Camping World Header Warranty Review from Lomita, California

In 2004, I purchased and had installed Gibson headers on our motor home. The headers had a limited lifetime warranty and the installation also had a lifetime warranty. In the first couple years, both sides blew their gaskets and had to be reinstalled while on the road. Camping World wouldn't do anything about it. Now the headers have failed and have breaks and cracks and the response from Camping World is they are no longer a Gibson Dealer so they won't do anything. I wouldn't trust Camping World to do anything major to the operating systems of your motor home as it is questionable wether they are qualified and they don't stand behind what the sell or their own lifetime warranty.

Bad everything from start to finish! They have had my camper for six months in the service department to fix warranty problems.no one will call you back' they lie about what has been done or not done. They blame the manufacture for everything. They are rude! they have had my camper longer than I have since I have owned it. Who in the heck ownes or runs this place? This place is a joke worst experience ever and talking to the bbb about the damage that was done to our camper while it was in for warranty work. They have had our camper for way more than two months off and on trying to get things done. When u get upset they tell they can't or won't work on ur camper that they damaged and side swiped while in there lot for service any longer , when we had to go to upper management at another location and so far just got a manager that was mad cause u went higher up the chain in managment. Don't go to Avondale service . And would never ever buy from them again has been the most stressful experience we have ever had. And just got a phone call saying your camper has been done for a week and how was ur service , we are in shock we were told last night our work isn't done and won't be done . Wow really organized company!!!!

Have tried for two weeks to get someone in service department to answer a call and or respond to voice message. 6 calls, three voice messages and no reply. Reception says " we are very busy and only one person in service department" got this reply on two occasions a week apart. Unbelievable, you would think that spring time would be the time to insure appropriate staff to provide some level of customer service. Needless to say I contacted local competitor and will be taking my RV to them today for the service I require.

Show up every other day during there busiest time. That's what I didn't. After 4 months and lots of lies they ended up delivering my rv to my house 45 miles away.

Camping World in Tucson, Arizona - Wrong Part

I was assured that the thermostat I was buying would work for my new RV a/c. I did take the part ( $120) and when it was to be installed I was told it was just a cover and that I need the replacement to switch from android to updated computer . I purchase the part in early April and returned it May 2. It was not 30 days. The manager said it is our policy not to return you money but give you a store credit? At no time or is it written on the sales receipt that electronics must be returned in 30 days. I told him you sold me the wrong part and it is under 30 days and I want my money returned. I had to continue with this manager for 5 to 10 minutes before he said. We do not do that but I will make an exception this time. Really you sold me the wrong part it is up to your company to make the situation right. I will never purchase from this company again. You are overpriced and have no concern for your customers. Not even a word about them selling me the wrong item. Beware of this company the customer is not always right or is never right.

worst costumer service ever~ took my camper a month ago to have the hot water heater to be looked at. we have the extended insurance that should cover that. They called us with an estimate for something we didn't even want to be looked at. now, can not get anyone to even answer the phone. I was told that they will NEVER answer the phone number that is listed online ~ to put in extension 1122~ at least that extension had a answering machine, which didn't help~ I have no idea if they fixed anything or not~ I know from my insurance company that they have not been contacted about our camper. Folks, If you have any other choice go there, Do NOT come to camping world for service.

Scheduled for my motorhome to get some work done. Told me specific day and time to drop it off (which I was right on time). First ended up leaving at a locked gate because they would have anyone open the gate. Then was told would have an estimate in a day or two before repairs were made. After several un-returned phone calls stopped in a week later to be told they were backed up and hadn't even looked at it yet. After another week stopped in again and they were just pulling it in. Still no estimate. After more un-returned calls another visit to say they had already fixed some of it but, but were still waiting on parts list to finish estimate. Then they ordered parts that can't get and now have to order new. Been over a month now and still don't have my RV back. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE AND WORST PRICING FOR REPAIRS. Have a 6" crack in a white fender and they wanted $2000 to fix it. WILL NEVER GO BACK IF I EVER GET IT BACK.

Camping World in Draper, Utah - Unfair trade in allowences

We purchased a 2012 keystone Laredo from camper world, draper, eight months ago. It is a fifth wheel and the steps to the bedroom are steep, Bought the trailer in Sept of last year in October I had to have back surgery, so I have to use a walker. Called the dealership and told them I needed a travel trailer because the stairs were a nightmare, I Paid $35,000 for it eight months ago ,they came back and told me the price would be out of the kindness of their little hearts they were going to give me the whooping price of $22,000 really it depreciated $13,000 in eight months. It's a 2012 it should have had all the depreciation already. plus they tacked on $2,300 tire protection, Good Sam for $1,000 and another extended warranty for $2,100 we didn't ask for. Read your paper work be for you sign anything.

read the paperwork on the extended warranty, GoodSam and the tire protection, you might be able to get a prorated refund on those. Some companies allow this, but not all.

Camping World lack of customer support

On 12/28/15 I ordered a Carefree of Colorado EZ blocker sun shade. Since it was December and the awning was rolled up with protectors installed, I felt safe ordering the one with the 8' drop. When I unrolled the awning, I measured the drop and found it was 10'. So the 9' drop sun blocker would work. I contacted Camping World customer service, explained this to them and told them the one I have HAS NEVER BEEN OPENED OR REMOVED FROM THE ORIGINAL PACKAGING. I asked to exchange the one I have for the one with the 9' drop. I was told this would not be possible because it was beyond 90 days since my purchase. Carefree of Colorado also refused to help me because I purchased the sun blocker through Camping World and not direct through them.

This is typical, can't expect a place to take something back after so long even if it's not used. If you were not going to use it for several months, you should have reviewed their return policies. Styles change, packaging changes, pricing changes, etc.

Camping World Rv Repair Review from Biola, California

I paid cash upgraded was not informed on how fragel porley cheep built i pulled home. & called & emailed from 1st day so finaly they set me oppt to look at and then they wanted me to take back home so they could order parts i have 27 issues in 50 miles its been there before easter they called last week said done so we went to pick up and only a few pc blue tap was gone from repairs so i unloaded took off plate went in to sales managers office whe was not willing to healp told me to take or he was going to charge storage i have to go to washington now with out my rv & no & and all are food is bad now i have to spend moore $ on motels food & no rv more $ out my father is ill just hope i make it im already late another corperattion get the cash now and wait some people dont have time only live so long i purchased in january its almost been 5 months ? Math time 27 trips ×2 at. $100.00 and half day each time = 54 trips & 54 wasted days = leaving tusan to go to washington with no rv not good what call the news ? ??
