Camping World - Repair Review from Midland, North Carolina

I don't know where to start this but I'm having real issue with the Good Sam staff. Three plus weeks ago I pulled into the Knoxville Freightliner repair shop with a fuel issue. I spent a week in the parking lot my wife had to drive Two days to stay with our son. I've not send her since then. Last Friday we We're told ready and repaired. We have a gold Plan coverage and so the repair shop got authorization for repair of fuel pump and it was found the damaged pump also damaged all the injectors And other stuff. Still all repaired and ready last Friday. Today it is Tuesday and now past seven pm. First we were told inspector did not get proof of injector failure when In Fact he did see the report and took a photo of the computer screen report. Sent it in, after the weekend, while we waited. No response from the good Sam people. We Finally learn they need report resent they could not go with the inspection report from the inspector you use so that had to be resent. So, the inspector you sent our, his report is not good enough. They received that report and before the person at Good Sam Claims told me once they get that report they will approve. So it was sent this morning. Tuesday I get a ride two and half hours dropped off and find that the person at Good Sam a supervisor named Eric had it on his desk to approve. Waited two hours called to check was told oh no, he went home for the night and they would send to another supervisor named Tim who was still there. So, 20 minutes later I called again and what do you know, Tim has gone for the day also and he will not Be back till later the next day. Really!! How inconsiderate and uncaring is that. They knew I have been here all this time waiting and they have no care but to leave and not care? Who cares? Who cares for us, the people who have paid for this insurance and place our faith in a company that promotes the care to Rv customers. I have never been so disgusted, angry, stressed out before in my life over something like this. Does anyone care enough there for us who depend on you. I have to call someone who drove three hours to bring me here today, because I was told all they need is he report and they will approve, to come back three hours pick me up And take me back because I have no food, no place o stay, no money to eat or place to go eat, no one to care for pets in a construction trailer I have to stay in because of this constant delay. Then tomorrow, IF someone cares enough to put some effort into helping someone In need who paid for the gold plan and just do their job and call the approval code. You already cleared and acknowledged the fuel pump and this is continued issue from the failure of the fuel pump. So Mr Marcus. What does it take, where is the care, where is the customer support advertised? Wi I ever get a call or care or some type help or compensation for this ordeal? Wes Hannsomnixx@yahoo.com

Camping World Woodstock Ga. Purchased a new unit and wheel fell off within 70 miles. Severed at the lug nuts. Thanks to Jesus no innoncent person was hurt nor my family. Two months later, they still have the new unit with one excuse after the other. So much for a happy experience for my 11 year old son. I have never been treated this way by any business. You are so right. David Garvin, Camping World's founder, was a gentleman and would never allow his customers to be treated poorly. Marcus Lemonis on the other hand only cares about his person fortune.

Camping World in Kaysville, Utah - Scam

We Bought a Trailer from camper World and it wasn't until we took it out camping for the first time-that we found out they sold us a trailer with a bent axle, the left tire was completely bald on the outside edge about 3 inches in.Pretty scary what if it would of blown. The thing is before we bought the trailer, we kept telling them "it looks like the trailer is leaning a little", they told us repeatedly that the tires just needed air. When we called them about this issue they had us bring it in, and they changed the spring on one side telling us that was the problem, we brought the trailer home and it was really tippy but they said it was because the spring is new and it will even out with the other side eventually, turns out they put the wrong size spring on, so we changes the spring ourselves to the correct size, and also changes the axle, because they don't know how to do it right the first time, I feel we were really ripped off, they sold us a trailer knowing that the axles were bent, Very disappointing. Never go there!!!!!

