I bought a toy hauler from camping world Avondale on approximately 6 15 2016 brought home two days later air conditioning quit working I have called their service department multiple occasions left several voice messages they were supposed to contact me and just let me know what to do a week later still no phone calls so I ended up contacting another RV dealer here in Phoenix and they advise me on what to do to get the AC working so as others have said once the sale is done Camping World will not interact with you whatsoever

They don't care it will catch up with them but before that happens a lot of good people will get a bad deal

What I forgot to mention in the post about my toy hauler was the sales department Second To None best experience ever but service they refuse to have any interaction with you once the sale is done

I will have to say I'm quite disappointed with this company!! I have dear friends who had planned on spending this summer traveling and enjoying retirement but after a trip to your Jackson, MS store all their dreams were shattered!! I know a sweet elderly couple went to look at a Class C RV but they were talked into a 5th wheel. The store assured him he could pull this particular 5th wheel with the slide they were recommending with his truck without any difficulties. Doesn't sound so bad right... it would have worked out okay except the store placed the WRONG slide in the truck not once but several times. The first time he drove his new RV with the wrong slide it slammed into the back cab and dented his brand new truck. So now you have a brand new truck with several holes in the bed and huge dents in the cab. Oh yeah I forgot to mention they drove a couple hundred miles to go to this store.. Of course being an engineer he called the manufacture of the slide and was told he should have NEVER been placed in his truck. They have made several trips to try to have these errors fixed to no avail. This retired engineer now has a brand new truck with dents and holes and an RV parked at his house. Unfortunately the stress of this situation has taken a significant toll on their health and well being. So buyers beware if you are over 70 and go to the Jackson MS store be careful.

Bought a new Heartland Pioneer RG28, love the camper. When they placed the 2016 decal on the model, they put it right over the decal stripe, when they were prepping it, they pulled and tore the decal. So they had to order two new decals, which had to be approved by Heartland, then ordered. They told me they would call when they came in. Well, about six weeks later, I get a call they are in. I set up an appointment and told them about a couple other small things requiring attention under warranty, was told they could look at, and make those repairs while the unit was there. When I get it there on appointment day, I am told they will take care of the decals, but the other items needed to be approved, which could be a few days. I explained to the service girl I was over an hour away. I have to take the day off from work, use a little over a 1/4 tank of fuel, each time I return. She acted like oh well, that's the way it goes. I told them to take care of the decals only, I will not be returning. My appointment was at 11:00 am, so it took a half a day to complete two decals. So you be the judge, is that good service? Never again, other fish in the lake

STAY AWAY FROM CAMPING WORLD in KINGSTON, NY!!!

I had the same problem with the service department at the Camping world in Kingston. They put together a tow dolly that I bought brand new and did a totally shoddy job. One ramp was off center and several of the bolts weren't tightened correctly. Luckily the one main bolt that holds the wheel plate which they failed to tighten didn't come totally lose. I recently tried to get them to adjust the ramp and they want to charge me. They also broke a sky light on my RV sometime in the past three years when we had it serviced and quickly patched it and never told me. When I finally discovered it they pulled the old "how do we know you didn't break it." Poor service and Marcus never got back to me after I wrote him. STAY AWAY FROM THEM UNLESS YOU LIKE SHODDY WORK, POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND SPENDING MORE MONEY TO GET THE STUFF THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO FIX DONE RIGHT!!!

Camping World Ft Myers / Unprofessional, disrespectful staff

Had the step motor on my coach replaced 7 months ago and now that it has failed they refuse to stand behind it. They want me to go back to the manufacturer. I ended up paying $467 to them replace the step motor they replaced 7 months ago. The service writer was rude, uncaring, unprofessional and very disrespectful.. Does not know the meaning of customer service and she was incensed that I continued to demand to be treated like a customer. When we tried to talk she would get louder and talk over us never listening. She finally told us twice to sign the ticket and get out of her service department. I would love to use her name but that wouldn't be right. I have talked to her service manager and emailed the General Manager without response. After dealing with this Camping World since 2003 for all my repairs and RV items this was a learning experience. If you want the work done by someone who will stand behind it and values your business, go somewhere else. Will never go back.

All the camping world people are form Mars and they don't have any back bone. There must be a class that they teach to there people to act like its the customer fault if anything goes wrong.

We need to have the lemon law put into effect so these people will held accountable. Good Luck to any sucker that buys anything thing from these people.

Run, DO NOT TAKE YOUR RV TO CAMPING WORLD in Savannah Ga. Parts will be ordered incorrectly or not at all. Nothing, nothing will be done or delivered as scheduled. We even recorded our final scheduling conversation and I'll be damned if they didn't try to cover up and deny until the conversation was played back. Liars from supervisory to desk staff. Go elsewhere.

I took my motor home in for an oil change and some diagnostics. The bill was over $500. without any work being done except the oil change. The did however, do about 8 additional diagnostics that I didn't request, free of charge, to get more business! Plus they had my motor home for two weeks and I could NEVER reach them by phone! NEVER USE THIS COMPANY!!!

Camper world of Dothan has to be the worst company around. Larry Williams had our RV motor home for 14 months and never did anythings but give us excuse as to why the rige had not sold . We did everything to the rig he asked of us. We never had phone calls returned. The rig was removed from Camper World by us and it sold in 2 days. Please stay away from these folks at all cost

Now you know why he is unlovingly called " Lying Larry".

many people have been burned by him over the years.

he sold boats before rvs and had just as many boat customers hating him for his deceptive ways. He is in his element at camping world because he can lie,cheat and steal at will with no repurcusions . Do your selves a favor and avoid camping worlds bigger is not better when it comes to rv dealerships .

This for George Hill of Bryon Camping World.

George was the first to say welcome and the last there after hours to help.

George Hill was so patient with my window shopping time. Took me to different floor plans and décor.

The day was long but George tried to keep things moving.

Zak was good on the paper work and trying to get me the best deal'

But the true person is George Hill, the one who stayed after hours to help transfer items from Old Camper to New Camper. The old camper was moved of the lot and had to be retrieve. George was with us to 9 at night where everyone left. George does not have the pushy sale man mannerism.

It was like meeting a new friend at first meeting and knowing right away it will be a comfortable relationship. Sincere and Thanks for going all the extra steps you performed.
