Camping World in Bangs, Texas - Bad LED lite

To Whom this may concern; I ordered 2 LED746P Thin-Lite received them installed them, one lite did not work I check the ohms the bad light is grounded inside. Called Camping World, told the person about my problem said they would email me whether to mail back the bad lite or Camping World would send me a new one. Haven't heard a word in a months. The 2 lights were $166.09 each we live in our RV. I need to know something..When a company rep says they will do and does nothing. You get my drift.

Camping World in Portland, Oregon - The worst service department we have ever have the to deal with!!

We bought a New 2015 Jayco Jayflight. We where sold the interior/ exterior sealant package. They had us take the trailer home before the package was applied to the trailer, due to there service department was booked and they would not be able to do the work for a while. They said they would call us when they had time to apply the sealants, a promised to wash and detail the trailer before the sealant was applied. They did call and setup the appointment, and we brought the trailer in. A week later the called and told us they had finished and we could come in a pick up the trailer. When we inspected the trailer it had the same bugs and road dirt as when we dropped it off, I questioned the service writer at the time and he promised us it had treated with the sealant and it was good to go. We had the trailer back for about a month when we got a call telling us that they had to replace some of the Jayco decals. We told them that we would have them replaced when we came in for the fall inspection. Over the summer we used the trailer, there where times that we used it in the rain. The trailer developed black streaks that would not come off. We worked for hours on trying to clean the streaks. When we took the trailer in for the fall inspection, we showed them the streaks and they said they would take care of it, when they replaced the decals. They had the trailer for three weeks, when we picked the trailer up the streaks where still there, the decals had bubbles in them and the trailer had dents in the front and sides. We talked to the manager and he said they would make it right, the service writer took pictures said she would setup appointment when parts for repairs came in. This morning she called and said the decals where in and needed to setup appointment, when questioned her on the dents and damage that happen at there shop she denied that they ever damaged the trailer. We will not be taking our trailer back this Camping World, they lie. there work is sup-pare at best

Camping World in Jackson, New Jersey - Worst Experience Ever

We purchased a 2016 Cougar Xlite travel trailer at a RV Expo in Sept,we were told that the camper needed to be built and would receive in about weeks.Excited for the phone call we drove with our trade in for 3 hours to find it was not what we ordered!Wrong color.and all manual.(even a hand crank).the camper we ordered was ALL set up with just a remote.WHY wouldn't they call us to say the color changed or there was an issue..DO THEY NOT have our paperwork to check it out before contacting us??In the mean time (as we were very angry)they were dismantling our truck and trade in before we even new if we were gonna take it!They said to us WELL were giving you a King bed and stone counter tops!!! THATS WHAT I ORDERED!!!(like they did us a favor)They finally agreed to put on the hydraulic leveler and stablizers and promised to deliver camper to us.Today we received !12-4-15(3 months Later)and the camper is a joke!!! all exposed wires hanging from each leveler they shake when putting down...Buttons installed on outside of camper to lower when a remote was what was ordered.We called them back saying this was unacceptable and their response was something like to bad !! We called corporate..they asked what do you want us to do?WE want our old camper back and our deposit or find us what we ordered!!!this was the Harrisburg, Pa Campers World...This is the 5th camper we've owned and the worst experience Ever..........Mistyiz0115@optonline.net

My experience with Camping World Harrisburg has been a NIGHTMARE since I paid them cash for a brand new travel trailer at the Hershey rv show in September. I would NEVER RECOMMEND DOING BUSINESS WITH THESE INCOMPETANT PEOPLE!!!

Camping World - Manager Review from Alton, Illinois

We had an appointment to install tires on our fifth wheel at the store in Panama City, FL. We drove from Destin to Panama City. repeatedly asked that the tires be balanced and were assured they would be. We later found that not only it was not done but they took the trailer elsewhere. We had to drive another hundred miles to have the tire shop balance the tires. We asked a direct question and were misled on the work done. After I comained in an email, a rep contacted us. He said he would call back after talking to the manager at the store. He also lied because we never heard from him again. Never ever ever ever ever go to an RV dealership for tires, do you take a car to a car dealership for tires?

