Camping World Rv Service Review from Myrtle Beach, South Carolina

Myrtle Beach Camping World has had our RV since August 18 for body repair and to replace cracked shower stall. They said the shower stall was ordered but Forest River sent a door instead of the stall. They told us the stall had been reordered and shipped, 2 weeks have gone by and have not heard from them if they have received the stall. We have, also, been told they are having a hard time finding the mud flap. After 2 months of lying, I called Forest River and found out it is one piece of rubber and cut to fit and the bar is prefabricated by a piece from the local hardware store. We are so disgusted with Camping World and their lies we will find another company for any future repairs.

Wenzel Cabin Tent Review

Waiting near on 3 months for a refund for a tent which didn't even see one night through to be told the shattered fibreglass poles were not faulty!! Disgusting attitude and no 12 month refund/returns policy as promised.. Would of been better buying a tent from Argos!! Avoid do not buy!

bought a 2015 Forrest River Rockwood ultra lite. What a joke ultra light my *** this is a junky unit. ultra lite is just another way of saying expensive piece of junk. $43000.00 mistake. I hooked up the water and found the inside lines were not connected. flooded my camper and I have hardwood floors. camping world NLR acted as if I did it. I do not trust NLR. I took it out for the first time in July and found more problems. took it in for repair, they acted as if I was a *** consumer. This unit is still under warranty but, they say I might have to pay for some repairs. The first time in it took them over a month and still was not repaired. My advise is stay away from NLR and camping world all together. I had to threaten them with a law suite before any action was taken. Now, they call me a special needs customer and can't stand talking to me. I caught them in a lie which makes it worst on me. warning!!!! stay away!!!!

Great results at camping world in Center Conway NH

We bought a new 2015 Keystone Cougar-lite 27RKS. It had half dozen workmanship issues from factory (broken hinges, Table leaf hinge, ceiling strapping, broken charging station, wooden trim damaged, only one set of keys) and found a huge leak in nose cap seam we found a few months after purchase. The service and sales folks where great it took a couple trips in (waiting for parts & we wanted to use camping) and they fixed all our issues. The entire team are very friendly, courteous, and professional as well as always followed up to check that all issues had been corrected. I would not hesitate to recommend them to family and friends

Camping World - 2004 Fleetwood Wilderness Advantage Review from Germantown, Maryland

Be prepared to bend over and take it, because you are definetly going to get screwed dealing with these people! My husband and I purchased a used 5th wheel, granted it was used, granted it was purchased "as is" and we were made aware of "the repairs" that were needed to be made. With that in mind and knowing what needed to be done we purchased the 5th wheel....nothing prepared us for everything else that was wrong with it that they hesitated to tell us and then on top of everything else...our second camping trip on the way home half of our roof blew off!!...do these people actually check these things before selling them!!!...I've tried contacting them about this, but of course they do not want to hear from anyone unless you are purchasing their ***! They already have our money, so why would they care! Will never deal with these people ever again and will advise anyone else the same!

How may I assist you? Me (October 9, 2015 at 12:21:47 PM EDT): Camping World in Winchester has had PO#2081030 to HWH for over a month and they still have not received the jacks they ordered. They have called many times to check on the status and they seem to be getting the run around with a different answer from HWH each time. The guys at Winchester serve me well and I have no complaints with them....Its HWH. As one of your vendors I suggest you jack them up. This is not the first time that Winchester has had problems with HWH because the same thing happened to me on two other occasions. This makes Camping World look bad I know a lot of RV.ers that are pretty pissed with time of service because you seem not to control you vendors very well. Adrian D (October 9, 2015 at 12:26:24 PM EDT): Unfortunately there is nothing we can do to control vendors. We do everything we can for our customers and work with them to the best of our ability. But, ultimately we do not have control over them. I do apologize for any inconvenience that has been caused. If they don't provide the public with proper service don't advertise for them as you do in your stores and use them as a last resort. I am sure if Camping World was really concerned about the customers the President of Camping World would get on the phone with the President of the Vendor and get things straight. We offer products and services that are popular, requested, etc. for our customers. We do our best to stock products in our own warehouses to avoid drop ships, but it is not always possible to do so. Vendor issues are known and handled by a team set specifically aside for that task. Me (October 9, 2015 at 12:37:42 PM EDT): Well Adrian tell the vendor team to get to work. I get letters and emails from your president all the time about wanting to provide us with the best service. So, I suggest you let management know that in the case of your vendors your service needs some attention. I deal with vendors everyday and I would never let this happen. Camping World experience horrible and unprofessional

