Camping World in Prince Frederick, Maryland - Cannot Use Coupons On Line

I received a $25 coupon when we renewed our Good Sam membership. When I went to use it online a message came up that it was invalid to use with this purchase. When I called to check this out I was told that I had to use it as a type of rebate. In other words, I could purchase the item/s and then send in the coupon or I could go to a store (only 1 1/2 hours away). The website clearly has a box to list any coupons available. I filled in a complaint on their website but was told the same thing. Nothing on the coupon says it has to be used in store or as a rebate. They have gotten my last membership fee.

Madison WI Camping World is horrible. DJ in particular is a very rude, condescending, unprofessional salesman. Drove an hour and a half, cash in hand to buy a camper and was told that cash is unimportant and we shouldn't have told him we could pay it outright because they make more money if you finance from them. Because of DJ they lost a client for life and we will be sure to spread the word about their awful sales tactics and rude behavior. He kept pushing us to tell him we would buy it without even giving us any final numbers. The buying experience should be fun, not forceful. When we took a walk to look at the camper again and to talk about our offer another couple started looking at the same camper we were to buy. The other salesman showing it to the other couple asked if we needed help and we told him we buying that camper and were working with DJ and he immediately ran back inside to talk to DJ. That's when all of a sudden DJ's whole demeanor changed even worse than it already was and he told us "Oh I know them. They're here to buy it. He has his license out and money in hand." Then all of a sudden our offer didn't even matter. We realized that our offer was never even considered or looked at and that he would contact us if the other deal didn't go through while we were still sitting there with a valid offer on the table. This told us that we meant nothing and that he would lie, discredit and be disloyal to anyone he could. Before the other couple even looked at it he tried forcing us to buy it by signing a scribbled out offer on a customer info sheet. Sorry but that seems a little backwards and shady to me. First tell me if they accept the offer and then I'll sign a legit bill of sale. What a horrible, horrible experience and don't ever deal with a guy by the name of DJ who works at the Madison Camping World.

Camping World in Hillsboro, Oregon - Do not buy here!!! OUTRAGEOUS PRICES!!!

Absolutely do not buy a RV at this location.They don't care about customer service at all. Absolutely horrible!! Do yourself a favor and shop around. Their prices are thousands of dollars more than other dealers for the exact same trailer. The EXACT SAME! And if you call them out on their prices, they aren't real nice about it. Haha. Seriously, price around before you buy- you'll be really happy you did. Go to a smaller dealer and get much better service and save a ton of money in the process. Do not recommend this place at all.I'm still shocked at their prices, absolutely shocked.

I bought a 30 thousand dollar trailer and my grill was stolen from camping world employees before they delivered it. When they finaly sent me a grill 3 months later, they sent the wrong bracket and no gas conector. Also my 30 thousand dollar trailers electronic awning dont work. Brand new trailer mind you also has a short in the island kitchen led night lights. The doors are off center so they dont shut. And all I got from camping world is a run around and alot of voicemails with unreturned calls. I paid alot of cash for a new trailr and this is the *** I get.

Had my trailer in for service and they stoled the two propane tanks and said they were not there when I brought in the trailer. Also when I pickup the trailer they lost the keys and said I didn't give them any when I dropped it off?

They sent me only the front door lock, and I can't use it because the electric plan door is locked.

They would only send one lock and said that I would have to buy the 7 other locks needed for my trailer. We need to lock these a---holes out of our lives forever.