Camping World - Rv Part Review from Walnut Creek, California

Camping World in Idaho Falls Idaho is a joke!! I've called them several times today to talk with parts to no avail! If your lucky enough to geat a live person, they'll transfer you to parts! Thats where the very poor Customer Service begins! Just today ive not been able to talk with the parts department! The nice lady that answers phone transfers me to parts, then the phone justs rings and rings. I've held on several times for up to 10 minutes, never talking to anyone in parts so I hank up! Ive done this several times today and not once have I spoke with parts! After the poor customer service last Friday and Saturday I can't believe I'm even calling Camping World! Ive always gave 2nd chances but after today I'll never call or buy from Camping World again unless Customer Service improves drastically!! We were so excited when we heard Camping World was coming to Idaho Falls because this area is really lacking for a good place to get parts for RV'S! We're very disappointed with customer service!!

Camping World in Cedar Falls, Iowa - Total lack of service

I made a appointment with the Cedarfalls Camping World, 6 weeks ahead to check out My new Thor ACE coach battery. After 2 hours of waiting, I went to check to see if they had done the check yet. They didn't have the paper work done. So I did the work Myself. I should have been done with them then. But you can't fix ***. I went back and had a hitch mounted to tow my car. With everything hooked up I noticed my rear cameras and radio didn't work. I called the tech back out, he told me the radio was shot. They priced one to me for $780. And told me that it wasn't anything that they did. I said that it worked when I came in? I got the same reply. I researched on the internet and founded out what caused the problem and how to fix it. Needless to say I won't be going back to this dealer nor would I recommend them to anyone

Camping World in Rapid City, South Dakota - Winterization going too slow

My husband works internationally and uses our very, very large toy hauler fifth wheel when in the states. We live in Rapid City SD and need winterizing. I am a high school teacher and my time is very limited. My husband made an appointment for last Saturday Sept. 12, for 8 AM. I also had a meeting at noon with admin at our school. 8AM, no Camping World 9AM, no Camping World 10AM, guess what? You got it, no Camping World and a phone call to Rich, the one that made appointment with. "May I speak to Rich in services?" I asked. " Just one minute," tick,tick,tick,tock,tick,tock,"Oh, Rich is not here today can someone else help?" she asked. "Can you send me back to service please?" I asked A few minutes later this is what I get. " Service" he relayed. I continue asking him about my appointment with Rich. " I have an appointment with Rich for today at 8AM and none has shown up. Our fifth wheel is getting winterized. Can you tell me if anyone has left or is planning on coming?" I asked. You will not believe his answer," I do not show you on the books, who did you make the appointment with?" That was last Saturday, well here i am waiting again. It is Saturday and the appointment was 8AM again and no-one is here. I called and would you believe the tech is sick today and they are trying to find someone to send. My question to Camping World, If I make appointments and keep them but you do not, and the pipes in my Fifth Wheel burst, will you fix them free or charge me for your ***?

Make an appointment at dakota discount rv out on mall drive, they will do it while you wait, takes about 30 mins, won't be any tick, tock

We bought a class A from camping world back in Nov of 14, the sales person was great, but are experience since then has been worst then any I have experienced from any company in my life, it took took two months to receive our motor home, they had things to fix, the Genaral Manager cussed at me in front of my wife and children, ( he has since been fired) Everytime something breaks they make it worst, and it cost me more money, the extended warranty from good SAMs is a joke what a waste of 3k, they manage to to get out of replacing things due to there "betterment " clause , I'm about to trade it in, it won't be at camping world, I would prefer to drive a couple hundred miles, then to ever give them a dime of my money again, customer beware,

Tire Review

Called today. Wanted to see if they had tire needed for our pop up camper. Got run around from one person to next to finally A voice mail of a specialist. Hung up called back. I just want to know if you have tire size I need. Transferred again phone rang and rang at least 5 min. I hung up. Really bad service!!!!!

Purchased 2015 Thor A.C.E. IN April. Has been back to camping world 3 times for repair which were mfg defects. First 2 times, repairs were made to our satisfaction. This 3rd time, they said they repaired 2 things and 3rd would be done quickly. It's been a week and no one will return our calls.