We recently experienced a fiasco at Camping World in Cichester N.H. We scheduled to have a Blue Ox tow system installed on our new Jeep Wrangler.We were told it would take about six hours. We drove about two hrs. north to a scheduled 12 noon appointment, which seemed to be a bit late to get started on the work. We arrived and were told it would be about 12 hrs and we wouldn't have the car back for a couple of days. The counter "experts" kept passing the buck and blame back and forth and no one was taking any responsibility for the confusion or mix up. Our jeep was dropped off on Wednesday and told it would probably be ready Friday. We were told not to call, but to use email as they always check and reply to email. We tried to email on Friday, no response. We returned on Monday to hear the crock that the work had not been started yet and it would be a few days yet. As I was about to boil over with frustration, and anger the responses were slow, uninterested, confusing and disrespectful. A service manager came out to announce they were referring to another jeep and ours should be ready in two hours. It was now the fifth day and they still needed two more hrs.. When it was ready, about two hrs. later there was no service mechanic around to demonstrate how to hookup or operate the system, instead they sent the same indignant counter girl out to read and try to learn how to set up the system and she told us, as she stumbled through the directions, to figure it out and hook it up ourselves. The whole experience was witless and judgmental against us their new customers. We trusted they knew what they were doing. They might as well all have been just hired that morning without training. It was as far from a professional experience as any one could imagine. There is no way I would ever patronize that facility again and I'm not sure I would ever trust Camping World anywhere to service, repair or supply items for our RV again. We were thoroughly disappointed and disgusted with the whole experience. I will pass the negative word along and make sure no one is sent their way as long as I have anything to say about it.

I am starting to believe this is how they operate most of their service departments. Some how the word needs to get out there about their poor work.

Camping World in Cumming, Georgia - Repairs on camper

repairs on gulf stream camper my camper has been at the Oakwood RV center in ga. scense aug. 4 after all of the trying to get the repairs complete even after my insurance company has tried and still nothing has been done I don't know what else to do Please advise what some repairs has been made but the rest of the parts has not even been ordered I have been up there several times but everyone seems to even try to look at my work sheet and not even contacting my insurance so nothing is getting done my claim # is 0375347102

Camping World El Paso TX

Went to Service manager Ernesto for est on damaged 2014 Jayco 5W. I was told 30 days for parts and a day to fix. Offered to make a deposit for parts and was told not necessary, they would work through my insurance. Great! Order the parts, set a date for the repair, and call me when you want the unit in. Can it get easier? Three weeks later Ernesto emails and says he has the parts list together and needs $$ to order the parts - it's company policy?? To top that I went to Jayco for factory parts 193.36 + shipping Ernesto estimate was just under $1500 - I won't set foot in this store again. Ernesto Carbajal shame on you! It's called customer SERVICE. Just looked at the other reviews coach purchasers are happy the rest think the place sucks. Get a clue Camping World you have a problem.

Camping World - Buyer beware - Akron Ohio

We have been looking for a RV for several years in anticipation of retiring and traveling; well that day has come and we decided on the Forest River Sierra which we found in Akron Ohio. We live in NY about 7 hours away however, decided that it was worth the trip to go and pick it up. We put a deposit on it on 9/5 and let them know when we would be there to pick it up. We were told that it would be checked out, cleaned and ready for us when we were ready to pick it up which was 10/5 so keep in mind that they had a full month to be sure everything was good and ready to go. Needless to say it had several issues when we were being shown how to operate everything and were told that they would be taken care of that afternoon, we were then told it would be the next morning; it ended up with us being told that the issues could not be fixed at that time. One of the issues was a deep scratch in the kitchen counter top which they knew about and had ordered a new one several weeks before we came to pick it up and it was not going to be in until 10/15. We were upset that know one bothered to call us and let us know about this or any of the other issues because had they we would have waited until the repair was done before we went to pick it up! Service told us that we had two choices: 1. leave it there and drive back out to get it when repair was done or 2. take it home and then drive it up to our nearest camping world 2 hours away to have the repair done which could take 5-6 hours or more to complete. We went to the manager (Wade) to let him know how unhappy we were with the situation and he was the rudest, most belligerent person we have ever had the misfortune of talking to. It was obvious to us that he could care less and that we were just a nuisance to him!! He didn't know why we were so upset? Are you kidding me right now? We ended up storming out of his office and left! We were lied to by the salesman about the repairs being done by the time we were ready to leave with it so we paid for the RV. Big mistake!!!!! Another case of "just sell it; get them out the door; and don't look back"!! The experience took us from feeling excited to feeling cheated and lied to by camping world!! We will avoid doing business with any camping world in the future!

Camping world Was the worst experience in purchasing anything in my life they don’t care they lied to you they don’t answer your calls please read of her views before you spend a penny there do yourself a favor I wish I would’ve I can understand how they can remain in business still waiting for my trailer cover and an apology for waiting me 5 1/2 months for a title on a trailer that I paid cash for just completely dishonest lying company

I experienced a similar situation. 'Turn and Burn' sales.

I had to have my coach checked out at another place to find out everything that was wrong with it. Called them, called the corporation, they called back and said they would get back to me...

end of transmission...beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep. Go elsewhere and save yourself.