We purchased a Springdale Travel Trailer in May of 2015 from Oxford AL CW. After our first few trips (about 700 miles) my trailer brakes had a continual squeak and it appeared that the toilet down pipe was installed too long (the paper would build up into the pipe regardless of how much water I added). I expressed my issues to the service person and he immediately began to explain to me that I just did not know how to use a black tank. He said I should fill it half way when setting up on the campsite! What!? This is bogus! I never had this issue with my other Springdale. It is obvious that my down spout is only about 2" off the bottom of the tank. He refused to look at it! I then explained my continual brake squeak. He said (without looking at it) that my brake pads needed tightening. I'm no brake genius but it seems that they might be too tight if the brakes are continually squealing after only 700 miles. When I picked up the trailer they charged me labor! May I remind you that it was only a few months old. Immediately the brakes seemed too tight. I brought it to their attention and they said they were suppose to drag a little. Well... after 800 more miles my brakes were burned completely up. I carried it in and almost a month later they had the gaul to charge me for the $2000 brake job. Replaced the drums, hubs, back plates and the shoes. The trailer was only 9 months old! I asked should not this be under warranty and they said I had the brakes too tight (uh didn't they supposedly service my brakes 800 miles ago??) Now I have a rear tire on one side that is wearing extremely on the inside. I had them check for axle issues. They said all was well and charged me for a new tire. Now I have put 1400 miles on the new tire and its almost gone again. They have checked it twice and still continue to say all is well. Might I say all is not well. I strongly warn you not to deal with these people unless you are ok with being belittled with each issue you have and are willing to pay for what should be under warranty.

We got our camper at the Harrisburg rv show from camping world in 7501 Allentown Blvd Harrisburg Pa 17112. We're having trouble with the service department. WE got a recall on the windows and having trouble with the air conditioning. It was delivered to us at Raytown in PA.we are unable to tow, it's sitting on a permitted spot, with a deck. Bought a travel trailer from them exactly 1 year ago. BRAND NEW! Having problems with it since day one. Now i have multiple problems with it. They tell me cant get it in till later in june. You will have to wait and see what we can do about fixing it. All they care about is getting the check from me and driving away! Customer service is ***! I will never ever buy from them again! Don't buy from them please! Not friendly at all. They just want your money and you get nothing in return except frustration and anger! DONT GO HERE!!!

There needs to be a lemon law passed thru the state that helps customer deal with Camping World. They know that there is no law and they can lie and tell you anything they what. God will be the one that will judge these bad people and this company is run by a CEO that's the devil.

When we had a tire issue, unfortunatly campingworld on albequerque, nm did not have our tire size in stock being sunday and a holiday weekend could not get tires till tuesday, i was told they would call there supplier first thing on tuesday morning, when i called at 15 minutes after they had not called yet. I asked them to please call me after checking with the supplier so we could get loaded and checked out of our campsite. After an hour snd 15minutes i called back as i had not recieved a call, the response was Oh yes hour tires were ordered and should be here in about 20 minutes. We packed up check out and got right over to the store. It took 30 minutes for the rep to get his computor going type everything up review the trailer, and list all we needed. When completed he walked the paperwork over to the repsir desk, while waiting we strooled the store thsn had a seat to wait for them to call our name as they had not taken any keys, my husband and son walked to the service desk to see how long they would be, when we were informed we where not even checked in yet, this was about 45 minutes after the rep walked the paper work over. It has been another 45 minutes and our rig has not moved. Of the few campingworld centers we have visited, this one has been the worst for service. I would rate this at about a half star

Not defending Camping World, don't like them, BUT the last place you take an RV, (any RV) for tires is an RV dealership.

Any Tire dealer would be a better alternative then any RV dealership.

Where would you take your car if you had a tire issue? A car dealership?

NO

You go to a tire store. A Walmart tire and automotive store would even work.

I had called Scott Ryan to check on the refund I'm owed and left a message. He didn't bother to return my call. I called back abd he now said that he told me this could take a month to get my money refunded. What a LIE. HE TOLD ME 2 WEEKS. NOW HE SAYS GSC IS BEHIND IN GIVING REFUNDS. GSC TOLD ME IN THE BEGINNING I HAD TO GET THE REFUND FROM THE DEALER. This campingworld from my experience with them. They are crooked, liars and thieves run by sleezy scammers. Worst liars and cheats ever. I dont know if ALL are this way but i wouldn't ever give my business to any campingworld EVER.
