Does Camping World of Indianapolis Make Good On Customer Promises?

No, I purchased a motor coach October 31, 2015 and have yet to take delivery (but fully paid the asking price). Is there any way to get them to fulfill written customer promises without a lawsuit? My next stop is the Better Businerss Bureau and the Indiana Attorney General. Have asked to simply talk with the Corporate VP of Customer Service via several avenues to no avail. If anyone kinows how to make them good to their word, please let me know at personablefellow@outlook.com Thanks!

Camping World in San Martin, California - Misrepresentation of Day/Night shade fabric

We ordered a new night shade for our toy hauler. When it arrived, it looked nothing like the fabric sample online. The Camping world store in San Martin was no help at all, they referred me to customer service, because it was a special order. Customer service contacted the shade company and they sent a picture of the fabric we picked. I took a picture of the completed shade and sent it to Camping World. Their samples are a close up of the material, they don't show the whole pattern, what we thought was a criss-cross texture, turned out to be a bunch circles/water spots. There's no way the picture on-line comes close to the finished product. Anyone with common sense could see that. They offered a $30 dollar credit for a new shade, I don't think I should have to pay anything for their misrepresentation of the fabric. The shade was $80 +tax, so I asked, make it $40, we'll split it. No can do they said. They can sponsor NASCAR's Camping World Truck Series but can't cough up $10 more. They just lost a 17 year customer. And it's not just because of money, it's their refusal admit their mistake. I have Pan Pacific and See Grins RV right down the road. They will get my business from now on.

Camping World Gift Card Scam

2.7
Details
I returned a small propane hose valued at $10. and was told no cash refunds so they put the credit put on gift card. I went to use the gift card but it had a zero balance. I called and emailed them and Good Sam Club but no response. I believe maintenance charges to reduce the value to zero is illegal. This huge, rich company needs to be sued. Better to shop small and local. Now I need to enter at least 80 words. words, words, words.

Camping World in Jasper, Georgia - Bought a new toy hauler still don't have it after 35 days

Bought a NEW trailer, I found flaws before paperwork was signed, I was promised it would be repaired in a week. Time passed deadlines missed, the manager promised my unit to me to go put a grave marker on my fathers grave, THAT BALL WAS DROPPED. 35 days later, I still don't have my toy hauler and just found out the repair inside roof panels, microwave and other parts have NOT BEEN ORDERED YET!!! I have been lied to on my trailers status by everyone at the Woodstock, Ga. store. I wouldn't buy a rock from Camping World I was reatedly lied to, run far run fast from them. No service No customer service.

Camping World in Tulsa, Oklahoma - Poor Followup

I ordered a cover for my RV at the end of October. 3 weeks later, via email, I asked the status of the order and was told it was to be drop shipped by the manufacturer but was back ordered and would ship in 4-6 weeks. 6 weeks later, Via email, I asked the status of the order again and was told that my order was never passed to the manufacturer and that Camping World would process the order with the manufacture again, (11 weeks after the order was placed) Obviously, the person responding to my first email did not take the time to check on the status of my order.

Took my 1987 E250 Fiesta camper van into Jacksonville Florida, Camping World. My house battery was not getting recharged. Everything in the house worked on 12 and 120 volt. I was told I needed a new inverter and was charged over $600. Took it back when it was still not charging. After a 2hr wait I was told this model did not recharge the battery. $69 to be told this. So why did they sell me another inverter then? New inverter does nothing old one did. No way they would refund my money, they just charged me more to get my van back. Anyone out there know what it does? Some have n owners, or service manual they could copy this feature for me? Thanks

Camping World in Lake City, Florida - New Winnebago Vista

We purchased our second new Winnebago several months ago. We knew the Diamond Shield needed to be replaced and the dealer agree to do it. On the two hour drive home we found the in dash radio did not work. Once home we found the TV needed some work. Back to the dealer the next week, after a few days, the dealership called and told me a new radio would be ordered and the TV was fixed. We made the two hour trip only to find that now the outside TV did not work. We had to leave it another day. From the dealership we headed north for our first trip. The outside mirror on the driver side vibrates severely at 55 mph. The wood trim over the TV fell off. We soon learned that the vent in the rear bath would not open, and then the vent in the half bath would not open. The kitchen faucet drips when water is under pressure. The first night we found a broken light switch in the rear bath (no other light); the handle to open sofa bed was broken off. The sofa chair that folds out from sofa would not lock in upright position. The latch that holds the shade shut on screen door was missing. Then it rained and the water came in around the rear bath vent and water flowed in from under the sofa. At the end of the week we attempted to connect the dump hose and dumped black sewage all over the service compartment. After several attempts is was clear that the grey and black water system could not be used. This unit has been setting on the lot for at least nine months. Is there water damage in the roof or floor? How to we determine this and if it show up later… There is also the issue of prorated refunds for the previously purchased warranties from the Ocala Camping world. I was told eight weeks ago, I should see the check in about six weeks. I called the Lake City Camping World yesterday. I was told there is an open work order but no information on a radio being ordered. I was told the assigned service advisor would call me. This has been an extremely unpleasant experience. I did not realize Winnebago put such a low priority on quality control. I also cannot believe that after a month of rain this fall, the dealer did not realize this unit had water leaks.

Lake Park Georgia Camping World lies and cons

We currently have a 5 year old trailer that has some issues with it. We took it to our local camping world to have them tell us how much to fix the issues. They came back with about 2K worth of cost to fix the issues. I told them that I really would like to look at maybe trading our trailer for a new one but before looking at the first trailer it would all depend on how much they would give me for our current one. The sales Manager came and told us that with all the issues they found the most would be 11k. We told them that was an ok price not quite as much as we hoped but enough for us to look at a new one. They showed us some Jayco trailers and the manager told us that the weight showed on the trailer was with all the tanks full so you could *** about 900lb. So going along we pick out a Jayco that cost $27,595 an he said that since that was a higher end trailer he would give us 13K for trade. After doing some research on our own, we stated questioning the weight statement. We showed them where on Jayco's website it states their weight is with empty tanks. They said that they were wrong about the weight (wonder how many people were sold trailers under that ruse). Anyway we found another trailer that was a keystone and they gave us the price of $25,995. We said great the weight was under what we needed. They hand us the print out of the cost and it shows our trade in as $8,900. Really??? his explanation was we were picking out a cheaper trailer and he wouldn't make as much. So a $1600 difference in the two new trailers means a $4,100 difference in my trade in? Then on the bottom of the sheet is the $1600 in prep fee? So we asked what the heck is a prep fee. Sales manager told us that it was to make sure everything was working, fill our propane tanks and to give us a class on how to pull a trailer. Really we need to get charged to make sure a brand new trailer works???? and a driving class... we have been pulling a heavier, longer trailer for years. But he told us this was camping world policy and there was nothing he could do. There was also a $601 charge for documentation fee. Ok i know that car dealerships do that but usually around $500. JJ the sales manager comes back and says well if I lower the $1600 prep fee to $595, would we buy. Ok wasn't it just 10 minutes ago a Camping World Policy and there was nothing he could do??? Needless to say that we will never be visiting a Camping World again.