Yes, we are back with another complaint on Camping World only this time it is the one in Syracuse, NY. We had to take our 2016 Sierra fifth wheel up to have some repairs done. We called ahead to let them know we would be there at the time we had agreed on they said okay we will be ready for you. Well, they weren't ready in fact they couldn't even find the work order, finally after 1/2 hour or so they found it! They were to replace the counter top that was scratched when we bought it and after waiting for a couple of hours the service manager informed us that they had received the wrong thing, he said they had a kitchen sink and not a counter top; the sink and counter are all one piece. My husband went back to look and told them that what they had received was right. They also were to repair the TV jack in the kitchen because it wasn't working. They did the repairs and we after a long day we finally got home around 9:00 pm. We set the fifth wheel up and discovered that they had left a huge mess of sawdust and wood chips in the kitchen cabinet and on the floor from installing the counter top! The next day I was drawing a sink full of water for dishes and noticed a stream of water coming out from under the island cabinet, looked inside and it was full of water. It turned out that they didn't put the drain in correctly and they didn't even bother to check it for leaks after installing it! The sink cutout that serves as counter space when needed wasn't given to us and the old one doesn't fit properly!! We were told that they discovered the TV jack was not plugged in wherever it needed to be plugged in and that it was okay, well it still doesn't work!! My husband told me that when he went back and found the counter one of the techs said "Why does it need to be replaced? That's not that bad of a scratch." That is none of his business, he is there to work on the units and not judge whether something needs to be replaced or not. Another said " how are we going to fix the TV jack, all the wires are in the walls and ceiling." I was furious about their carelessness, sloppiness and bad attitude!! I called the next day and asked for the service manager which I believe is Tammi and left a message telling her that we had some issues that were not happy with; needless to say she never called me back! This is the second Camping World we have had a bad experience with, the first was in Ohio, where we purchased the unit. They are making me feel like a chronic complainer which I am not it is just due to their lack of giving a *** about the customer! We still have an issue with one of the jacks leaking and they said they were going to order the part and call us however I refuse to take it back there, they are not touching this fifth wheel ever again. We will have to take it to another Camping World and hope that we might get better service! We are fortunate that my husband is very handy and he was able to fix the drain issue but we still have all of the other issues. Buyer Beware!!!!!!!

Same here! Our kitchen floor is being dug up by the kitchen slide.

Camping world Syracuse and Keystone could care less about it. We purchased this unit from Syracuse Camping world and I will never buy another unit from them our Keystone.

Camping World in Oakland GA SUCKS!

