Went to camping world Albuquerque, manager refused refund or store credit for out door rug, still in original package,with reciept, also refused to take back a hitch extender even though they had sold the wrong weight rating hitch to me. Cashier could have cared less about the situation, and called the manager who was rude, told me to read the receipt, and refused store credit.. After many thousands of dollars spent there over the last five months, this will be my last visit. I'll also return their visa good sams credit card, they can put it where the sun doesn't shine!!!

Very poor and unprofessional service. Was told buy in Oregon and living in Arizona was no problem, it was. charged too much for registration & license fees. Arizona refunded 157.11 we feel it should be refunded to us. We initially took the extended warranty but upon review we decided to cancel. We check with Mat Moore the financial person and was told no problem, we personally check with him twice. I call the company today and it had not been canceled. We bought the trailer and signed contracts on August 3 and today October 6 it has not been taken care.

Camping World - Customer service way lacking (Fairfield Ohio)

I have tried multiple times to use their customer service department as well as the parts department. They are both very non-responsive. I would recommend staying away from this company if you have a choice. Out of four separate attempts for four separate issues I have received the same terrible service. I have contacted my sales guy on two occasions and had to wait days for a response. (no he was NOT on vacation). I contacted a girl when calling and she was not help. Matter of fact kind of dismissive. They were having a big sale that day with lots of people there. No time for helping someone they already sold to with a simple customer service issue. I also contacted the parts department trying to buy some parts. (this was a different day) They guy was rude and also acted like he had no time to help me. If this were baseball they more than had a strikeout!

Camping World in Burlington, Washington - Extended Warranty Contract

We purchased an 7year extended warranty for about $2.2K at the same time we purchased our Bullet trailer in Dec 2010. In June 2015 I tried to use the warranty and the repair facility was told there is no warranty on file(I heard him say it on speaker phone), he also had the facility call some other numbers with the same result. I have the contract and I emailed a scan of the contract to Camping World in Burlington WA(where we purchased it), at their request, she replied that it looked legitimate and passed it on to their extended warranty person and they would get to the bottom of this. I've made phone calls(no answer only voicemail) and several emails and no response from them since. They are ignoring me and I think they are counting on the fact that legal action would cost more than the contract, since we don't live in Washington state.

If it has not been resolved, contact corporate, HQ for CW, then file a formal complaint with the Washington State Better Business Bureau AND The WA State Attorney General. You may not live in the state, but your purchase made in WA state, and you likely paid State sales taxes on the purchase.

But regardless of where you live, the warranty deal was signed and paid for in the state of Wa. You can also write a letter to trailer life and or Good Sam Club, both have resolution help columns that if you send them copies of your douments and explain the circumstances, including names,dates etc of who you spoke to. They will also go after them on your behalf. Hopefully it was all worked out.

If not. Try those and good luck and hopefully much happier trails.

I looked at a rig at CW myself and got a weird vibe from them saying to leave, so I bailed and had the BEST experience with a purchase at Apache Camping in Everett. Was treated with regard and respect always by all their employees.

I am writing this because I feel I was terminated for unfair reasons. i have been a Camping World employee for 25 years in various positions including service installer(5.5 yrs), shop supervisor and service manager for about(15yrs), and a product specialist for approx. 5 yrs. During that time I've relocated 6 times and was a traveling service mgr. for about 4 months. I have always been a good employee, with excellent progress reviews. I lead by example and my product, service, and membership sales have consistently been either at the highest or near the highest in every store i have worked. My last store in Coburg was no different. My attendance was near perfect. I was late for work one time, but was early almost every day as well as stayed late if needed. I was out of work on medical for about 11 months for complication from open heart surgery. In a coma for 4mos, and cardio and motor/muscle in patient rehab for 4 mos. 3 more months outpatient rehab. All this to learn how to walk, talk and use my left hand again(from a stroke suffered during surgery). The Drs. said I would never work again, but I proved them wrong, only to be fired after 10 months. Brian Morgan wrote me up 3 times for 3 different reasons, none of which I repeated. I just don't understand the reason I was fired, nor do I agree with it. If someone would look at my record I believe it backs me up on this. also to terminate an employee that has devoted so much time to a company and not even offer a severance package or extended health care benefits is just not right. I would like someone to look into this. I feel like i was discarded like a piece of garbage. I loved my job and my customers loved me. I got a long with almost everyone. I think they got rid of me because of my salary and my medical problems. Speaking of salary, they refused to pay me the commissions I collected on about 8 prepays I did, saying they don't pay till they close out. Since they fired me before they closed them out, i heard Brian Morgan paid them to the other product specialists. If he could pay my commissions to them, why not me? I admit I did have to miss some work here and there for medical appointments, but I always came to work after and made up the hours on other days. I would be willing to go threw arbitration, or just be happy to get my job back. Thank you for your time and consideration. They will fire you at the drop of a hat, if you're not friends or family of upper management. I've seen so many great employees lose their jobs for made up offenses. Yet, the sales mangers son was caught selling drugs on company property, was not ordering parts for the shop and advisors while he was parts manger, and did not get fired.

