Camping World in Tarpon Springs, Florida - Don't stand behind their products.

Bought a brand new Forest River Sandpiper 35ROK 5th wheel. When we had the walk through, we were showed how some of the things worked. We took the trailer home and when we started to go through the trailer more thoroughly, we found several things weren't right. The antenna was not secured properly, the ceiling fan in living room did not work, trim around front door was partly in the doorway, trim in bathroom has staples sticking out of it, the outside roof had about 100 bubbles on it. They told us to bring the trailer back and they would correct things. We bought this trailer on May 23 which is 5 weeks ago and have made a $7,500 deposit and made one payment on it and have not been able to use it. They keep telling us they are waiting for the parts from Forest River. I would never buy from Camping World again and recommend the same to other buyers!

I seen a unit i liked, when i contacted them about the unit, they were reluctant to give me a price, so when they finally did, it was was no deal at all, the list price was $14,060 and this price was marked out so after they quoted me a price higher than this i called them on it and he said if i could send him the link showing this price he would make good on it, when i went back to the link he had changed the price from $14,060 to well over $18,000 such dishonesty makes me sick!!!

Camping World in West Tehama County, California - Camper tipped up on end while we were inside

Be very careful with this place. My husband and I were looking at a small camper with a fold out bed. We were unaware that the support jacks were not put down. The trailer tipped on it's end injuring both my husband and I. We then had to walk to the front of the trailer to make the tongue go back down and hit hard again. Drove by the other day and the same trailer we were looking at was out front on display with none of the jacks down again. Would think that they would learn from their mistakes. Would think it would be required on trailers that small that have a possibility of tipping.

Camping World - POOR UNORGANIZED CUSTOMER SERVICE

Ordered online a mattress that was on sale. No where in the product description did it state that the item would be shipped from manufacturer. Got email confirmation, did not notice that it stated 6 to 7 weeks for delivery. Called customer service 10 days later to check status of delivery. Put on hold for 39 minutes! Customer service rep told me that it was drop ship order from manufacturer and it could be weeks before it ships. I asked for a refund, rep said she could not do that. asked to speak to supervisor. finally got a supervisor who said she could not process a refund without checking with the manufacturer. story gets really long. short version: she said she would call me the following Monday after speaking the manufacturer. Never got a call back. Two weeks later the item was delivered, two of them, not one, two of them! Only wanted one! Of course I was concerned that they may have charged me twice for the item ($289), but could not find a charge for even one! I tried calling customer service back to inform them of their error. Could not get through! Placed on hold once and no return! Finally got a rep who could not find my order, and she asked me to call back again. I give up. If they want the duplicate item sent back to them they will have to contact me now. I will carefully review my card statements to make sure they do not try to bill me for two, and if they do I will dispute the item with my bank, who will reverse the charges. If necessary I will have my card number changed. I will never shop with them or visit one of their stores!

I have called their customer service two times now and both times over a twenty minute wait, and they can't even give me a status on my mattress order, they have billed my credit card though, if I ever get through to them this will be my last purchase from them encluding a new trailer I was going to buy...

Camping World in Delphos, Ohio - Very Slow shipping, don't answer the phone or emails. I am a business owner and if you want to stay in business you have to put customer first!

I ordered last year and had good results. This year same items ordered. Took 2 weeks to get part of the order. Other part back ordered. Did get half of the set yesterday. Can not get ahold of them to get this fixed. They do not answer the phone or emails. These locks to be keyed alike and they sent me one lock? No way they will be keyed alike by sending one at a time. This will have to go back and hopefully get a refund or my item I ordered. This company will not be around long doing business like this!

New 2015 keystone Springdale SG 311 air conditioner not cooling/ freezing up/ getting run around from customer service/ purchased with a broken cabinet was assured that would be fixed ASAP it's been its been 70 days and still don't have the parts. It has been a disappointment and will think twice before I buy another camper from camping world and I will not buy another Springdale - we've have shower leak, awning leak, kitchen counter coming loose. This is our third trip and after each trip it goes back to shop, last time we were assured air was fixed , it was just dirty and needed to be cleaned" well we're in Florida and miserable, my husband is out looking for portable air conditioner now. We'll see what happens next week.

Issue still not resolved. Camper has been in shop for five weeks - this is camping world of olive branch Mississippi.

I posted complaint from campsite in Alabama.

Called 3 times yesterday and left messages, no return calls!, customer service sucks!!! Stay away

Camping World in New Braunfels, Texas - Robbing the unsuspecting

I had a leaky slideout seal. Went to camping world and ordered it. It came in 2 weeks, not to bad. Being unfamiliar with how to install, I asked for a quote to see if I would have them do the installation or do it my self. The Service manager quoted me 4 hours at $125 per hour. I obviously decided to do it myself. With an old step ladder, I replaced the seal in one hour by myself without having a clue going in how to do it. If you go there not understand the requirements for different services, buyer beware!

Camping World - Long hold times - POOR Customer Service

The order we placed was in "processing" status forEVER! When we tried to call (a total of 3 times), we couldn't get through as there was an auto attendant telling me how important our business was to them, to please hold, but they never answered the phone!! My husband finally used his speaker phone at work, continued working - - it took 50 minutes to pick up the call and talk with him. He ultimately canceled the order. That's ridiculous! We will NEVER, EVER use them or order from them again. I would rather pay a higher price and be treated as a valued customer. Thanks, Ellen

I was on hold the second time for 28 minutes, 25 minutes the first time, when she answered I asked so does the phone not ring until the customer is n hold for at least 20 minutes, she said your lucky I have 87 people on hold currently, wow and to top it off she thought it was funny...you decide..
