We have looking at a travel trailer for a couple of months and finally decided to buy. We were very happy with our salesperson. We decided to decline the prep offer since this will be our 4th rv, our last being a new motor home. We aren' t new to the workings of an rv. Upon saying that, the SALES MGR.informed us that we would have to figure all the workings of the rv, no orientation, NO BATTERY, no hookup to our hitch, no propane. In the 4 other rv's we have purchased, we have never encountered such a ripoff ordeal. If this is the way Camping World does business, they dont need our business. I feel bad for our salesperson , becuase her sales mgr. blew the sale. Going to start looking elsewhere for our Rockwood travel trailor. Totally ridiculous sales tactics.

Sad to say this because I wanted to buy local, but CW was very rude when I tried to negotiate price the sales guy got puffed up and said "well if you don't need a battery and filled tanks.." so, we bought our Rockwood out of state.

I sell new Rockwoods.

I do it with a smile and respect, (we LOVE our customers) also free prep, walkthru, battery & propane. Also comes with a $40 credit in our store.

Been doing it that way FOREVER,

That's the only way we know.

Makes wonder if the toilet comes without flush, the dining table comes without legs, stove with burners???? Who ever heard of buying a brand new trailer without a battery?

???? Punishment for not purchasing the 995.00 pretty pkg.??????

Generator Problem caused by Camping World

I took my RV to camping world to have my extended warranty transfer to another RV, it had been inspected by camping world and passed. However, there was an issue they wanted to readdress, so I took it back in for a final inspection. At this time it was discovered that there was some damage on the side of the vehicle that happened while taking the vehicle into camping world, it needed repaired. So I left the vehicle with camping world for three months, when I got my RV Back and started up the generator in ran for 40 minutes then cut off. I did this several times with the same results, I had the generator worked on prior to the inspection so I know the generator was in great working shape. However, I don't think camping world exercised the generator while it was in their custody and as a result the generator gummed up or the fuel pump is clogged, now I have to pay another 2-3 hundred dollars to have this repaired. All of my emails to Camping World customer service in reference to this problem has gone unanswered. I will present the bill, once the Gen is fixed, to your office in hopes I can get a refund.

I returned a part for my trailer costing 299.99 and I paid cash well when I returned it the said they would have to put it on a card and I thought it would be right on there but no it will take 6 to 10 days so I called them and said for me to come in on Monday and get a check cause they don't keep that much in the till so I talked to the manager and he was about as us less as the come but he did say they should of given me the cash

Very dissappointed with this company. Its now been three weeks and still waiting for my order. They have told us three times it has been shipped and still nothing. Called customer service and they were very unhelpful. Now we are going on vacation without the item we paid for over three weeks ago. They tried to blame UPS and said UPS put the wrong address on the label. Thats *** because UPS doesn't put the labels on. Discussed with UPS man and he said he cpuld deliver it Saturday. We asked for two day delivery UPS and they said UPS doesn't deliver saturday which was another lie. We will never do business with this company again. When they made several mistakes and were totally unwilling to fix the problem. Now we are going away for two weeks and the product will sit outside of our house till we get home.

Camping World in Peoria, Arizona - Deceiving information before purchase.

Bought a used RV on lot in Avondale, AZ. Wanted one with awning. One they showed me had awning out, in place, so I assumed it was a working awning. Wrong! From day one it would not roll out. Took it back for them to check. It did not work for them either. But I bought 'as is', so they said I was out of luck for them to replace. I feel I was deceived when I purchased it, as I assumed from seeing it out that the awning worked. I feel there should be some sort of compensation, or even replacement by Camping World. They said after even talking to 'someone up in company' that they would not replace it for me.

Wow looks like you have black mold too ! Absoulty a shame especially if there are children involved.The moral thing to do is help find a resolution to this problem.Nobody should be sleeping in that probably in places you can't even see as well.Wish you all the luck.

Run, don't walk away from this Camping World. When we purchased a new motorhome in May 2015, two different extended warranties were also purchased. As a side note, when you purchase new, wait till the manafactures warranty is about to expire. You will save money in most cases. We traded in the motorhome in March 2016. We think we canceled one of the extended warranties, but haven't seen a refund. The other warranty Administered by Safe-Guard Warranty Corporation can't be refunded according to Safe-Guard. Even Camping World didn't know that. Now Camping World will not stand behind their brand make make things right by the customer. This is on top of our motorhome spending 5 months in the service department with only one critical item being repaired. We took the motorhome out of Camping World's service department and drove to a factory service center to have all the warranty items repaired and they even corrected what Camping World tried to repair. If you must shop at Camping World, go to a different store.

2015 Pioneer Camper Review

I took my BRAND NEW 2015 Pioneer camper in to (Camping World in Little Rock) have my refrigerator fixed. 2 months later I got it back with *** in the roof and a warped kitchen counter top. Worst customer service EVER !!! I DO NOT & WILL NOT recommend that sorry excuse for a company to anyone.