Ross and Heather Hi there! We just purchased a new 2016 top of the line Jayco Pinnacle 5th wheel from Camping World in Oakland GA. Not only do we have a bunch of issues with the fifth wheel but we also had one of worst experiences with a few of the Camping World staff as well a long day with tons of hiccups. We went to Camping World on my wife’s birthday 11-29-15 to look around and after looking at a few models we settled on the Pinnacle. We had previously visited the same Camping World when they were having their weekend sale and we spoke with the Jayco rep and he went through the whole line and explained a lot of the features your company has that others don’t as well as how well the product is made and your warranty. We chose to go with Jayco based on the rep as we will be living in the Pinnacle fulltime, so we wanted the stability and craftsman ship of Jayco. On 11-29-15 we put a deposit down on the unit and explained to the manager as well as the sales rep that we need the unit the next day. Waiting is not an option and that we would choose something different or go somewhere else if the unit would not be ready on that time frame. We were told that the unit would have at least four guys on it and any issues would be fixed and gone through before we even got there. Our appt time was 11 am; we purposely got there later to make sure the unit would be ready when we got there. We were told the day before we would be given a walk through with a tech and given a short tutorial of how to work the unit. The tech did an amazing job showing us how to work the unit. When we got there we were ecstatic as we have been saving for years to be able to do this move. However, after being at Camping World all day and problem after problem arising and people, acting like we were bothering them for legit problems we were finding. My husband asked for I owe you slips so we could have a tech come out and have the problems fixed. By 4:30 we had signed the papers and handed over our check and as soon as that happened it was like we were pieces of dirt after that happened. Honestly, we paid $67 thousand in cash through a cashier’s check from our bank and we shouldn’t be treated like *** weather we paid $500 or 1 mill but the point is as soon as they got paid it was like we were on our own and we were pests to them. Plus, right before the unit was set to leave; the warranty person came over and hassled my husband to sign an extended warranty and was threatening him that the price goes up after he steps out the door and that he had to sign a waiver before he left. After my husband explained to her that he was dizzy and starving not feeling good from not eating anything all day from being stuck there at the lot all day. We were told that Camping world was not responsible for any issues with the unit after we left the lot. We were to call Jayco for any other issues that had arrived. I myself asked the man that we signed the title papers with who we needed to call if problems were to arise. I mean come on it’s a new product things go wrong. Weather it’s a car, a sewing machine or an Rv; something is bound to eventually come up. So I wanted to know for myself who to call, after reading a liability form for the warranty; I asked the, man who I call if a problem were to come up. He looked at me square in the face and said I have no idea, ask your sales man! As he rudely rushed out of the room as I was asking another question. . It felt like a total slap in our faces.. This happened right after we gave them the check, do you see where I’m going with this. It’s like oh we will promise you the moon and stars until you pay and then we throw you out in the cold.. Not a great feeling ya know? Below is a list of the things we found wrong with the unit most of which my husband found while at the lot. However we have found a few more things since we have had the unit here in the campground. 1. The Carpet is loose and raised in the living room; we were told that they would need to keep the unit for an additional three days. Even after we explained to them we had no choice and we had to take the unit home that day. . 2. The top Ac unit was never check and the fuse had popped which again my husband caught and had to make the technicians take a look at it and replace the fuse as they were pushing him to leave the lot. 3. The living slide on the right side (passenger) was left open and got stuck. They wanted the driver to deliver it to us like that. We have no truck yet so we needed Camping World to deliver it to us. My husband had the delivery guy call the manager and he sent over a man who had to reset the slide and it works and comes in now. 4. Then after the slide was shut it was *** eyed and they still tried to pull the unit out of the lot. My husband said no way, fix it. We have no truck and can not just bring it back. 5. As they were leaving my husband noticed the unit didn’t even have a temp tag, which we asked for earlier in the day when we signed the papers for the title over to us. We were told they would absolutely give us a 45 day temp tag. However once again they dropped the ball. 6. My husband also found a crack in the kick plate going up the steps, the inverter for the refrigerator doesn’t even turn on, the garbage can drawer does not close at all( this was supposedly fixed as well on the lot ) , all the big rollers for the blackout shades do not work properly and those were supposed to be ordered and fixed as well. My husband received an I owe you tickets for those after they made a huge deal about giving him the tickets for each of those items he found . 7. Today we found scratches all over the counter on the island and the table in the kitchen; those were not found when we were on the lot. So I called to Jayco and reported those today. We know they are not from us as we have been putting towels down through the whole move in and we have place mats on the table. 8. In the hallway going to the bedroom the trim on the floor is cracked as well the door frame and the framing around the glass on the bedroom door is peeling laminate. We don’t feel we are asking for a lot here, we paid a lot for this unit and we worked hard to get the money to purchase it. We expect the quality we were promised and are very disappointed with the service from Camping world and all the problems arising with the unit. As far as Jayco is concerned, we are blown away with the unit as a whole. We love the woodwork as well as the design . Thank You Heather And Ross

Camping World - Fifth Wheel Rv Review from Blenheim, South Carolina

Took new 70 grand fifth wheel in for warranty repairs. Month later no repairs made, my fifth was filthy dirty and my battery was completely dead. Camp world sucks!!! Will never own any product camp world sells!!!! That was my second experience. First was even worse. Had four minor issues they had unit for 4 months. When i picked it up i had 15 problems and a huge gash in the front where they ran a forklift into it. I asked what they planned to do to fix damage they said nothing because warranty doesnt cover paint damage. Wtf??? Camp world is horrible. Why do people keep buying from them? Terrible company.

I will never use camping world again. Roy the customer service supervisor in rude. He talked to my wife like she was a peice of sh&@$t. I will tell every one I know never to go there. There is better places to shop if that's the people they have working for them. I've been waiting for management to call and they will not. I don't know what kind of business they are running but it's a scam. I encourage every one not to shop there. And they are a rip off. We been waiting for are rv cover for two weeks so we called and they told us it was on back order till the middle of February. I live in WI. I was hoping to get it on before it snows but they do not know how to communicate and are very rude. If I could I would give them a - 5 stare worst experience ever. Matt

Camping World in Denver, Colorado - Zero Gravity chair

Called about an ad I saw about a chair today, and the customer service person in that department acted like it hurt him to help me. Didn't have a skew number, but this item was in sale ad and was the only item with the name Stone Peak gravity chair. Do they not have computers there to look up item? He did not not even know wtf a zero gravity chair was. So said I would call when I got home to find skew on y computer and then see if in stock to view before buying. THEN, get home, to see that the so-called cyber monday price on the chair I was looking at at 1 am this morn had increased in price. Some cyber monday deal, and the customer service sux! Will NEVER EVER buy from this place!!!!!
