1.0
Details
In Dec, 2014 we bought a 2015 Heartland Landmark 365 from CW in Lake City, FL. HUGE mistake, they sold us a LEMON!!!! PROBLEMS SINCE DAY ONE!!!! Until this day we are still dealing with problems with the unit, and now dealing with CW in Ft. Myers, FL, is exactly the same, worst experience ever!!!! Mr. Ed Woods (Service Manager) in CW Lake City, Fl is an arrogant disrespectful man, rude, no customer service skills at all. And Mr. Oscar Dayoub (Service Manager) in CW Ft. Myers, Fl is more or less the same. This company is a piece of ***, Mr. Marcus Lemonis CEO of CW, I will see you all looking for a new job when this piece of *** company closes their doors, I will be watching and cheering with the good news. DON'T GO TO CAMPING WORLD!!!! DON'T BUY AT CAMPING WORLD!!!!!! All of them are a bunch of liers!!!!!!!

Camping World (Byron, Georgia) has had camper 7 weeks and has not repaired slideout

Cannot get service manager Jennifer to return calls and camper has been there for 7 WEEKS! I am UPSET!!!llllllll. Upset, upset, upset!!!! Upset, upset, upset, upset, upset, upset, upset! Left camper to have slideout repaired and it has not been repaired. Parts ordered after 2 weeks. Then they had to order "gears", this took another week after after they supposedly got the chain in (I think). Why wasn't the gears checked in the first place. I have received 2 phone calls from her in 7 WEEKS. I HAVE PLACED AT LEAST 14 calls to her and NO RESPONSE. Today I called her at 2:45 (7/25/16) and she told me she was going to check on the lot to see if camper was ready and has NOT CALLED BACK-4:45 pm NOW!! I am UPSET! This is the WORST Customer Service I have EVER SEEN!

Camping World - Keystone Rv Rv Review
We purchased an new Keystone. Now one would think that NEW would actually be in NEW condition, but not quite so as I found out even after the assurance that nothing has been used. After getting the trailer home I had plans to add a few things that it did not have for convenience. So the following weekend I decided to put in a black tanks flush, and wouldn't you know it........surprise........So much for new and never used. When they test everything does that mean they take it out for a camping trip and put it through its paces........ Prior to taking the trailer home, I specifically asked to have all the seams double checked and was assured they had been. Apparently not because after more digging around I spotted visible areas that had to be re-caulked. I tried many times to get things resolved with no suck luck. I finally just took care of everything myself knowing that with the service given so far, everything would just be half-assed anyway. The list goes on from here because Camping World just don't care. I have never seen a bigger group of individuals that are only concerned about the bottom line but fail to realize that keeping higher standards retains customers and increases your bottom line. Now don't get me wrong because they do have 1 or 2 people in my local store that are great. And my local store just happens to be next to there HQ.....and you know the rest because I am not the first to say it.

CAMPING World Service Dept. Sucks.

