Camping World in Revere, Massachusetts - Can't get the items I paid for.

I ordered on June 2, 2015 $170 worth of products and I have yet to receive three items. I was charged for everything up-front even though there was a back order worth $108.99. I have sent two e-mails but can't get any reply telling me anything. Also, when we attempted to get info of the status of our items, we could not do so because we placed the order directly with one of Camping World's Representatives. That does not make any sense. Anyone should be able to get information on their order regardless of how the order was placed.

Do not order anything on their website. I ordered a mattress was told there were 4 in stock and it would ship in 10 days. It has been 2 weeks and a I find out the mattress is on back order n i may not recieve one after already paying for it.

Avoid camping world, they don't back their sales

I bought a Surflo 4008 pump for a camper that we are rebuilding. It was purchased in March 2015 but not installed until today as I have been working on the camper as I had time, Opened the box today and started the installation found the plastic hose connection to be broken. It came apart in my hand as I was attaching the hose, no force of any type. I believe it was cracked, the box was not damaged so it was not broken in transit. I called customer service and after 45 minutes on hold, an agent answered, I explained my problem, gave her my order number, after a few minutes she said we only warranty for 90 days, you must call the manufacturer and gave me the number, sorry, we can't help you. I contacted Shurflo who told me to contact Camping World. I explained that they had given me her number and said it was the manufacturer's problem. She took my number and said she would call me back, have not heard from them yet. This company, Camping World, has terrible customer service and does not stand behind the products they sell. Do yourself a favor and stay away from Camping World. Don't know about Shurflo yet

Bought a 2005 Holiday Rambler Presidential (cash)last year (2014) they set it up in the park i was in . I went to take it out on for a road trip and low and behold found out it had no brakes. All 4 tires blew , they used 2 ply instead of 10 ply like they should have. I tried calling Keith and am still waiting on a return phone call. This is from thee Ocala , Florida camping world. Will not be doing business with this company again. The sad thing is ....this is my home and if this is how the treat Vets the i advise all vets to stay away from this company. Sarge

Had it in to fix slide, which they fixed but damaged and broke trim around slide. The mechanics obviously don't care. Had to leave there and they said they would send me the trim so I could replace it. Now they are avoiding my calls. Don't go there !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bought a 2013 Dutchman kodiak 300bhsl new. That being said I know why dutchman has since been bought by keystone. Every faucet leaked from day 1, roof leaked from day 2, show base cracked from lack of support after 4 months. Camping world unlike a automobile dealer would not stand behind anything. There idea of performing warrenty work was drop it off, stand in line we will return it with the same issues and more after we *** for 6 months! GO TO *** AND BURN!!! CAMPING WORLD OF JAX, MOE THE JACK *** SERVICE AD VISOR. So in 2015 unloaded that dutchman P.O.S. at La mesa RV and bought a 2105 Heartland bighorn 3755FL. Hats off to Heartland (Quality).

Poor customer service, wasted our time, and outright misled us and they think it is okay After a lot of research we went to campingworld where we met John our salesman and after some time, we decided to go with the 27ft Palomino. We went back to the office and filled out all the paperwork and we didn't haggle on the price which was $16,995, we offered $1,000 down and they came back and asked us if we could put more down. We offered $1,200 down and John came back from financing and said our payments would be $210, we signed the agreement and he offered to have the camper ready by the next day. We had plans to go to Amarillo Saturday and my husband had to work Friday, so we asked if we could pick it up on Monday. The salesman John said sure, that they would call us and have someone walk through with us and schedule everything for Monday. He shook our hands, everyone said congratulations and he said "well I'm going to go put a sold sign on your camper!" We were very excited and made camping plans with our friends and family who were co-camper owners. We went out and bought the sheets and the accessories we would need for it and we put a deposit on a storage spot for it. We did not receive a call on Monday, my husband left a message for our salesman and a message for the finance manager and no one would back. My husband had to drive up there to find out what was going on. The finance manager that he had left a message for came to him and told him that our interest rate would be %18 and our payment would increase and that they wanted $4,000 down, which was not the deal we signed and needless to say we were frustrated and could not understand why they did not just tell us that to begin with and we would not have made all these plans and wasted our time and money. We call and spoke to the General manager Tom Lang and were upset and frustrated and asked him why they would tell us it was a done deal; make us sign an agreement; tell us congratulations; and put a sold sticker on the camper if it was not a done deal at all. He argued with us that his sales people are operating under an assumption and that sometimes the banks change the agreement that they have us sign and that was not their fault. I was flabbergasted that this was how they did business and asked him if they thought it was good business to act as though the deal had gone through and let people believe waste their time and money getting supplies for the camper and putting deposits on storage facilities when there is a possibility that there is no deal and he said he thought it was fine. I informed him that I would post my experience online and let consumers decide if they agreed with him or not.