I feel so bad for you! I am an employee who is on FMLA and they cut my pay from salary and commission to $12.25 hour.

I have started a claim against camping world for this. Here is the number for labor and industries civil department, 971-673-0764.

They were not shocked by my call and said it was in my best interest to get the paperwork back to them right away so they could start their investigation. Hope this helps, good luck.

We brought our RV camper in to the summerfield camper world to get the front of it repainted on Mon.under warranty It is now Wed. Late afternoon and it is still sitting they new we only had 4 days off we live in it at the time becuse we are camp ground hosts.We let them know way in advance they set up time ect for us to bring it in said it would only take a couple days I am very upset with such a big company not standing by there promise to do things right thanks camper world of summerfield .Your word is not to great at all if I could. I would give you. 1Star if that.

My husband and I had brought our1978 tioga dodge motorhome class c to camping world in kingston new york to have them put in a couple items they were doing a 48 point inspection they went on the roof to put a hood vent on when they knocked off a cap that has been covered for an antenna. During the next rainfall our motorhome got drenched rain poud in buckets at a time from the roof in to our motorhome. We call them they said they would fix it. This happened in June 2015. There was damage to items that were stored in the over hang above the cab. When we called them about the damaged items they would only pay us$700.00 for the damaged items. So now we are in September and our roof is leaking on the over hang by the brackets. The General manager at the Kingston location in New York David Dorkmouth (this is not his real last name but it should be )a supposed Christian told us to call our insurance company. We had never had a leak in our motorhome in all the years we owned it until we went to camping world a nightmare visit that is still haunting us to this very day. My husband and I live in our motorhome on a full time basis. My husband and I are both diable and climbing up on the roof is in possible for my husband so I have to try and do it my self. If anybody reads this review please please do not go to camping world they are fraudulent people who do not care about people all they do is make promises but never follow through with it they just want your money and do not give a *** about you as a person they will yes you to death. Camping World in Golden, Colorado - HORRIBLE COMPANY

WOW !! What a horrible company to do business with. Don't buy from them !! the service after the sale is terrible. He's why, First no one will return your phone calls except for the sales staff. I left 10 messages for the finance manager without so much as a return call over a 14 day period just in case he was on vacation, he wasn't. When I was finally able to get in touch with him he ( in which I called him again ) said he didn't get any messages. Funny they were on his personal voice mail box. What do you think ?? Second, it's been 3 phone calls with contact with company employees and 3 months and I still have not received title to my trailer. They said they are overworked and under staffed. Well fix it people !! Then I've been waiting over 2 months for a $300.00 rebate check for my GAP insurance. I did get one finally 2 weeks ago but it was made out to the bank instead of me. I called and talked to the lady and she said send check back and she would reissue one to me. Well that's going on 2 weeks now and she won't return a call either now. I've left her 2 messages for her. I think all they want is your money and once they get that their done with you. I would just bet that their service department is just as bad too. This company needs some serious management changes. I will never buy so much as a roll to T.P. from Camping World in the future and I would recommend taking your business some where else as well. This is only my opinion but this is all honest information.

Camping World in Pueblo, Colorado - Front Cap

About two weeks ago I took my camper to Camping World for a review of my delamination problem on my camper's front cap. I delivered it to the service center they agree to look at it for a diagnosis. After a phone call they said I had two options, one to replace the cap for four thousand or repair the problem for twenty five hundred depending on what they found. I agreed to have it repaired. Two days later they call and said they did not want to work on my camper. They wanted to replace the cap only. After a few choice words I picked up the camper, paid the diagnosis bill and went home. When I got home I got on the internet and found a company Hemet Valley RV that would provide me with a new prefabricated fiberglass front cap for 800.00 dollars. I proceeded to repair my front cap without any problems [no other damage] for a grand total of 1000.00 dollars. 2015 Starcraft 266 Rks Travel Trailer Review

I have a 266 RKS travel trailer for Starcraft this is a 2015 unit. the wallpaper is coming off the walls .the shower leaks.the toilet leaks.the sealant on the roof around events is no good.the hot water heater pop off valve leaks.well I'm not going to go any further.do not recommend this trailer to anybody.