On or about 5/14/2016 I took my Casita to the Winter Garden store for what I would have thought would be routine maintenance. Please forgive me I don’t have all the dates and times or details as was quite the ordeal. . I left it with the front office service advisor who I believe she was named Shean Corley. After about an our of making a work order I left with the understanding that the following work would be preformed: Annual Maintenance Package and the 45 point check In addition to the maintenance and the check I asked them to: Replace the vent cap over the bathroom Replace some cabinet latches (2X) and we even spoke how they would probably need to be special ordered, Repair as necessary the outside light at the entrance as I felt the switch was not working. Tighten as necessary the screws for the closet hinges. and last but not least I asked them to top off the LP tanks on one of the Wed’s that it was in the shop. On or about 5/29/2016 I was called and advised it was ready to pickup and at that time I authorized over the phone for a sale item “ a electric jack” to be put on. When I returned I found that at that time the outside switch had not been ordered or replaced and the cabinet latches had not been order or replaced, so after over an hour we finally find out that both the latches had not been replaced and the lp tanks had not been toped off. I was called and advised that it was going to be an extra 96.75 to run the electric wiring all the way back to the back ( a whole 17 foot small trailer) On or about 6/4 I was advised it was ready to pick up after everything had been done and when I returned the tanks had not been topped off and I was advised now that the battery needed to be replaced. At this time I was totally frustrated and told them I would replace the battery myself since I have an wholesale account at Interstate battery, On or about 7/4 I had the battery replaced at the interstate store in Oviedo Florida. I walked out with d During this time the trailer was had only been trailered without any use. After interstate replaced the battery, it blew 5 separate fuses and when I got it home I plugged it in the wall 110 and it would pop the breaker after about 5 minutes of being plugged in. I tried different circuits to no avail. I plugged and un plugged everything and reinstalled the wiring to the battery again blowing more fuses in the inline wiring to the battery from the electric jack. After walking away for over an hour I returned and it was now working and not blowing fuses. I called the Shop and they wrote it off saying that nothing was wrong when they repaired it was probably just the adapter to the 110. However, that didn’t answer nor did they have an answer why it was blowing fuses now intermittingly or why the 12 volt plug on the inside was not working now. They advised me that it was checked during the 45 point check. After calling the Casita manufacture in Texas I found that they always use a 110 converter in their shop and that was not a valid reason for the circuits to be blowing by using the 110 converter. The manufacture also advised me that they do not recommend Camping world for service and advised that LaMesa was the only place in central Florida that they could recommend. The went further to say that even though it was OK to run the wiring from the Elec. jack all the way back to the battery it was completely unnecessary, they advised that there is ample room in the junction box to hardwire a elec. jack and there was even a place that was earmarked for wiring in a elec. jack. and that the extra labor for Camping world to wire in the elec. jack was not necessary. After advising the manager of the store off my conversations with Manufacture He advised me that if I would bring it in and they would go over it again. I took it back to the shop and told them the only way I would be satisfied now was for them to retrace the wiring and make sure that there was not a possible short somewhere that was causing the short or casing the 12 volt plug to to not work. When I picked it up they said that they could not find anything wrong with the wiring. The Tech showed me where they had left it running with the AC and light on all night and just unplugged it before I got there. Even thought the tech said he checked the wiring I felt that all he done was to turn the AC and light on to see if it was working so he could show me that when I returned there. He also said there was a blown fuse for the 12 volt plug on the inside. Now after about 2 months and after my final fill all in all I spent $1022.32, Which did not include the LP tanks being topped off even though it was in my first request. I advised them over the phone and after having to take it back myself and get them topped off after it had been it the shop twice now. I have now been camping with it and the first time I camped after I went out to turn the Electric water heater on and found the the switch had been left on and if you know water heaters when the switch is left on without water being in the tank it will burn out the element. So guess what after spending all this money I find that possibly as a result of the water heater switch being left on and an improper installation of the electric jack that that those things might have been the culprit of the fuses blowing and the circuits popping to now replace the water heater element myself, So now after spending $1022.32 and countless hours in the shop, on the phone and on the road traveling to and from the shop I have had to do most of the necessary maintenance myself and learned a huge lesson about Camping World. Even a Vendor at my wife's work advised that he would never return to Camping World. Another friend of mine who is a recently retired United States Marshall said he would never return to Camping World for service.

Camping World in Hamburg, New York - Lack of CUSTOMER SERVICE

1.9
Details
We have been so disappointed with the customer service we have received from Camping World of Buffalo. We started our process at their show on July 1 at the Hamburg Fairgrounds and it has been downhill from there. Talk about making a customer feeling like they are not important or valued. We purchased a toyhauler the day we were there. There were some modifications to 2 doorways that had to be completed to accommodate our son in a wheelchair. We were told these could be completed and the camper would be ready for pick up on our son's birthday July 8th. My husband received a call from our salesperson the Wednesday prior to confirm amount due and that we would be picking up on that Friday the 8th. My husband and his brother arrived Friday morning for pick up only to find that the wrong camper was in the garage and modifications had not even been started. Parts had not even been ordered yet. My brother went out into the parking lot and while walking around just happen to notice a camper out their with our name on it. Calls my husband out and they finally figure out they had the wrong camper in to modify. Then the tech starts to tell my husband the modifications that the sales people said could be done probably could not and that "they are sale people and will say anything to make a sale". That is so reassuring that the bottom line commission is so much more important than the customer. To make a long painful and very aggravating story short we still do not have our camper and it is currently the 22nd of July. We have had to cancel 2 reservations constantly disappoint our son. We have had every excuse in the book as to why it is not done. I am so tired of hearing every time I call to inquire when it is going to be done "We sold this many units over the last so many days, we are now number 4 in the company and up with the big dogs" They might be up with the "big dogs" but they sorely forgotten the "little" customers that got them there. All our current paperwork has the wrong vin number they gave us the wrong information to insure the camper, so for a week we insured the incorrect vehicle. Our Good Sam temporary member card has the wrong name on it. We have been given nothing but a run around for the last 2 1/2 weeks and lost half a summer of camping with our son that we can never get back. I have been in customer service for 28 year as an Area Manager, District Manager and Regional Manager my customers always came first, because I knew they made me better. My belief is when you give your word on something follow through don't come up with lame excuses. This business does not deserve to be playing with the big dogs!

Camping World - AWESOME purchase experience from CW Madison
Can't say enough good about everyone at Camping World of Madison. We knew what we wanted and worked with Matt in sales to get it done. He was very helpful from order to pickup. Columbus came from factory with a couple of minor issues and Camping World would not let us do our PDI until they had everything fixed. They did and all has been great. We picked it up in April 2016 and have 5000 miles on it already. Everything has been working great including the couple of items they had to fix. All around great experience and will continue to recommend to everyone I know.

Avoid if possible shopping at the Golden CO Camping World. If it wasn't for proving terrible service, they wouldn't be providing any service at all. No training whatsoever and they must hire anyone off the street. Their billionaire CEO needs to get out of the ivory tower once in a while and actually step foot in a store to experience the *** service. All it will take is just 1 good competitor to step up and Camping World will follow the path of Kmart.
