Camping World in Colorado - On line ordering at a snails pace

Called to track an order placed 5 days ago. After spending 25 minutes on hold I was told that my order has not shipped yet and would not arrive for another 5 to 6 days because they had server issues and are still catching up with order from 10 days ago. When I tried to cancel my order, I was told that this was not possible because my items where already "collected" or "picked" . So I requested expedited shipping as we are leaving on our trip in 4 days. apparently that was not an option either. Unless you have a month to spare I would suggest that you order your camping stuff from Amazon. At least you will have what you need before you leave on vacation.

CAMPING WORLD LAS VEGAS WORST customer service experience ever!! They sold us a total lemon and then refused to fix it. Had to hire an attorney to force them to make repairs. Now we just realized they FRAUDUENTLY sold us a warranty that was supposed to be for the WHOLE COACH but was only for the chassis!! Lawyering up AGAIN and getting the local channel 13 news team involved this time. A big bunch of crooks is all this dealership is. Camping World Corporate needs to drop this store like a hot potatoe because I won't be the last to sue & make it public!!

Any luck with the lawyer aspect yet? I've been considering doing the same with them and Keystone. Poor quality and even worse repairs.

Camping World in Erie, Colorado - *** service

Dear Marcus, Sorry this did not get sent to you, I found it in my draft, now 5 months later we are having more issues with Camping World. OCTOBER 2015; This is our 5th purchase for Camping World RV of Longmont, Colorado (previously K&C RV ). Last year we purchased a 28 ft. BH Jayco, in September of 2013 we took it to Camping world for some warranty work, they had it until the first of May 2014( 8 months) the first trip out of town the Jack did not work and we had to rent a car because we could not get it off our pickup, they did replace the Jack (even the manual did not work), when we took it to Camping World last week to traded it in, that new Jack did not work either, after one trip, we waited about 45 minuets for some one to come help us, and check us in, which is ridiculous, thank goodness we were at Camping World, finally someone showed up and they were able to get it off with a fork lift. Now on to our new Winnebago Class C Aspect, we picked it up last Friday Oct 24, today Oct 28, (4 days later) we are taking it back to Camping World, the backup camera does not work, the speakers out side and inside don't work, one of the slide outs does not extend or retract properly, oh it does, but goes out at an angle, the back compartment door latch is broke, and can't be latched, the shade by the table doesn't work, the brace between the kitchen drawers is broke, they told us we ran the slide out in and broke it, funny thing about that, the guides on the drawers aren't bent, just a few along with numerous other things. I was showing it to our neighbors and their question to me was, "what dose work?" When we took delivery it should have been travel ready, they did not start prepping it for us until we arrived to pick it up, we actually had to wait. MAY 2015: Since I started this email, we have had our coach back at Camping World twice, in Jan/Feb to fix the problems they were suppose to be fixed back in Oct. when we bought it. Thing about when we bought it, we were never told that we had priority, we were told that there were 19 ahead of us. Then again in Jan/Feb. we took it back to be worked on, we took it on a trip and yes in deed they did fix a couple of the problems. While we were away I ended up calling Winnebago and speaking to Jake, who walked me through not having and cable reception in the back TV which we did before, and indeed it didn't worked previously, the unit that runs the DVD, TV, speakers do not work, also the the radio pretty much doesn't work, we have to get with in 10 miles of a tower to use it. We have also had trouble with the levelers and the back latch was never put on/fixed and now the second one has fallen off, we are using a dungy cord to keep the door from popping open. As of today Camping World has had our coach for 4 weeks, and it still isn't finished, we were told this morning that the service man we were dealing with is no longer there, I'm not sure when we will get it back or when we do it will be fixed.

Horrible Experience with the WORST customer service at Greenwood Camping World!

