Camping World in Billerica, Massachusetts - Unresponsive Service Department

Camper was in for warranty work tried to find out what was happening. Their service department does not answer their phone no matter what time you call. You have to leave messages and If you are lucky they may return your call. After several messages over several days they will finally call back. It is extremely frustrating trying to get in touch with them. and this is the normal not the exception. They also act like they are doing you a favor when you do talk to them. At one point I sat in front of the building and called service. The receptionist came back on after many rings of the service departments phone and said they were with customers. I could see the srvice desk and there were no customers there. This has to be the worst service department I have ever dealt with.

Camping World in Conneaut, Ohio - Poor customer service

Ordered a camping highchair for my grandson. Used it one time, and it broke. He was only 6 months old so it wasn't that he was over the weight limit, and he was only in it for like a half hour. When we went to fold it up to put it away, noticed that it was broken. Emailed them, received a reply that their processing system was being upgraded and to contact the later in the week. Have sent them several emails over the past few weeks from different email addresses, no reply. Will never order from them again, never seen a company that did not reply back to the customer.

Just to clarify, estimate was in writing. Also, my complaint is not really price however ATTITUDE.

Mistakes are made. However when the resolution is to attack the customer, that is unacceptable.

Ocala Fla location. Got a quote for tires from this location Came in a week later to order. Sales guy told me it would be another $250. Politely asked to speak to service manger. He came out and had a very bad attitude right from the start. Said quote was too aggressive. Anything I said in conversation, he came back with an attitude that assumed I was an ***. Asked to speak to GM. He basically said he did RV sales and could have cared less. Bottom line, will never do business with camping world again. If you need general RV products, you can buy online cheaper anyway. Marcus Lemon (CEO) may project a customer service attitude however truth is the attitude of store management is quite poor.

No response to my email to Camping World customer service. As indicated Camping World could care less.

Another item, received a marketing letter signed by Marcus Lemon promoting the travel protection plan from the Camping World affiliate Good Sam Club. Stated many things they would do, including flying you home in a medical emergency and having someone drive your RV back at no charge. Curious, I went online and read the policy fine print.

Full of many exceptions.

Camping World - Air Conditioning Repair Review from Woodville, Texas

My motor home has been at camping world Katy since Feb. 13 to repair air conditioning and jack system. They called and said it was ready and we went to pick up on May 22 after a shocking bill we go and get in motor home air still not fixed after them trying to charge 2400. When originally suppose to be around 1500. Received an e mail yesterday and service writer says that the technician still has not got back to her.. This is very unacceptable practice and no one should have to take this.. I would recommend that never take anything to get repaired unless you like trial and error and being without your RV for six months..and plenty of money so they can TRY to fix.

Camping World in Green Bay, Wisconsin - Item never received

May 11 i ordered a propane fire table. The email i received after ordering stated i would see it in 1 to 2 weeks. Just shy of 2 weeks i called to see if delivery would be on time because the website was not working to check my status online. They told me they couldn't see my shipping details at that time because of the change of computer systems they were going through and the suppliers office was not open so they could not check with them either. I waited until June 2nd and tried my call again to see if they could see my order yet. Now we are at 3 weeks and she said she saw the order but it didn't transfer to the new system and they would have to re-order. Now the product is on backorder and it would take another 4-6 weeks. With this info, I canceled my order and purchased a different fire pit table elsewhere. I will never shop with Camping World again and I will tell others to go elsewhere as well.

Its been 7 days and camping world still didnot ship what i had bought from there website.. they did charge me a big shipping rate witch was not fair.. I called them up and they told me to relax . and they also said there is nothing they can do for me.. wow nice .. now what? Im not going to buy anything more from there website or store this is really upsetting.. This is not the way i run my business! I would like a call back from camping world so i know whats going on with my order. I want to go on vacation but i cannot leave without this part. Now Im not sure what to do as the lady on the phone seemed like she could care less about whats going on with my order. wow I think they need to get more helpers at camping world to help out on the online orders .

Camping World Waconda. Don't go anywhere else!

Went in with an advertised camper at a great price, and they actually had it. Joey showed it to us and went over all the features. New to camping he answered all our questions, and we signed on it. We then met Mike P. the finance guy who answered all our questions and showed us all options for financing. This guy is a superstar! We came back and did our walk thru with Missy, another superstar who answered all questions and gave us tips and tricks to make our camper more fun. In the rain and cold wind it did not matter, she was there for us and wanted to share her knowledge. We also met Kevin in service who took as much time as we needed to help us understand what we needed to do down the road. this guy is a Rockstar. As we left we met Linda at the registrar who guided us with advise on purchases we were making. Guess what? Most expensive is not what she pushes. She advises you on buying what worked the best. She got this information buy being a camper herself, and sharing her knowledge. This is customer service at its finest. So looking to buy, get advice, or just have questions, here are the names above on who to see in Wauconda, Il. Joey, Mike, Missy, Kevin, and Linda. This team gives you the experience, knowledge, and customer satisfaction you are looking for. Buy the way, tell them Andy says Hi!

Electric Outlet Installation Review

I have a new RV. I had CW install a second dash outlet. When I later tried the outlet it didn't work, and the factory outlet had been shorted out too. (It was working fine before CW) They charged me $80 for a new outlet. When I complained the only solution they offered was to remove the outlets altogether. The customer service person, Brian, was a real ***.

took my rv in for a quote to get fixed, little damage nothing major. took seven weeks to get a estimate. going on nine weeks no trailer yet. excuse after excuse. they lie to you to no end! They deceive you like your a piece of ***! cant get anywhere with them. Talk to the main store manager Craig Carpenter. He said he would have the Manager of service call me the little piece of *** had a counter guy call me and lie to me again. Had to cancel my memorial weekend campout because of them which has to be reserved nine months ahead of time at a campground in NY state but they couldnt care less. Now i have a Father's Day weekend coming up with family lets see if it is done, i dont it! PLEASE dont ever go there! almost time to get a lawyer!
