Picked up 2016 rv camping world ohio very poor was dirty inside had a walk through that was a waste of time was told to read the manual if she didnt know the answer now we have a steering issue and VERY rough ride hard to get any answers. It is now in the ford garage. We r getting the run around forest river is blaming ford and ford said it is forest rivers problem. Camping world told us to bring it in but probably wouldnt get to it for a month or so we have had rvs for 40 years never had such poor service

I have read more bad reviews than good and glad I did. We were thinking about buying a camper from this Camping World and after reading the reviews, we won't be buying anything from them.

It's a shame that a company has such bad reviews and no one does anything to make it better. The owner may want to consider hiring more qualified employees and teach them about customer service.

Word of mouth is Great advertisement. I feel so sorry for these people who have to deal with this kind of service.

Ordered a king quest sat. antenna on may 25. The web site said it was in stock and ready to ship. Aweek later i called and was told it would be 14 working day. On June 12 i called to cancel my order since the web site said it was still pending. On june 30 camping world withdrew $504 from my account. The price of the item. I called again and they said it was a computer error and it would be 7-10 days to get my money back. What if i only had $400 in bank and had several items come in. They could care less. #notocampingworld.

Ordered a portable refrigerator/ freezer but was told it was back ordered. We would be traveling before it would arrive so we called camping world customer service to cancel the order. It has been 3 weeks and no refund. We have called and submitted a request on line 3 times and no results. It only took seconds to order and take my credit card payment but a month or more for a refund. The web site has continually stated they are going through problems and I believe they need adult supervision. Where is the quality control and who is responsible for such poor service. Marcus needs to reevaluate his level of management skills.

Camping World - 2015 Forest River Flagstaff Classic Super Lite Review from Platte City, Missouri

I live in my new 2015 Flagstaff Super Lite 5th Wheel. Several small items needed addressed after my first trip.It took me two weeks just to get an appointment.There were 4 items needed to be ordered covered by my warranty. The service person( Joe) at Camping World in Grain Valley Missouri could tell me it would take two weeks to get apart,but could not tell me when the other parts might come in when I asked,but said they were months out to make repairs.Being new to owning an RV and living in it this was very upsetting.As we all can see from this site that is a lot of complaints.I hear lots of complaints re the service department at this particular Camping World.I am an Disabled Veteran and this is my home.Is this really going on this will not be a win,win for me or Camping World.Oh,I don't believe in suing by the way,but this is UNACCEPTIBLE to me. Camping World in Redding, California - Terrible customer service

We dropped off our RV at the Redding Camping World on a Friday to have a traveler satellite installed. When we dropped it off our back up camera was working fine, we're travelling and have been using it for about 4 weeks. When I got the RV back the camera no longer worked at all!!!! It worked just fine when I handed them the keys because I was using it!!! I was told by the service dept. that they were closing and I would have to return the next morning or go somewhere else. We decided to stay over night, returned the next morning. They looked at it and we were told its our responsibility and we would have to buy a new one. It's our problem even though they shorted out the RV when they installed the new satellite. Obviously there was a problem with the install. The service dept. front desk person was rude the entire time!! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE FOR SERVICE!! READ THE OTHER REVIEWS!!

Camping World - Extended Warranty Review from Hunters Creek, Florida

Deceitful sales tactics. Lying about work orders that would be completed Mission statement is a company fantasy. CEO does not respond to complaints but says "100% customer satisfaction is my goal" Service Department grossly overcharges for service. Do not purchase the extended warranty. Camping World in South Elgin, Illinois - Bad Service, responsiveness and warranty support!

