Camping World in Chattanooga, Tennessee - Shady Folks

Hello Marcus Lemonis CEO of Camping World, Thanks for your email. We believe that Camping World Chattanooga has violated a number of Tennessee Consumer Laws. Your sales team in Chattanooga accepted an offered $17,098K "out the door" price on this CTU249RB Coleman Camper. Took our $2K down payment check, we were congratulated and presented with a SOLD sign in front of other customers and sales staff. However, we were presented with a sales agreement that did not contain those terms. When we questioned the contract our check was returned to us and we were told that they could not sell us the camper for that price.

He took your offer to the desk with your money down to get it done. Clearly, what happened was they did not accept your offer and your money was returned to you.

This is not complicated to understand but it must have been to you. I apologize for that.

Camping World of Chattanooga has the very worst service department!!Rick Gutherie and Casey Sullivan should not be working there at all!! Don't expect them to do anything they tell you they will do! It won't happen and they don't care!

I have always received good service at Chattanooga location. We purchases our camper there and have no complaints. Will buy there again.

Had rails installation for 5th wheel done just had this installed 8 month ago but up graded truck working lots of hours otherwise I would done my self. Waited their time line to get the price I wanted to pay . Dropped off then the first call came asking for more money because you have this well they knew I have a new truck so this is a bait and switch I feel .Then I get call saying your craigslist item is bent well I bought this new 8 month s ago and pulled 2 times trying to sell me a new one . I said no so they didn't put pins and attach it was sitting one hole off to passanger side. There was metal shaving in the bed next to the holes on a 70 thousand truck. I got back to camper and went to put in place wouldn't go tried several times then I slid one rail so i could get good veiw was a 1/4 inch off called them and get the run around just want them to do right.

I bought a 2015 grey wolf.from camping world i have had nothing but problems out of this camper. The slide messed up relay switch AC vent Lights relay switch furnace all these problems i had with in the first six months of buying the camping. My slide was stuck out so i couldnt take it in for service. I dealt with bruce in service department at camper world and i dont mind telling you that service is not what i fell i got. He told me i would have to bring it in. I ask how with the slide out. He said he would call me back he never did i had call him. After about 2 weeks he had me do the trouble shooting for him instead of sendind a service man to help with the problem. He advised it was a relay switch and he would order one it never came.after about 4 months of fighting bruce finally sent someone to pick up the camper. The guy he sent had to burrow my tools to get the slide in the guy told me he had been working for them about month. After they took the camper to the olive branch ms location where i brought it. It took about 2 months for them to get everything fixed. When i get it back the AC still does not get cold barely get cool some of the plugs dont work the vent above the stove stll doesnt work. And when i call bruce at olive brach ms location its like oh well i dont know we are not responable grey wolf is responsible. Freinds i dont mind telling you i understand things happen i dont understand how you could stay in business with this type of service . I will never ever do bussiness with camping world in olive brach ms . I would never refer anybody to this place. I paid alot of money for this camper i have owned it less than a year and something has been torn up on it longer than its been in good working order its a 2015 camperothing should be wromg with it. And i have got very little help from camping world. Its got so bad im going to check into the lemon laws on campers now they have sales that will tell evertthing that good but i dont fell they could careless after you pull of the lot.

I can understand how you feel we bought a new 2015 Holiday Rambler Vacationer last November. On our ride home there were [problems.

We have problems, to many to list, traveled 1500 miles twice for repairs in Decatur, Indiana. The unit is almost a year old, still leaks, literally rattled apart going across country as the drivers side slide has pulled screws & is now separating. Camp world would not respond to our calls from day one so we tried to go up the ladder & still waiting. Was promised everything, extended warrantee, slide pulled & inspected for water damage.

Still no answers, nothing in writing.

Spent over 6 months & time & effort only to need to be in the shop again as our problems are mounting. We feel your pain.

Just bought a Vegas and the customer service and management at this location has been terrible since we drove off the lot. Been almost 60 days and still no plate with getting the run around every step of the way. Every time we call to get it settled it is always our fault. Ask to talk to the GM and he is never available and will not return phone calls. We have decided that we will never take the new camper to a Campingworld site for anything and use someone else. I would not recommend using them for any of your needs in the RV area.

they don't give a *** about you or your RV---Don the GM is not a leader at all ---no spine !!!!! the service problem is Mark, He has everyone screwed up.

Attitude needs to be adjusted------who's going to do it ? Don--------I think not

Camping world service stinks

1st service manager is rude. 2nd the trailer we bought is falling apart & took it back last Nov. to have it take care of but no. We are still having same problems & was told it is are fault that it is falling apart. Bought the trailer in Nov. 2013. The seat at the table the back separates from the seat. The cupboard above the couch the door does line up. The skylights all leak not just a little leak enough to damage the trim on the kitchen slide. Camping world was suppose to check all that out last year & let us know of any problems.

Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Purchased a brand new Crossroads Camper from the Syracuse location. It got damaged in their parking lot prior to delivery, they were supposed to fix it, they delivered it to my site 3 months ago and still not fixed. Said wrong parts got ordered multiple times. Emailed me the parts were in and gave me the list, not even the parts for my Camper. Now telling me it won't be fixed until Spring and they want to bring my camper back to their store to fix it...it's set up permanently with a deck around it, they are the ones who delivered it. No one even bothers to call you back. Was told the GM would call me on Friday and not a word from them. Stay away!!!!

Camping World in Marshalltown, Iowa - Your store

My wife and I were in you store last week. We could not find anyone to help us because it seemed like they were to busy on there phones, things on the selves were not in the proper place and lead us to believe they were cheaper than they were until we got to the counter to check out when we pointed this out to the cashier she and another girl just said that`s the way it is and we would have to just pay the right price. It may sound like small stuff to you but I will never come back to your store and I will tell all my friends to go some where else. I want nothing to do with your stores and any of your on line items.

Camping World - Ex employee Upstate NY location

I have read many of the complaints and as a ex employee of camping world in service I can tell you its not always the employee's fault, the work load from about april until september is way to much, at times I had 100 plus customers I was working with, I could book appointments for the shop a week or 2 ahead of time and when the customers came in and dropped the campers off they may not get into the shop for a week or 2, the shop work is controlled by shop dispatchers and has nothing to do with the front counter advisor that checked you in but the front counter advisor is the person that get beat up all day long for things totally out of their control, next after the camper finally gets into the shop and its discovered a part is needed it on average takes another 7 to 10 day to get the needed part, again the front counter person gets beat up because parts are not available, the front counter advisor position sucks, next time maybe give the front counter person a break before you rip off their face for things out of their control, last did I mention most of the service tech's have very little to no training to work on your campers, very true when camping season starts every spring camping world will hire anyone to work on your camper. Another dirty little secret is when they sell you the maintenance services on your furnace, generator, refrigerator, roof ect most of the tech's have no clue what they are doing and do not perform the service as it should be done and actually joke about screwing the customers, there is a big disconnect between the camping world retail store and the repair shop, shop tech's hate most of the services sold in the retail store and don't complete them as they should. Another dirty little secret is that paying service customers get pushed aside no matter how long they have been scheduled or waiting to get into service as soon as the sales department sells units, I have heard it right from the general managers of the dealership, I don't care about service customers my sales unit go to the front of the line. My advise if you want to buy or service a camper stay away from the chain mega stores, try dealing with a place that has a owner you can actually speak with if you have a problem.......good luck
