Camping World lack of customer support

On 12/28/15 I ordered a Carefree of Colorado EZ blocker sun shade. Since it was December and the awning was rolled up with protectors installed, I felt safe ordering the one with the 8' drop. When I unrolled the awning, I measured the drop and found it was 10'. So the 9' drop sun blocker would work. I contacted Camping World customer service, explained this to them and told them the one I have HAS NEVER BEEN OPENED OR REMOVED FROM THE ORIGINAL PACKAGING. I asked to exchange the one I have for the one with the 9' drop. I was told this would not be possible because it was beyond 90 days since my purchase. Carefree of Colorado also refused to help me because I purchased the sun blocker through Camping World and not direct through them.

This is typical, can't expect a place to take something back after so long even if it's not used. If you were not going to use it for several months, you should have reviewed their return policies. Styles change, packaging changes, pricing changes, etc.

I paid cash upgraded was not informed on how fragel porley cheep built i pulled home. & called & emailed from 1st day so finaly they set me oppt to look at and then they wanted me to take back home so they could order parts i have 27 issues in 50 miles its been there before easter they called last week said done so we went to pick up and only a few pc blue tap was gone from repairs so i unloaded took off plate went in to sales managers office whe was not willing to healp told me to take or he was going to charge storage i have to go to washington now with out my rv & no & and all are food is bad now i have to spend moore $ on motels food & no rv more $ out my father is ill just hope i make it im already late another corperattion get the cash now and wait some people dont have time only live so long i purchased in january its almost been 5 months ? Math time 27 trips ×2 at. $100.00 and half day each time = 54 trips & 54 wasted days = leaving tusan to go to washington with no rv not good what call the news ? ??

sean was a competent salesman. good service tech sean (same name) also. tried bait and switch on predelivery service then threatened me with legal action when they didnt tell me i had a balance. happened on friday and they threatened a lawyer on sat. bring it on.they suck at customer service at the management level. clearly other reviews bear this out.

Purchased new 2016 toy hauler from camping world in October 2015. Big selling point was 130 locations nationwide. My experience with local people at store has been a circus. They have nobody that does what they are supposed to do. General manager just makes excuses for anything or anybody that works for him. My mistake was to buy trailer in fashion before I had to leave for work. They did not want to hold on to it for 2 weeks until I could return. Big deposit available. They had to make sell as store was new. Had to look good for corporate. Get camper home and prepare for travel. 2 of the a/c units will not come on. Scheduled 7 days ahead for app to get warranty work done. Get there and they said it oils be 4 days before they could look at it. Now I call and check on it and can not get through to service dept. have to wait on a call back from them. You know how that goes. If I had to do over I would purchase from another dealer. Not camping world.

Camping World in Salt Lake City, Utah - BED BUGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'M OUT 13K......

My name is Eli Burbank. I purchased my first trailer ever about 10-14 days ago from your Draper, UT location. It is a 2008 Jayco Jay Flight 28 BHS. I was very excited about the purchase, and deal that was being provided to me. I took it out for the first time this past weekend. I was very excited to sleep in it for the first time. As we were preparing to make our bed, we discovered a very significant bed bug infestation. I attempted to call the store yesterday and received no response back. I went to the store today only to be treated in a very un-compassionate and inconsiderate manner. I JUST SPENT 13K CASH ON A TRAILER WITH BED BUGS FOR GOD SAKES. What if that was you? What if you took your family out only to become fearful for their well being in even sleeping in the trailer and questioning whether or not it is even safe to do so? I wasn't offered with help in resolving the issue? I was offered a "detail" in which was half ***'d to begin with. A detail is not going to take care of bed bugs? I question how it wasn't noticed when doing the supposed PDI? I question if they did in fact notice it and proceeded with the sale anyway? I don't want my money back. I want a functional trailer in which I was planning on buying in the first place. I would appreciate some empathy and professionalism in resolving this very troubling manner. I realize "accidents" happen, IF that is what this was. I will be fair, so long as I am treated fairly. I hope this can be resolved in an ethical manner. I WOULDN'T BE ABLE TO SLEEP AT NIGHT IF I TURNED AROUND AND SOLD THIS TRAILER TO SOMEONE ELSE. Nor do I want my hard earned money going to waste. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE.

Having problems getting the right camper I bought. It is not the same one and we are in a tinzy because we had planned a week-end for me, wifey and grand kids. I have spoken now sorrowful as it is I will bring my lawyer into this deal and let God deal with this and my lawyer.

You will get NO help from them of this I can assure you .

You need to throw the mattress away and contact a professional exterminator . Your trailer is not ruined but it will be a costly experience ,

do yourself a favor STAY AWAY from Camping Worlds .

Will NEVER buy anything from the Camping World in Coburg, Oregon. Worst customer service I have ever received. We were camping and were without hot water in our 5th wheel. We had them install a endless hot water heater and it works fine for a couple trips and then it just quit working. Called the Service Manager several times leaving messages for him to call back. We have still not received a call from them. Had called a couple weeks ago regarding another issue we discovered before leaving on this last trip. Still no call back from about 2 weeks ago. Just a warning to all people thinking about going to the Coburg, Oregon store DON'T. Worst customer service ever.

Camping world stole are bathroom door and sold it to another customer. They lied to us and we're waiting for two months for simple repairs. That was last year. This year they have had are camper since November 15 and I still don't have are camper and its April 25 20016. They thought it was done so I went over to camping world and my camper had other things broken inside my camper that wasn't broken before the receive it. I would never buy from them again.

I drove 3 hours to put a new camper in a seasonal spot for a friend. It was dropped in the middle of the exit rd of campground for over a month. He had no way of moving it and luckily his son asked me. I got there and the battery was dead and 6point leveling system was dead! I have a 2011 Keystone Raptor and looking for a new unit..I WILL NOT BUY FROM CAMPING WORLD! I feel unit had this issue and just left it knowing such! I posted on FB pictures and what happened.

My husband and I purchased a 5th wheel from your Richmond, IN site. Though we are happy with the camper, we are not happy with the way we were treated. Just take our money and then dump us. We purchased vent covers and slider covers. When I called to set up a date to sign the papers and pick up the camper, I asked if that gave them enough time to do the work needed. I was told no problem everything would be ready. After several hours completing paperwork, we did our walk through. None of the work was done. Our salesman forgot to submit the work order. Then we were told our current 5th wheel hitch was not compatible and we needed to buy another. The accountant doing the paperwork said he had never seen any thing like this mess. He said we deserved at least a $100 gift card for putting up with everything. We bought the new hitch, had it installed, and said we would take the camper and wanted to have the rest of the work finished at the Greenwood, IN site which is much closer to us. They told us no problem. I waited for the gift card and was told we would not be getting one as they had done enough for us. I paid for everything I got. What did they do for us besides aggravation. After numerous calls we were finally told we could take it to Greenwood to be completed. When we dropped the camper off they acted like they knew nothing about it. I asked the person at the service desk if someone could show us where we need to attach the water filter that was in the drawer in the camper. He said we bought it from the Richmond site and they would have to show us. This is our third camper. The other two were from Tom Raper whom you bought out. They knew how to treat their customers with respect. I am thoroughly disgusted with the lack of compassion for your customers. Take their money and to heck them. I will wait for your reply in a timely manner. If I don't get this resolved I will let people know not to deal with you. Pam Kersey 859-653-0142

I wanted to buy a trailor. So i gave them my info and no one even called to tell me anything. If you are looking to buy one give your business to someone else. I dont know how you can run a business with out good customer service. Oh well i guess i will buy from someone else.