I purchased a Thor motorcoach on May 29th from your team and it has turned out to be one of the worst purchasing decisions of my life. I truly regret my decision. We took one trip after buying the RV and: Found ourselves and our dog trapped in the unit due to a malfunctioning dead bolt lock on the door. Escaping through the emergency exit window in the back would have been dangerous. After disappointing and frustration attempts for support on an early Friday evening from your service team and the road side assistance we purchased as part of the sale I finally had to disassemble the door latch from the inside. Including drilling out rivets so we could escape. I was able to reassemble the latch but not the lock. We spent the weekend in the RV without the security of a locked door. Combine that with a bedroom slide window that was stuck open and would not close, a problem with the fan on the AC unit, a bathroom door that would not stay closed during transit, a blown fuse in one of the TVs, a radio unable to receive radio stations and a fresh water hose purchased at your store that leaked terrible, ultimately falling apart in my hands and you can imagine the disappointment and frustration. I'd like to say that we took a second trip and had a better experience but the RV has sat at Camping World in Wauconda for the last 2 weeks waiting on warranty service and we've been told approval from Thor may take as long as a month, if they approve the repairs at all. by the way, not a helpful or friendly staff in the service department in Wauconda. They seem quite bothered every time we call after hearing no update. We'd like to go camping again! That's why we bought it. I earn my living in the service business and expect my team to provide service that is of such high quality that our customers would be afraid to go anywhere else. I'd be embarrassed to receive this email. I expected better,

Camping World in Yuba City, California - Do not go to Camper world unless you want problems

I was looking for a small motorhome 24' when I found a Travago on the internet at Camper world I ask the salesman and he said he found a new one in Fresno and could get it here in 1 or 2 days. This was 5-16-15. It finally got here 5-29-15 from somewhere. they told me fresno the somewhere down south the I heard it came from Bakersfied no one seem to know as they are all managers out there. When it got here the screen door was broke and they said they would order me a new one. that took 2 weeks. I had the van 1 week and took it back as the lock will not work, that was 5-15-15. I was suppose to leave on the 1st for vacation they said it would be ready5-26-15. down to where it was being fixed thank heaves not them and they said they just brought it in on6-24-15 at 4pm and told them there was recalls on it also so it would be 1-2 weeks before it was ready. needless to say I will be home for the 4th of July. I wish they had this van where the sun doesn't shine . By the way the van is great just not from them if A ever get it baCk. DO NOT GO TO CAMPING WORLD!!!!!!!!!!!

Camping World in Baraboo, Wisconsin - 6 weeks 19 emails and still no awning

Our entire awning was torn off by the wind while driving on Mother's Day week. We have used Camping World for many years, mostly in-store purchases, but have had service work done there as well. We prepaid for a new awning and 19 emails full of lies later, still no awning. 6 weeks , two cancelled camping trips due to no awning. We went across the street to Wisconsin RV World and had a new awning complete with installation in 5 days. We are so done with Camping World, Deforest, WI. We were President's Club members for many many years as well.

Our Sales person Brook was wonderful! The Store staff were helpful and 2 of the gentlemen in the service were helpful. Now to the rest of them. Our appointment was at 1:00 and Jennifer knew we were there and never once thought to ask us the reason we were waiting. After 2 hours we finally told her that we were going to go outside and she said well I was ready at 1:00, I was waiting for you to do your final walk thru (Which NEVER happen) So we processed to do the paperwork and they final pull trailer around and this RUDE person that all I seen him do for the last 3 hours was drive around on a golf cart!!! Came in and said "Thumma- AS IS" and i replied, yes why do you ask? and he turnaround and left!!! The management never said a word to us the entire 4 hours we were there!!! As for the "AS IS" comment, we were well aware of the what it means, but all customers should be treated the same doesn't matter if you are spending 8,000 or 50,000. It would be more likely that the 8000. customer would be returning sooner that the 50,000. I which I had more time to go into more details...because there is alot! But the most horrible things that happen was the Service dept was willing to let us leave without a battery cover and under 10.00 item! and when we finally got home to find out that they NEVER tighten the tow package they installed!!! THIS WAS EXTREMELY DANGEROUS!! Undercover Boss you are so needed at Camping World all over the US. And for Corporate...I gave you a chance to reply to me and you have not and in my last email I said if I did not get any satisfaction, I would find anyplace I could to let other know BEWARE OF GRUMBINE'S
