky's R.V. repair in Pigeon Forge Tn. THEY KNOW WHAT THEY'RE DOING!!!! Never have had a problem they couldn't fix. Awesome staff. You know it's done, and done right!!!!

There has been a complete turnover in management and Everything that was negative before is now a pleasure. Service is backed up because of the hurricane, but that’s understandable. If you need something fixed right away try another camping world for now. If you can wait for it, they won’t let you down in Panama City. Like

Worst experience ever, we had camping world do work on our 2008 cedar creek fifth wheel we took,it to camping world in oct 2018 did not get it back until April .

They were supposed to do a 45 check point on it and work on tip outs. They did nothing to it ,the slide was out of adjustment and you could see outside by the edge of tip out. We were told to just go to Walmart and bye some foam and put it in there. We went ahead and took it home to find out they had done very minimal work if any on it, in fact we didn’t get 5 miles down the road and the tip outs were coming out going down the road. We got home to find they had track grease or something all over the carpet. We contacted them on it took it back and they had it another month, my husband has cancer and he doctors in Rochester mn. We told them we had to have it back by last week in April, they had not even started on it until the day we came to pick it up so we waited all day to get it. We were going down the road and the underbelly and insulation was coming out they had not secured it when they put it back. Please respond there is so much we are unhappy about and need help to get this resolved this was the camping world in fountain Colorado. Sincerely Barb Beek Phone 7193400636 waiting to hear from you

Long story, tried to shorten... We purchased a New 2018 Starcraft Autumn Ridge 339BHTS from CW May 2018. We first used it July 2. The AC caught fire within a few weeks of use. The circut breaker malfunction. The fridge didnt keep cold, the fascia was falling apart, tap lights broke, tank sensors malfunctioned, electric jack stand switch malfunctioned, emergency window started leaking, decals bubbling off, the center island started leaking, we found mold under both dinettes in the slideouts, and behind the walls in both slideouts. The roof had screws protruding through the membrane. We needed a whole new roof. Camping World took our unit in January 19th. The roof repair was supposed to take a week and a half. They got it done in 3 days! It certainly looks like it was done quickly for sure. We have been in contact with Starcraft about all these work orders, and with Camping World. Its been over 5 months that we have had not had access to our camper, as it is still in the shop waiting on more parts, growing more mold, and us still making camper payments for a camper we can't use! Starcraft admitted we shouldn't accept our camper with the terrible roof job that was done by Camping World., and said Camping World should redo it, and Starcraft will not pay for the redo. Both companies have terrible customer service. They could have built a brand new unit in the amount of time they have had ours in the shop. Now what they did fix, they have to redo after finding all the mold behind the walls after their did the initial repairs.

Purchased a 2018 Thor Vegas in June of 2018. After a test drive of approx 5 miles we paid cash for the motorhome. After our first trip found numerous problems,made an appointment for warranty work to be performed. problems fixed after a long wait for Thor to approve the repairs. Stored vehicle for the winter. Took vehicle out for trip in April. While on trip noticed awing was loose from the side of the coach,also several blag bolts had fallen out. Took the coach back to camping world in Salt Lake City. Also had several more simple items to fix(bathroom door,cabinet doors not aligned,sewer hose holder door fell off). Took it in on Monday any was told it would be ready on Wednesday. It was't ready for a week and half later,when I questioned the service advisor and he said he never said it would be ready at that time(I was lying) meanwhile I had to cancel an appointment to have the front aligned. Don't buy Thor or anything from Camping World.

2nd camping world same bad service department.

Bought a used Class A a few years ago and the coach is great but tried to have warranty work done in Camping world of New Hampshire last year with an abysmal failure. Lots of "I'm sorry's " and lies after keeping my coach for a month. So this year I called camping world of Lakeville Ma, to get a tow package installed on my Jeep Grand Cherokee. That was back in March. For several days at various times the phone just rang. I called the 800# and was put through to the same non answered phone. I then spoke to national customer service who emailed the dealership, after I did not get a response from my online request for service who emailed the dealership for me back on April 26th. Still no response. I took it upon myself to do the install, which I am capable of, but did not have the time to do. They are happy to sell you the warranty and are all smiles when spending huge money but the ability to service anything just sucks. I am actually a fairly patient man ( my public jobs require a certain level of this) but this complete lack of customer service has turned me off to Camping World. As an example of my non angry behavior, I found 6 months after purchase that the tires on the coach were out of the date range, I didn't call and demand new tires. I just marked it as a lesson learned and moved forward. I will use a local mechanic for chassis issues and I will YouTube or use a mobile RV mechanic for everything else.
