Very unprofessional, rude, do not email or call you back..If they think they can't make a sale they won't give you the time of day..Live chat customer service is clueless and really don't care.Leave a salesman messages and they won't call back.Submitted a credit app. over the computer like John told us to, called several times and never received a phone call back.Called customer service and they didn't know anything, just kept telling us that someone would get back to us shortly, that never happened..so if say you get turned down for a loan, they won't let you know..*** poor way to run a business.

Camping World Coleman Rv Review from Lakeland, Florida

My husband purchase a Coleman camper brand less than 2 years ago for work travel. Now the roof has pealed back (the wood framing) camping wont cover it, even though we bought their extended warranty and plus a 12years roof warranty through what was told to us with coleman. Later to find out its a third party instead. Well the insurance wont cover because its been declared a factory default!!! We are suing but camping world of Tallahassee Florida oh and did i mention the japanese pistol stolen from our camper while in their repair center. And we will file sue agianst coleman for their "lemon" of a camper. We had to also return it less than week after the purchase because the slides where broken... but dont they inspect them? So if anyone has similarly issues and would like to join us. We wont be the little guy that gets swiped under the rug!

I have a 2 year old Coleman RV from camping world. long story short .....TODAY my insurance is paying $1199.00 to repair the roof.

Let me tell you. I would NEVER EVER buy anything from Camping World or from Coleman.

2 year came that still smells new and I have to have the whole front end and roof ripped off and repaired?!?!??! Stay away from Camping World and Coleman.

I purchased a new camper and the Indy Boat and RV show this year. We had great service from our sales person, but things rapidly declined after the sale. When we went to pick up our RV, we took time off work to avoid the weekend rush at their recommendation. We arrived early for our appointment, but 2 hours AFTER our appointment....not a word!!!! Absolutely terrible customer service and the manager clearly does not know how to run this facility for customers AFTER they have made a purchase. I will NEVER recommend this place to anyone and never service my RV there

Camping World Rv Repair Review from Phoenix, Arizona

Me and my family purchased a used toy holler from the camping world in Avondale Arizona about a year and a half ago, we have had every problem known to mankind with it. I had my brakes inspected by a different RV place today and they told me that the brakes on my trailer were completely unsafe and then I put my family in danger towing it the way it was. I asked camping world to check the brakes when we bought it because ther was a wire hanging not connected to anything they told me that they were extra wires. Today the place checking my brakes told me that I never had brakes on that side of the trailer EVER, I called to see if they would do anything and they basically told me to kick rocks. I will never set foot in a camping world again and my next purchase will be from a competitor

Camping world Hamburg, NY. Worst customer service ever, don't know how they are still in business. Stood in line for 25 mins. because the cashier didn't know what she was doing, when I could no longer wait I put my stuff on the floor and walked out when i got outside my 13 year old son informed me that one of the employees called him rude, he didn't say it to me, I went back in the store and confronted him, he said that was rude I informed him I waited in line for 25 mins.and don't you think that's rude and proceed to tell him what I thought of him. When i called the manager he had a mouth worst then the employee I will never buy a thing from them again and I am telling all my friends the same.

Camping World Service Agreement Review from Columbus, Ohio

NO refund and NO return call from Scott Ryan of campingworld about my refund. Its been over 2 weeks. They know how to TAKE YOUR MONEY BUT NO HURRY TO REFIND IT. its funny how they say things have to go thru good sam club(GSC) BUT when i called GSC to cancel and get that $2500 back after i bought the camper GSC told me i had to call CAMPINGWORLD for cancellation of service agreement. That they had nothing to do with the money part jist the service. I WANT MY REFUND. ALL OF IT. IT SHOULD BE OVER $1700

You MIGHT get it back in 3 months but I wouldn't hold my breath.

Good Sam & camping world are all rolled up in the same evil empire, They DON'T like refunds & go to great lengths to avoid them.

I recently inquired about a 5th wheel in Columbia SC. Was wanting to trade in a '15 5th wheel. Dealer offered me 20,000 trade. Was not pleased. Didn't continue the deal. A few days later went to Camping World in N.Charleston. I again inquired about the same make and model as I had looked at in Columbia. Better price. Since I had bought my current 5th wheel from this location I figured I'd get a better offer on my trade. BUT instead they offered my $13000 for my trade. They actually showed me trade value was at least $23000. Don't understand the way they can do business.

Sales department great. Just don’t take your RV to their service department.

Go to Myers or Rocky Mountain for service. They will lie to your face at this Good Sams service center.

If you do go there don’t bother with an appointment just stand in line and hope they even look at your RV within a week or so. I have made appointments and they don’t mean anything

As an update: Sorry it took me a couple weeks to update. We obtained recordings of the mechanic who worked on the rv on the road, saying he added the fluid. The rapid response team got ahold of us the morning we wrote this review. The entire issue was resolved in about two weeks. All they needed to do was replace the inverter and put a new piece of linoleum down. They did not replace the board so that rotted and we have to replace that and the linoleum now. I still believe the only reason this was turned around is that we obtained evidence that we didn't add the fluid. That still makes me very leary. A reported issue two hours after driving off the lot should be fixed, no questions asked unless there was obvious sabotaging. I was and still am dissapointed in that but we move on. The RV has not had any issues since that we know of ;). The final end to the story was that the mechanic didn't want to pay for his mistake and Good Sam said they would no longer request his services. Travis from Down Time Mobile Mechanic likely lost the majority of his business because he wouldn't just buy a new inverter that he probably could have gotten for $250. A final note- sorry, it was odd that Camping World wanted $1000 for plugging in a $250 inverter (approximately); and we had to demand they remove the wording that we added hydraulic fluid because we did not (on the invoice) even after all was said and done. I felt like that was sneaky and I'm glad we caught it.
