I bought my first and last RV from camping world of Syracuse NY this place just wants to sell with no service,I had a tail light problem on my toy hauler so what they did in short was cut the wire to two of the tail lights so now I only have left and right lights and not the led light I am suppose to have across the rear of trailer will never take any thing to them I'll fix it my self yours Steven Volles Fayetteville NY

Camping World in Council Bluffs, Iowa - A lesson in humility

It is too long to go into detail but hey did not have camper ready the days it was supposed to be and had a week advance notice, then the day I arrived to pickup they were still working on it so I had to wait another 3 1/2 hours before leaving. The walk through was rushed so they could skip stuff that might require explination. Before even getting home ( 3 hour trip home ) had tire come apart, next morning A/C does not work and when I go up on roof fine where they had used (looks like 20 tubes of chalking) to cover where rubber roof is separating from front fiberglass cover where now the rubber is starting to lift from the wind and the chalking they used did not have time to dry. Tried to call them and the saleman who I dealt with is so busy with customers to deal with me. A chain outlet does not mean they are better it just means they can screw more people over.

Never use camping world! Never had these issues with Amazon!!!

A few weeks ago we ordered some camping carpets online, we have the receipt that shows taxes and fee's & shipping charges should have been 0. When we received the shipment there was an additional $45 USD per box which is approx $70 CDN thats an additional $140 on a $200 order. We order a ton of items via Amazon.com and have never experienced this type of issue. What can be done to resolve this? We like the product that was shipped just have a major issue with the extra fees. After reaching out to campingworld.com representatives they told us that they have no control over any additional fee's Tammy - Supervisor For Customer Serivce basically told me that there is nothing that can be done and that the fee's are what they are.... Unbelievable customer service. I would never suggest anyone ever order from campingworld.com.

Camping World in Springfield, Missouri - Tired of waiting and poor service.

I purchased an rv from Greenwood camping world. They said they checked everything and was in working order. I had to wait a week to pick it up to find that they were still washing it and cleaning the carpet. Took it home, set in driveway for 3 days and left for short vacation. Then is when I found that my air conditioner is not working, had to get hotel. Took it to a camping world near my home and they said that the a/c was not repairable and hasn't worked for a while. I was told to bring it back to Greenwood for repair. I have heard every reason under the sun why it is not been looked at in the shop. I bought this 38 days ago, couldn't use it and has been in the shop over 30 days. I will never buy here again. Unhappy/ frustrated/mad.

Camping world of Albuquerque stole $1200 from me, they said i had to have an inspection on rv I bought, then I get it home, first time i go to use it electric jacks are broken, called them said it was still under warranty since i had it less then a yr and took it in then they look at it say jacks are broken n charge me another $146 for 1 hr of labor they are rip offs!!!

We bought a Coleman Rv 2 months ago from Canping World in Strafford,mo and got it home and don't think anything about it but a few weeks went by and we pulled to a state park in Missouri and our sewer hit the speed bumps and now to get in our driveway we have to put boards down two different places. We took the camper in to have them fix the sewer and Camping world and Dutchman refuse to fix it. This is so irritating it we can't even take the camper out to go camping because it hits on the sewer. Also it took camping world in strafford,Mo 2 weeks for them to tell us yes they were going to fix it and then call me 2 weeks later to tell me no one was going no to fix.

Directed to Camping World, Jackson, MS. Loading up the Winnebago for a one month trip with our Grandson to Yellowstone only to find out A/C does NOT work. Jimmy Humphrey (service Mgr) treated our problem as an emergency. Not only did he get us in right away, his assistant, Drew initiated the paperwork along with Katlyn A. to get the A/C covered under warranty. Floor foreman Charlie and ace mechanic Eddie, removed our A/C in about 15 minutes thinking Camping World had one in stock, but did not. These guys located a new replacement, sent a runner and Eddie had us leaving within two hours. The impressive part of my story is; they did not sell us our Winnebago and gave us priority over a shop full of Campers to accommodate our situation unlike other local shops who would have made us wait two weeks. My Thanks to all of you

Took our 5th wheel to them over a week ago and we were told that we would have it completed by tomorrow. We called several times with no one calling us back for an update. I left a voice mail for the service manager with no response. My husband was told by Jennifer that we would hear from her yesterday by 3 pm with an update (because it's not her file) and no call. When I called today, Jennifer answered the phone and placed blame on Brian (the person who has our file), he is on vacation. Does our service stop because an employee goes on vacation? Terrible communication, terrible service. We were in the process of trading in and purchasing new THIS YEAR. I know where we WON'T be going. Needless to say, over a week later and our camper hasn't even been touched! Going to get it today!

Hello, I know people who have bad experiences are always the first to write a review. Most bad ones that I have seen on Camping World were due to people buying a used vehicle without checking it over well first. Thats the buyers fault, you never do that any place. I had a great experience with Camping World service in Strattford, MO. My service advisor Matt, is a great caring guy. I want him to get full credit for his dedication. I had a repair done there. The tech did make an honest mistake on the work initally, but Matt made sure they stood behind the work, and they agreed to fix the issue with no hassle. When posting a review, lets be fair, and not tell half truths to scare other customers. I would definately recommend this Camping World and would do business there again. I found them to be courteous and kind and treated all customers with dignity.

Camping World Rv Repair Review

If you need work done do not ever go to camping world lowell ar, they can't fix problems right they life to you and refuse to answer messages. After 6 trips totally 1200 miles still don't have my ac fixed. Of by the way they started in Oct '15 it's now June 21, 2016 and it's still in there shop. Oh also it's a brand new Winnebago motorhome.
