Camping World in Seattle, Washington - Ordered lights 3wks later still not shipped

I ordered lights from camping world for my RV on 6/2/15 today is 6/23/15 and they are still processing. I contacted Camping world on Friday 6/19 and was told they would ship for sure Monday 6/21 they are still processing today 6/23. My first call to camping world Friday the 19th resulted in a 29min hold time and a gentlemen who assured me the lights would ship Monday. Today I was on hold the first time 42min, I hung up and called the complaint line and have now been on hold 37:02. I am trying to cancel my order with camping world as I have re ordered the lights through Amazon for $2 cheaper and they will arrive in 2days free of shipping I might add. Trust Me--Buy your Travel Trailer from LazyDays or any other dealer. You will regret your purchase the minute you sign the dotted line if you purchase from the most unprofessional, poorly run company with NO customer service or respect from even the highest supervisors of the company. We had contact with all upper-level management over the last year +. Don't think for a minute that you will hear from the CEO or that he or his "crew" care that you invested your money and hours of time. They lie and cheat. They do not correct issues with their products, they blame each other and will keep your unit for months. They cause additional damage and act like it's common practice. This is the worst R.V. buying experience we have ever shared--( owned 5). As a 2 teacher family, I assure you, we are honest and hard-working individuals. Please take this review seriously. You will be disappointed and disgusted if you purchase from any Camping World--especially in Dover Fl.

I wish i had researched Camping World before my purchase!!! I was happy with the initial purchase but the minute i needed service the nightmares began.

Had my coach for a week and needed warranty work for leaking slide and windshield. We are going on 2 month of it in their shop and cannot seem to get an answer as to when i can expect it to be done. I followup each week and am getting the same stories, waiting on approval( Untrue as i have called the manufacturer) , we are waiting on parts (also untrue as the manufacturer will tell you when parts have been ordered).

This is the worst customer service i have received in 49 years of life. Stay away from Camping World!!!

I have been going there for a while now and only experienced great service , several times they have gone above and beyond , I can only think you must be a winer or not pleas able !

It's been 28 days then I finally called customer service to see what going on with my order. The service rep said it has not been shipped ,mean time I waited on the phone 29 minutes, I could not believe that I waited that long an it has not been shipped they suck since good Sam took over it has not been the same.i could go to the store a got the item I wanted faster then they would ship it very dissatisfied with them. Specially Customer service if I did not call they would have forgot, they need to hire more people to run the company better

Camping World in Waldorf, Maryland - SUCKS!!! Very unprofessional

I ordered a part, and have gone through the same run around as the rest of you. over two and a half hours on hold over a three-day period, was hung up on when once some one finally answered the phone. I have been charged but have received no notification of conformation. Three weeks later and still no part, no conformation, no returned e-mails and no answered phone calls. these people are unprofessional at the least and more likely crooks. need one hundred words so here we go, sucks sucks sucks sucks sucks sucks sucks sucks, and last but not least, never again!

Camping World in Valdosta, Georgia - 6 weeks for a 45 point inspection!!

Took in for yearly check up and to buy a tow dolly. 6 weeks later $6000 and still didn't get it right. Didn't even have tow dolly put together after 6 weeks then forgot to wire it. They have had to come up 3 times to fix their mess ups. Left motor home with grease all over light switches and we don't even know if they did the 45 point inspection. Lost our 30 amp cord. Would never go back to camping world in Valdosta GA. Joel Willis just left here and he is the only good thing at camping world.

Camping World in Elmira, New York - Worst Customer Service Ever!

Ordered a Fantastic Vent vent cover online Camping World. The web page said the item was in stock and ready to ship! A week later, it did has not showed up on the "order status" system. Called Camping World Customer "Service", was on hold for 21 minutes. Finally a rep answered, she was unpleasant immediately. She said that the item was in stock, but that that warehouse is very busy! Are you kidding me? She said that there was no order status when I checked, because it had not shipped. She said that she would "send an email" to the warehouse and instruct them to ship it. Seems like the warehouse would not have to be told to ship an order! I only ordered from them because it was "in stock and ready to ship"! Coincidentally, their local service is as bad as the online service. Folks in our RV park have had CW coaches for years, and have been unable to get satisfactory service. I will never again order anything from Camping World, or purchase from the store.

