I bought a 2013 Crossroads Zinger (4700 dry weight) from Buffalo CW dealer. I've driven it to VA and back and to AL and back and some shorter trips to Pennsylvania. I live in NY. I'm being told that they should never have released it knowing I don't have a brake controller in my 2011 RAM 1500. People are amazed my brakes aren't completely shot. The salesman also lied about the length of the trailer. I wanted something less that 28 feet. He told me it was 27. It's actually 34. Camping World is a rip off. Big company. Why lie to people?

Camping World in Bend, Oregon - Charged me for a free item

I purchased a surge protector for my RV. Their website said it included a free locking hasp. It wasn't even something I could opt out of, they simply send it with the surge protector. Waited for ever for delivery, but that's beside the point. A couple of week after I received it, I realized they had charged me $24.99 for the free item. On May 4th (in an email) they acknowledged the mistake and said they would process a credit that day. On June 19th, I checked with my credit card company, the credit had never been processed. I put in a dispute. Terrible, terrible, terrible company. I will NEVER do business with them again.

Camping world sold us 2011 Elkridge Dec.2014 Looked like it had never been used. Said was checked by service dept at the Portland Camping World and ready to go. Picked up in late Jan headed 1000 miles to Buckey Az. blew tire. Found all four tires bad as must have sat for long time. Reported to Camping world and paid for one tire refused to pay for others as they were under 7 years old. Returning asked for their free service check. During this they found not only bad tires but bad bearings, broken roof vent open seals, and more. Obvious these were never checked and sold a dangerous vehicle to us. Refused to fix so we are stuck. Term Let Buyer Beware sure fits Camping World

Camping World in Bessemer, Alabama - Totally unprofessional!

My family was interested in buying a particular RV at Calera Camping World Wednesday, June 17 2:15 PM. When we arrived the "receptionists" on the right of the entrance did not offer to assist in any way. When we left due to absolutely no one offering to show us the rv the same receptionist area now had a young man sitting with a female associate. He pulled his hat down over his face (no kidding) and then began talking to the female associate about us when we approached them for help. She looked at us and turned her head. This place is a joke!

Camping World - Rv Repair Review from Dumfries, Virginia

After making an initial appointment SEVEN weeks ago to get some repairs done on our RV, we are back in the service department today for the 3rd time. Since we are full time RVers this has been extremely disrupting to our lives. After being told all the parts were in twice (which they were not) we made a second attempt at contacting a manager. Our initial voicemail message was not returned. Yesterday, Bill the service manager finally spoke with us. He assured us once again that all the parts were in and we made an appointment for 8:00am today June 18th to get everything done on the list once and for all. We arrived at 7:50am and we were told the manager would be right with us. After waiting for 45 minutes, we told the desk technician to have him call us as we had another appointment. He was expecting us yet failed to meet our appointment time. Our top priorities were relayed air conditioning and a seal around one of the slides. We were assured these things would be taken care of first and quickly. 7 weeks later the thermostat for the ac and the seal are still not in place. The massive amounts of heavy rains during all of this delay for 7 weeks has caused our floor to be soaked repeatedly! Who will pay for those repairs? We will see if anything will be rectified.

Continuation From above At 1:00 pm went back to Campingworld to speak to Bill the service department manager since he neither showed up for the 8 am appointment nor returned our call. We're told he would be with us in 10 minutes.

After waiting another 45 minutes we demanded to speak with him.

We were then told he left the building and were referred to another department manager who said he would look into our complaint. Hadn't even been looked at yet nor did they even order all the parts much less have them RUN away from Campingworld is my advice.

Camping World in Jacksonville, Florida - I guess my service was typical

I'm refurbing an older TT, as I discover what needs to fixed, I am ordering parts and pieces. Placed order via internet, received robo email acknowledgement of order, and I would receive an update on my order as it progressed. Never got another email, waited 5 business days to email CW, no response. 7 business days called, 1st call, was on hold 29 mins. 2nd call on hold 35 mins, gave up. I get an email, one item back ordered, ok, what's the status of the rest of the order, you going to hold it until the b/o piece comes in? No response. Fed up, sent repeated emails to cancel total order, response, thank you for signing up for our email list. ?????? Order showed up today (2 days after I canceled all) minus the b/o item. I will NEVER deal with these yos again. I have placed 2 orders with other another supplier, 3 business days max from order to having it in hand. Guess who will get all business from now on. Camping World - Mr no guts Marcus Lemonis

You received a very strong letter and handed it to your lying flunkies. The Valencia ca store repaired damage to my mot. orhome in the amount of $ 6200 plus. They had it off and on for several months last year. They painted the portion the wrong color ,damaged my floor,drank my scotch and stole my vodka. The biggest thang they forgot to attach the locking pen that holds the tow bar in place causing it to come loose on the freeway in Hesperia. Your lying staff told me it was my fault for not checking the tow bar locking pen.stated I lying about what happened . But said they would fix the floor bot I had to find the repair person.

My brother n law bought a new Coleman pull behind 2 years ago. And bought an extended warranty we'll now it's floor and wall is rotted out. He used it 3 times and they want fix it. Bought it north of mobile al. What good is a warranty if you have to pay 4500 plus 2000 extra for the *** warranty we will never buy anything from them again I don't give a *** if it's free. I drive tour busses for country music artist we go there no more I will pass the word around the bus companies not to buy from them again.... Camping world is dead wrong said it was leaking from the seams it was his job to check them every month or so. Heck he barley can walk let alone crawl on top and they told him the extended warranty would cover anything yea right

Ordered an item that showed in stock but after 5 days it still showed as "Processong Prder." After callling I was informed it was due to their new computer system. Customer Service said it would be 10 -14 days before it shipped. They sure charge your credit card fast enough to but can't get merchandise out the door? I cancelled order and now I got a notice informing me they have issued a credit for $15.00 of the 132.00 order. I have no idea what is going on but they better refund the total amount. Steer clear of CampingWorld.....

After 2 weeks my order status is still "packing". I have tried calling Customer "Service" but after 4 tries with holds over 30 minutes each time I gave up.

I emailed Customer "Service" twice and have not received a response. I will never never order anything from this Co.

again.

Camping World in Anderson, Indiana - Online order not received. No response from customer service except I'm Sorry

I placed an order on 06/08/15. I checked the status several times and the status seemed to be stuck on In Process. I called customer service on 06/16/2015 which the only service that could be offered was to say I'm sorry over and over. After reading the reviews I see I'm not the only one with this problem. When ordering from the web site it indicated that all items were in stock and ready to ship. SOUNDS LIKE FRAUD TO ME. The bad part is I'm only 20 minutes from a store and had I know in advance I would have gone there.