Camping world sucks, go to Paines RV

I went in to look at campers on a Sat and found a great camper. Got a quote 2 hours later... Left after telling them that our camper was in better shape than the used ones they showed us because they offered a lower trade value than the *** used ones on their lot. They proceeded to call my phone one day and my wife's the next day for about a week! I emailed to tell them no deal because trade value they gave was terrible. Salesman said send me an offer and we will review. So I did, 10 minutes later he calls and hands phone to sales manager. He offers me a price more than what he quoted me a week earlier?????????? Then asks me why I made such a low offer???? Then tells me why I need to pay for trailer prep, destination fee an LP...... That is why his price is higher than mine. I have bought 3 new campers and haveNEVER plaids those fees *** and over priced monkeys. Stay away go to paines RV!!!!!!! Better people better prices, better products!

Odering a part from camping world was a big mistake

I ordered a part on line and paid by visa as it stated it was in stock .After the order was placed they said they were too busy to send it and would as soon as they got time .After calling them as we were going on a trip and we needed the part they said they would push it up to the top of the list .That did not happen and after 4 days we decided to buy it some where esle .We they asked to cancel and send us our money ,and that as been almost a month now and no money has been sent back to us .We have called them several times and nothing happens .I would never buy from them again and would just tell you if you are so *** to buy from this company You need every thing you get .Be wise go some where else

CAMPING WORLD SHOULD CLOSE THE DOORS

Camping World in Vacaville provides the worst customer service I have experienced in California, they do not return calls, they do not do service agreed upon and they happily shade the truth about when a service will be completed. They bump customers for anyone who buys an RV off the lot and to top it off when they complete work they don't notify the owner. Co-workers play the blame game and management does not have a clear understanding of what they are talking about when they do return calls. We dropped our 40 foot RV off to be washed and waxed – but it is clear the staff heard washed and scratch!!! The first thing I noticed when we picked up the Rv was a 2 inch scratch in the black paint on the door. I suppose it was their friendly reminder to never go there again. Camping World has underwhelmed me for years, but this is the end of the road. My husband and I will never go back to another Camping World. The lack of pride, integrity, and loyalty to customers is beyond belief. The fact that we took our RV to Camping World is the most disappointing– I knew better, but thought we could give them the benefit of the doubt – NEVER AGAIN!!! Highly recommend not going to Camping World period, but definitively don’t go for service on your RV. They over promise and under deliver with a vengeance! The wash and wax was worthless since they kept the Coast for 1 week out in the weather after they supposedly did the work – they did not remove the wax and they charged for the product $69.60 and $55.77 an hour; the bill indicates they spent 5 hours on the RV – but having cleaned the RV many times – it is clear they spent less than 2 hours actually working. Cost of semi clean RV & 2 inch scratch in the paint $365.08 – what a deal – Highly don’t recommend!!! STAY AWAY they need serious customer service training. Read reviews before going in for anything from Vacaville Camping World. 
