Camping World in Rockford, Illinois - Employees need some training

We stopped at this Camping World planning to buy approx $600 worth of products for our RV. When we finally found a person who could help us, we found out that they did not have what we wanted. We have a gas Motorhome and were shown what we were looking for, but for a deisel engine. The girl said they had another one that was maybe for gas, but could not find it. I had questions about another product that they were out of and I thought I would order it, but no one could answer any of my questions. We left with nothing.

Do not trust mayu the service manager is a lier.bought a brand new camper set it up first time and when we hooked up water it was running out from under the camper. When they built the camper at Coleman they shot a staple thru the water line. I fixed their problem for them. Mayu said he would replace the insulation that got wet. When they said it was ready went to pick up they had not replaced anything and was told it did not need it but you can't tell unless you removed the under fabric which was not done. Then the *** said I put the holes in the pipe. What would I be shooting staples in my camper for.first I would have to remove the metal siding to get to the area where the pipe and staple were.this place is nothing but a bunch of lying idiots. I will never deal with camping world period. And would not recommend camping world to anyone.i could go on for sometime but this is the straw that broke the camels back. Hey mayu get a life. And may the feas of a thousand Camels infest your wife's arm pits.

Camping World - Warranty Review from Woodstock, Illinois

Worst customer relations. ... and will never purchase another thing from this company. Purchased 2015 dutchmen kodiak 276bhsl late last season ! Had a couple of issues with unit which i was charged for road service fee for warranty work. Which i was o.k with? But we paid off the loan note in less than a year and we had gap insurance on said loan, well early payment warranted us receiving a check from camping world of deforest, wisconsin at $791 well we paid off the trailer about 6 or 7 weeks ago and thought that everything was set and the check should be in the mail. And nothing? So on 9-22-15 called camping world and spoke to travis in finance and told him my name and asked if he had any idea when we would be receiving our money? He proceeded to ask me if i had filled out a form. (What form)? I replied !!!!! That we needed fill out some release form or something to that effect? So i asked him how come this is the first time of hearing of this and why was i not told this in the beginning 6 or 7 weeks ago?? And his reply to me was priceless ( thats not our responsibility its yours ) i was pissed, so i went to there website and emailed them a complaint that travis is absolutely not customer oriented and in a way very arrogant. Couple hours go by and i get a phone call from Internet manager on said complaint concerning the issues and told him the story and told me he would look into it and get the form emailed to my wife the next day which was 9-23-15 , never got it .so my wife called travis @ approximately 2pm and he blatantly said to my wife ( i have 5 or 7 deliveries to get out today and if i have time for you then i will get it emailed to you and by the way you can tell your husband that we also received his complaint from better business Bureau ) and my wife at that point said o.k said good bye.

Camping World in Evanston, Wyoming - Water Heater cannot work!

We're living the nightmare! Bought a camper from camping world in Layton, Utah. It's been nothing but problems ever since. Now the big problem is the hot water heater. It fails us EVERYTIME we go camping! I've had the thing in for repairs 3 times now and it is going back again for the same problem. Can you return these things? Isn't there some kind of Lemon Law? Should I be paying for repairs every time it goes in for repair? Is there some kind of problem with the service department? Do the service tech's really know how to fix camper hot water heaters?

Camping World - Repair Review from Midland, North Carolina

I don't know where to start this but I'm having real issue with the Good Sam staff. Three plus weeks ago I pulled into the Knoxville Freightliner repair shop with a fuel issue. I spent a week in the parking lot my wife had to drive Two days to stay with our son. I've not send her since then. Last Friday we We're told ready and repaired. We have a gold Plan coverage and so the repair shop got authorization for repair of fuel pump and it was found the damaged pump also damaged all the injectors And other stuff. Still all repaired and ready last Friday. Today it is Tuesday and now past seven pm. First we were told inspector did not get proof of injector failure when In Fact he did see the report and took a photo of the computer screen report. Sent it in, after the weekend, while we waited. No response from the good Sam people. We Finally learn they need report resent they could not go with the inspection report from the inspector you use so that had to be resent. So, the inspector you sent our, his report is not good enough. They received that report and before the person at Good Sam Claims told me once they get that report they will approve. So it was sent this morning. Tuesday I get a ride two and half hours dropped off and find that the person at Good Sam a supervisor named Eric had it on his desk to approve. Waited two hours called to check was told oh no, he went home for the night and they would send to another supervisor named Tim who was still there. So, 20 minutes later I called again and what do you know, Tim has gone for the day also and he will not Be back till later the next day. Really!! How inconsiderate and uncaring is that. They knew I have been here all this time waiting and they have no care but to leave and not care? Who cares? Who cares for us, the people who have paid for this insurance and place our faith in a company that promotes the care to Rv customers. I have never been so disgusted, angry, stressed out before in my life over something like this. Does anyone care enough there for us who depend on you. I have to call someone who drove three hours to bring me here today, because I was told all they need is he report and they will approve, to come back three hours pick me up And take me back because I have no food, no place o stay, no money to eat or place to go eat, no one to care for pets in a construction trailer I have to stay in because of this constant delay. Then tomorrow, IF someone cares enough to put some effort into helping someone In need who paid for the gold plan and just do their job and call the approval code. You already cleared and acknowledged the fuel pump and this is continued issue from the failure of the fuel pump. So Mr Marcus. What does it take, where is the care, where is the customer support advertised? Wi I ever get a call or care or some type help or compensation for this ordeal? Wes Hannsomnixx@yahoo.com

Camping World Woodstock Ga. Purchased a new unit and wheel fell off within 70 miles. Severed at the lug nuts. Thanks to Jesus no innoncent person was hurt nor my family. Two months later, they still have the new unit with one excuse after the other. So much for a happy experience for my 11 year old son. I have never been treated this way by any business. You are so right. David Garvin, Camping World's founder, was a gentleman and would never allow his customers to be treated poorly. Marcus Lemonis on the other hand only cares about his person fortune.

Camping World in Kaysville, Utah - Scam

We Bought a Trailer from camper World and it wasn't until we took it out camping for the first time-that we found out they sold us a trailer with a bent axle, the left tire was completely bald on the outside edge about 3 inches in.Pretty scary what if it would of blown. The thing is before we bought the trailer, we kept telling them "it looks like the trailer is leaning a little", they told us repeatedly that the tires just needed air. When we called them about this issue they had us bring it in, and they changed the spring on one side telling us that was the problem, we brought the trailer home and it was really tippy but they said it was because the spring is new and it will even out with the other side eventually, turns out they put the wrong size spring on, so we changes the spring ourselves to the correct size, and also changes the axle, because they don't know how to do it right the first time, I feel we were really ripped off, they sold us a trailer knowing that the axles were bent, Very disappointing. Never go there!!!!!

Camping World - Rv Part Review from Walnut Creek, California

Camping World in Idaho Falls Idaho is a joke!! I've called them several times today to talk with parts to no avail! If your lucky enough to geat a live person, they'll transfer you to parts! Thats where the very poor Customer Service begins! Just today ive not been able to talk with the parts department! The nice lady that answers phone transfers me to parts, then the phone justs rings and rings. I've held on several times for up to 10 minutes, never talking to anyone in parts so I hank up! Ive done this several times today and not once have I spoke with parts! After the poor customer service last Friday and Saturday I can't believe I'm even calling Camping World! Ive always gave 2nd chances but after today I'll never call or buy from Camping World again unless Customer Service improves drastically!! We were so excited when we heard Camping World was coming to Idaho Falls because this area is really lacking for a good place to get parts for RV'S! We're very disappointed with customer service!!