I ordered a simple roll of butyl tape on May 17th. It is on back order.

every day I get an email from "donotreply@campingworld.com" saying my order is on back order. I tried to call customer service; was on hold for over 20 minutes and gave up. Twice.

I emailed their customer hot line, asking to cancel the order and credit my account.

No response.

I'm sick of daily emails and no results. I've purchased several items on line from Camping World and had no other issues but am done buying from them now.

Just like all the other complaints, I ordered a sleeping system online from Camping World 2 weeks ago and never got an order confirmation, have not received my order, but they have charged my credit card for the merchandise. After being on hold for 25 minutes and going through 20 notifications someone would be with me, I finally spoke to customer service and she tells me they are having problems with their web system communicating with their warehouse and that my order was on back order.

She said a shipment had arrived but it would take several days to inventory the items after receipt and them they would ship them out in the order they were processed. She could not tell me where my order was in the priority or when I would get my order. I am not sure but I believe someone should file a complaint with the SEC because they are charging people for merchandise before they are shipping it and since they do not know the status of when I will get my item, that could be borderline fraud. I don't know how Good Sams Club can continue to be associated with Campers World.

I will not join Good Sams Club nor will I ever shop at Campers World.

Every time I go to their store in Pooler, Ga., they never have advertised items in stock. Sounds like they need to be investigated.

Make Sure You Know what RV Prep Includes at Camping World of Nashville

this is my first RV. It'll definitely be my last from Camping World of Nashville. In my mind, when I paid the preparation fee, I expected the Trailer to have a complete walk-thru that included checking ALL systems before I took possession. That obviously wasn't what Camping World of Nashville had in mind. After taking delivery and getting it home, I quickly found several items that clearly should've been taken care of the Prep I PAID for: 1. Front door dead-bolt doesn't latch 2. Outdoor kitchen door lock doesn't latch 3. Outdoor shower head seal is messed up and sprays wildly 4. DVD Player was wired incorrectly - White and Yellow reversed. I had to take it apart to fix it 5. Outdoor light over main door doesn't work 6. Bike rack is jammed and won't extend For some reason, Camping World of Nashville thinks these are warranty items and that I should return the RV for repair. In my mind, Warranty items are things that break AFTER you take delivery. It took weeks just to get someone to respond to my issues. While they think their offer to pick up my RV and perform Warranty work on it is generous, it is very inconvenient for me. I'm using it. I suggested they send someone to make repairs they should have made during prep (that I PAID for). When that was impossible, I suggested they refund the Prep fee that was obviously wasted and send me a couple of the parts for me to perform the repairs myself. They're not budging. Bottom-line... Make sure you know what you are getting for your Prep fee!

Camping World - Motorhome Review from Pensacola, Florida

We saw a sale for a motorhome for a new motirhome advertised a Fleetwood storm for 74,995 / $445 mo. With 10 percent down. We brought our motorhome and they offered 48000 for trade in. We owned 45000 so we offered 13000 down and they take our motorhome and pay it off. Well their finance dept. Wanted us to. Pay 20000.00 down and finance 104000.00 for 20 years at 750.00 a month. This is bait and switch and illegal business practices not counting the fact i would have been paying for the new motorhome but what was owned on the trade in i would be paying for that also. Bottom line i would have paid 142000.00 dollars and given the old one to them to make another 50000.00 off the deal. Alabama states atternoy office needs to investigate these people.

I submitted an online order & tried to cancel it the very next morning, less than 12 hours later. I had viewed an item but didn't add it to my cart, also before checkout it didn't appear & I wasn't given a confirmation #...just that my order would be delivered via UPS in 7-10 days. I rec'd a confirmation email with the item I only viewed included & was told my order would be delivered within 4-6 WEEKS! I immediately sent an email stating the problems with the order, no response. Tried calling, on hold far too long so I went to bed & started again the next morning. After 40 mins & two rude customer reps later I got my issue resolved, I thought. The next day I checked the balance of my credit card & found CW had not credited my account but charged it SIX times! It has been eight days, six reps & countless hours on the phone now. The order was cancelled on the 3rd day & five of the six charges have been credited...I've been told so many "stories" it's ridiculous! The worst customer service I've ever encountered!!
