Camping World in Phoenix, Arizona - Just don't care

I tried calling your Oakwood, GA store to get information on a 2012 Itasca Elipse 42QD in Oakwood, GA 30566 Stock #: ORV1215822 Calling the number on the listing (866) 266-9584 and calling the number on one of the 300 email Justin Downing has sent me 888.469.6599 results in a 1980's style automated attendant. I never got an answer when I selected RV Sales. I finally got a parts person to answer the phone. I asked her 4 times for the general managers cell phone and was promised a real person; only to be transferred to "Rob" who was more interested in trying to get me contact number than helping me. This is how this company expects to sell 200K RV's? A freaking customer service nightmare.

Camping World in San Francisco, California - Non-existent customer service

I placed an order for some rv parts.I received a confirmation e-mail that they received the order. Two weeks later I had no parts,I inquired as to where the parts are.I should note that customers spend an average 10 minutes on hold to speak with a service rep.Service rep.said system had a problem he would call back in 15-20 minutes.he never called.2 days later and 10 more minutes on hold I cancelled my order.3 days later the order arrived,I have now tried on two occasions to get a return number,10 minutes on hold each time, they told me on Saturday I would have to wait for someone to call me back on Monday,It is now Tuesday afternoon,no one has called and when I call their Customer Service number I get a prompt that the number is disconnected.WTF is next?

Camping World in Essex, Maryland - Don't buy from online store!!!!!

Details
Very nonprofessional company. Ordered item on line 7 days later still shows "processing" when checking status. 1. Called to speak with customer service; got run around excuses for delay, not to mention 45 min hold. Found out it is because they have been having system issues since May so no doubt many customers are wondering where their orders are 2. Sent email; even worse than the customer service dept. They send ANOTHER confirmation of receiving my order. No explanation at all to reason for order not being shipped. 3. Called local store; great customer service and truthful. I do appreciate the fact that they gave me the information as what the issue is and agreed that the company should be more informative with their customers. Come to find out even the stores are not getting their orders let alone, no information as to when there shipments will arrive. Now I am left without the item I need for camping. Way to go Camping World; you really need to learn how customer service works!

I don't think I've ever seen any worse customer service... If I ever get my order which I can can find nothing about I'll never order again from Camping World.

So far I am highly UNimpressed with this company. Placed an order on 5/27 and it showed as processing up until yesterday - I emailed customer service early last week and have yet to receive any response - and today I received a huge box (UPS delivery) that contained about half of the items I ordered (all of these items fit into a small grocery bag, not sure why the huge box was used) but when I went online to check the status of the other half of my order it says that they were all delivered today.

I have been on hold now for more than 20 minutes trying to locate the rest of my order.

This is my first and last order with campingworld.com.

Camping World in Madison, Mississippi - Never met a salesperson as rude

1.0
Details
Went in Camping World's new location in Jackson MS and had the displeasure of meeting maybe the rudest salesperson I've ever come across in my lifetime. He was rude from the second we met. We wanted to look around but first he had to have my name, phone number etc. I guess I understand that but he seemed mad at us immediately. My wife said we really just wanted to look at campers on our own but he wouldn't allow that. Said he couldn't allow people to just walk around un escorted on the lot. That is a really strange policy if in fact it even is their policy. The other three dealers we went to allowed it. I got the impression that he was the either the manager or someone from corporate that was there to get the business running because he said he had been busy trying to get their business license or something and that they had only been open for a few weeks . I told him my truck would only pull 7000 lbs and I was not interested in looking at anything heavier. He took me to a 7500 pound camper and then got mad when I said it was too heavy. I accidentally stepped on his foot exiting the camper and he yelled "g$d@mmit, sh%t!" I don't even like writing those words and can't believe he yelled it in front of my wife. We promptly left and don't ever plan to return. I will be buying a camper in the next couple of weeks but not from this place.

I am the salesman that you stepped on my foot when you jumped off the stairs and I accidentally said sh%t! but nothing else and not what your exaggerating I said.

I apologize. I have never said the Lords name in vain. I knew what weight you requested and was unsure of it until we walked out there. I quickly let you know it was heavier than you wanted when you jumped off the step onto my foot.

You never even said I'm sorry but started yelling that you had told me the weight you were looking for and that you were already mad at me already for asking you questions about what you were looking for. I said the weight is not on my inventory sheet. I apologize for the policy to sit down and find out what your looking for first so you don't have to walk a hot black top with 250 units on it. They are all new and we are still learning the inventory.

More have rolled in that are the weight that your looking for and Camping World is selling them for very close to their cost. You don't have to worry about running into me because I got fired over me letting the word sh%t!

slip out when you stepped very hard on my foot. I hope your satisfied and may God bless you.

Camping World - Keystone Sprinter Review from Saint Augustine, Florida

Last year, we took out our Sprinter and in the fron sleeping area where the hose connection comes in, the floor was wet. It remained wet throughout our camping trip. We took it in only to be told it was the seal on the window above where the rain water accumulated over the past year and the were going to fix that. They also kept our power cord. We did not go camping again until this weekend and the same problem showed up. I wonder what their reason will be this time.

Camping World in Clearwater, Florida - Worst customer service ever

1.0
Details
We purchased a new 40' diesel motor home from Tampa Camping World only because the price was right. We could have bought it from a close neighbor for 2000.00 more, but wanted to save the money. Let me say, I wish I had spent the 2000.00 and hopefully not have the headaches that we have had with this place. I honestly cannot say one thing positive about any division within this company. The list of problems are way to long to list here, but basically their lack of customer service and not wanting to take care if the customer sums it up.

Camping World - Review in Dealers category from Lincoln, California

Camping wold on line is the worst on line experience I have ever had.I received order confirmation and no other communication for two weeks.I spent over 10 minutes on hold twice to try and ck status of the order. They said they would call me back and never did. They did not return my E-mail inquiries.I finally called again[10 minutes on hold]and cancelled my order. The order arrived 3 days later. Now I have called twice[10 minutes on hold]to try and get a return label. This is so far beyond rediculous.Pissed does not do this justice,as I sit here on hold again.

Camping World in Tallahassee, Florida - Good Sam extended warranty sucks

Black water tank broke loose and almost fell out of RV. took it to Tallahassee, FL Camping World for repair. Extended warranty says black water tank replacement or repair is covered. Camping World finally looked at it after a week(another complaint)and found that a bracket bolted to the frame holding the tank in had bolts broken and let the tank drop. Good Sam extended warranty does not cover the four little bolts that broke and any other repair is not covered because any damage caused by the bolts breaking is "consequential damage" and is not covered. Don't get Good Sam extended warranty insurance!

Camping World - Winnebago Rv Review from Phoenix, Arizona

I made an appointment to get warranty work done on a brand new Winnebago RV I purchased from somewhere else. They didn't even look at the problem after waiting for a week and told me to call back on the following Monday. I was asked by the service department if I purchased the RV from the Las Vegas store, when I dropped it off and of course I told them "no" that shouldn't matter right? Well earlier in the year, while shopping for the RV I was told by a salesperson how they give priority to people who purchase RV's from them. He said you could wait months to get your RV back from them, even for something simple. That is terribble customer service. Needless to say I called Winnebago and they told me to take it somewhere else. I also will never give Camping World my business again. Beware of the Las Vegas service department if you didn't buy your Winnebago there take it to Findlay RV instead.