My wife , Daughter and I drove over two hours from home to purchase a camper at Camping world of Greenwood. We found a camper we liked and put a $ 500.00 deposit on it to hold it. On our way home I had a question so I called the saleseman we had dealt with only to learn that the camper we had looked at and the camper we had put a hold on were 2 different units(shady). We drove two hours back the next day and were offered a better deal on a camper with comperable design and decided to purchase it. We then drove home happy and exited for our new camper to be delivered as promise the following week. HOWEVER ! Much to our dismay we learned the following week that the camper we had purchased had damage to the holding tanks and they refused to repair the damage and PROMISED they would make it right. After a week of ignoring us aside from a few dishonest conversations with the Manager after repeated phone calls we made we decided to wash our hands of these crooked ***

Camping World in Charlotte, North Carolina - WORST SERVICE EVER!!!!!

I placed an order online in April. After receiving multiple emails about multiple charges that had been applied to my credit card, I started trying to reconcile my purchase. I found that they have over charged me more than $50 and I'm trying to get a refund. I've been trying to call for 2 days now, at least 15 times, no one can resolve my issue. I've been hung up on three times after holding for 10+ minutes and while waiting on a service person to pick up. It picks up, no one speaks and it hangs up. As I type this, I have called AGAIN and I'm still on hold waiting on someone to pick up. 5 minutes so far...on THIS call. Never again, never....never will I use Camping World EVER again! Horrible service!

Camping World in Spokane, Washington - Customers can't talk to customers. managers hide out in back room and make the workers say no to things that should be yes.

Camping world should be avoided at all costs. Once they talk you into something you do not really want they will not fix the problem. If they would fix problem they would have satisfied customers. If you read the reviews, there are obviously many many many unsatisfied customers. So I will never stop there again, and I will not suggest the store to anyone on my travels throughout the USA. Very bad business in my opinion. Avoid at all cost!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! All they needed to do was exchange for what I wanted. Because it was over 90 days, " We were out of town for the winter" They would not exchange. Manage will not show face and will not pick up phone. What a coward!!!!!!!

Have to say the worst experience we have ever had, Over a week no deal, they have to be the rudest and stupidest people to try and do business with. If you are not willing to be ripped off to the max then run as far from this place as possible. They are to lazy to get off their butts to wait on you and they make you feel like a low life when in deed they probly are in a rent a suit, Several people I know have had the same experience and I wish I would of listened and went else where as it was a big waste of 10 Days. Lesson learned when you read very bad reviews on a place don't waste your time going there as it's more then likely true. You all make New York look very bad so do us all a favor and put your rent a suits in storage and leave New York cause your all a bunch of lazy dumb ***.

I consigned my 5th wheel with camping world. The consignment manager Jack Carstens told me my trailer was worth 17 to 18 thousand. He said he could get me 14500. I agreed. Then he put it up for sale for 24995. When I asked about the huge increase in price he said he has to leave room for the trade in. He asked, you don't want the trade do you? Of course not. You will resale the trade. Probably for a nice profit. Do you think I'm a complete ***? I feel like Camping World and Jack are trying to screw me. I'm picking up my trailer this afternoon and I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau.

Camping World - Recreational Vehicle Review from Kearney, Missouri

We purchased a 5th Wheel from Camping World a month ago. One of the worst experience of our lives. Went to go pick it up, and wasn't clean as they told us it would be. During the walk through, show us how everything worked. The guy didn't have a clue. They tried to reap us off on a 5th Hitch, and had to go through a big mess. Might have been taken advantage of that. We're happy with the 5th wheel, just wish I could have bought it from someone else.

We had similar situation at CW Gulf Breeze,Florida. They tried to bait and switch by sending the credit union a different buyers order with less options but the same price.

They finally reduced the price for the option they were charging -as if they were giving me something. Brittney said our hitch wouldn't work before even trying- long story short it worked. I should have walked and left them with the camper but I didn't have time or energy to go negotiate somewhere else.

And Detailing???

Lol. They only run through a wash and mop the floor.

Finding somewhere else for service. Wish I knew now what I didn't know.
