My husband and I just purchased a 2016 Highland Ridge Open Range 3X. The purchase was horrific! Not because of the manufacturer but due to the dealer. We are totally over the moon with our 5th wheel! I had to call their customer service. I dealt with Jessica. I sell BMW'S for a living. I know what a premium experience should be and she did a heck of a job. The craftsman ship of our 5th is excellent. I would not hesitate to buy again. Just don't shop CamperWorld in Fairfield, Ohio!

Camping World - Horrible Service

Camping World of Hanover has horrible service. They had our camper for 10 months when there was only 8 hours worth of warranty servicing to be completed. We gave them a printed list of all the work that needed to be completed and everything was still not completed. They only told us that things were not done after we drove 2 hours to pick up the camper after they said it was finished. They broke the plastic casing around the wires underneath our slide out. They left it dangling there hoping we wouldn't notice. We had to personally get under the camper to tape the casing back together so the wires were not exposed. When it came time to pay our bill at the counter, the two cashiers were talking to each other and ignored us for twenty minutes as we stood there. They do not return phone calls. They are unprofessional. Camping World will never get my business ever again. If anyone wants proof of how unprofessional they are, leave me your email and I can send you copies of their emails and the pictures of the uncompleted work. Brian in Service is the worst employee. Do not trust him.

I was back in Florida before it revealed itself. LIARS.

Camping World in Chattanooga, Tennessee - Campground

We are full time RV'ers and love to travel to different campgrounds, with summer here and the joys of having our grandchildren joining us were very exciting for us, however we found out that Camping World in Chattanooga TN will not be opening their swimming pool, why have a beautiful campground that has a pool but not open it??? Many disappointing campers and I will surely pass on to all our camping friends that this is a complete shame and to find another campground, People traveling in the summer in campgrounds look for campgrounds that have pools I hope this campground loses many campers!!!!!!! OPEN THE POOL!!!!!

I was just recently at Camping World in Richmond Indiana and I have had it with that store. It is like no one knows what is going on and they can't answer questions. I called on a Tuesday to find out the cost of propane and was told the price. I asked what time they closed and was told 7pm. So the next day (Wednesday) I arrived at the store at 5:30pm to have my propane tanks only to be informed that they don't fill them after 5pm. No where like on the doors stating the store hours does it say they don't fill tanks after certain hours. There is also a sign on the counter talking about fill propane tanks but it doesn't state certain hours either. This store has some of the worse customer service. I have been in there 4 weekends in a row preparing for a vacation and every time I asked a question the person could not answer it or would push me off on to someone else and that person could not answer me. The store employees act they can't leave the counter they just point when you ask where something is and then I still can't find it cause they told me the wrong place.

Camping World in Houston, Texas - Don't buy their "protection plans"!!! Waste of money!

Bought a surge protector in April 2015 + 2-year protection plan. Item malfunctioned within manufacturer's 1 year warranty so was replaced by manufacturer. Protection plan won't be adjusted to cover NEW surge protector for 2017-2019 as should be after new manufacturer's warranty expires in 2017 and won't refund because it's been active for one year. Coverage will now only be for one year (2017)....because item is DOUBLE covered for year of 2016 and if it malfunctions again, who will replace it? Manufacturer or Insurance company? What a scam! Camping World is really good at pushing issue off on to next person. DO NOT BUY THEIR PROTECTION PLAN! Lost customer here

This is typically the way any protection plan works -- Square Trade, best buy, extended warranty, etc.

Camping World Header Warranty Review from Lomita, California

In 2004, I purchased and had installed Gibson headers on our motor home. The headers had a limited lifetime warranty and the installation also had a lifetime warranty. In the first couple years, both sides blew their gaskets and had to be reinstalled while on the road. Camping World wouldn't do anything about it. Now the headers have failed and have breaks and cracks and the response from Camping World is they are no longer a Gibson Dealer so they won't do anything. I wouldn't trust Camping World to do anything major to the operating systems of your motor home as it is questionable wether they are qualified and they don't stand behind what the sell or their own lifetime warranty.

They have had my camper for six months in the service department to fix warranty problems.no one will call you back' they lie about what has been done or not done. They blame the manufacture for everything. They are rude! they have had my camper longer than I have since I have owned it. Who in the heck ownes or runs this place? This place is a joke worst experience ever and talking to the bbb about the damage that was done to our camper while it was in for warranty work. They have had our camper for way more than two months off and on trying to get things done. When u get upset they tell they can't or won't work on ur camper that they damaged and side swiped while in there lot for service any longer , when we had to go to upper management at another location and so far just got a manager that was mad cause u went higher up the chain in managment. Don't go to Avondale service . And would never ever buy from them again has been the most stressful experience we have ever had. And just got a phone call saying your camper has been done for a week and how was ur service , we are in shock we were told last night our work isn't done and won't be done . Wow really organized company!!!!

Have tried for two weeks to get someone in service department to answer a call and or respond to voice message. 6 calls, three voice messages and no reply. Reception says " we are very busy and only one person in service department" got this reply on two occasions a week apart. Unbelievable, you would think that spring time would be the time to insure appropriate staff to provide some level of customer service. Needless to say I contacted local competitor and will be taking my RV to them today for the service I require.

Show up every other day during there busiest time. That's what I didn't. After 4 months and lots of lies they ended up delivering my rv to my house 45 miles away.

Camping World in Tucson, Arizona - Wrong Part

I was assured that the thermostat I was buying would work for my new RV a/c. I did take the part ( $120) and when it was to be installed I was told it was just a cover and that I need the replacement to switch from android to updated computer . I purchase the part in early April and returned it May 2. It was not 30 days. The manager said it is our policy not to return you money but give you a store credit? At no time or is it written on the sales receipt that electronics must be returned in 30 days. I told him you sold me the wrong part and it is under 30 days and I want my money returned. I had to continue with this manager for 5 to 10 minutes before he said. We do not do that but I will make an exception this time. Really you sold me the wrong part it is up to your company to make the situation right. I will never purchase from this company again. You are overpriced and have no concern for your customers. Not even a word about them selling me the wrong item. Beware of this company the customer is not always right or is never right.
