We purchased a brand new 5th wheel from what is to be southern Rv but now is camping world in Shreveport ... It has been the worst experience I have ever had .... The sales staff was nice but the services center is awful .... Our camper has been in there shop more than we have used it .... Every time we go to pick it up it is in worse condition than when we dropped it off !!! No one can ever tell you what is going on with your camper and they do not return phone calls

I have called the office and Kentucky twice and was told to leadership committee would call me back I'm still waiting my coaches been in camping world in Swedesboro New Jersey since April 19 my summer vacation time is completely gone and my coach has not even been touched the batteries are completely dead when I was over there and was told all we can charge them up no problem my coach was put in there because it was not winterized right and the boiler aqua hot has *** in it there was no antifreeze in my coach at all except for 2 gallons that they put in different bays in my coach their solution was that my coach is rusted out and that it will cost me 12,000 and some dollars change to have it repaired but each time I go over there nothing has been touched on the coach on the aqua hot and I don't feel with my boss not being winterized that it should cost me a penny onebut April 19 was a long time ago and it is now August 2 I don't get any phone calls back from them and I don't get any phone calls back from the Kentucky office I don't think you run a business that way

I bought a 1999 holiday rambler 36', the sales man told me to come down and look at it, so me and my wife went down, well the sales man pressured us to buy it because some one else wanted it, oh yea $36000.00. So we bought it. So I wanted a new awning over the slide out well the awning they put on they put holes in it, so I called they said bring it back they will pay a new one on, so I dropped it off after a month I was going some where so I had to pick it up, well it took over a year to get a new one, they gave us such *** stories whe it never show up there. Next we went in 6 months later to trade it in they told us they would give us $12000.00 for a trade, then the sales men told us the sales person that sold us the motor home screwed us. Plus I asked about the $500.00 freight charge that was on my invoice and they told us that they don't charge for freight for used. But they didn't offer the $500.00 back, I emailed the owner and he just keeps sticking us with workers that are know help at all, plus went in for a oil change was told about $200.00, they called it was done but it was $400.00 and they were charging me for freight and for cleaning supplies. So Iam done I think it's time for a class action suit or report them to the attorney general. I could go on but why.

Camping World in Boise, Idaho - Poor, Poor Service

Bought a very expensive 5th wheel. Some minor problems at first so took it in after our first short trip. They kept it 3 weeks and didn't even look at it. Couldn't get anyone to return call. Went back twice in person and it couldn't get anyone to listen to our complaint. Finally found out that they hadn't even looked at it yet. They got very rude. Turns out the problems could have been addressed in less than an hour. We have an extended warranty and we are very sorry we bought that. We won't take it back unless it is something we can't fix ourselves. Since then when he sees us, he avoids all eye contact. Very very poor service department. Sorry we bought from Camping World.

So glad I found this site before we finalized our purchase on a 2017 trailer... While waiting for the finance guy (who clearly has better things to do than his job) to call us back on the financing approval I found this site only looked cause they rubbed me the wrong way and just had that feeling. My husband did all of the shopping I just went in to take a look at it before we did the deal. So after saying yes we did the paperwork and said we would get a call in the morning at 9am. That time came and went and no return calls when he called to see what was going on. At 830 that night got a call from the finance manager with a congrats you were approved and the interest rate is 9.75%. HOLY *** are you kidding me with a 750 credit score 9.75% ? That sealed the deal for me in addition to ready the *** reviews the company has so after telling him we could get 4.99% at our credit union he kept right on talking so after the third time my husband told him no thanks we just want our deposit back he hung up on him. No calls the next day with hey we found you a better interest rate... I called to inform them that my husband would be up to get our deposit and was told no problem. He was going that way anyways since we ended up buying a bigger and nicer trailer at Ballard's RV down the road that day and had the financing all approved at 4.99 percent at our credit union. He gets there a hour each way and is told they don't carry cash and would have to issue a check by mail the next week. Then he was met by the regional sales manager who offers to match the 4.99% and also take another 1200.00 off the trailer. Now the salesman the night before went back and forth with the finance guy cause this was such a skinny deal we were getting on the trailer meaning they were making very little on it. So guess they made enough that he could offer another 1200.00 off it. Such a joke! He told him we were no longer interested in buying from them and just wanted a refund on deposit so just mail the check and he left to go down the road to get our new trailer. 5 days pass and I get a text from the salesman saying to come pick up our deposit! Are you freaking kidding me! I wrote back and told him we are not making a two hour trip to pick up a deposit you said you didn't have the week before. He said well we have cash now but if you want us to mail a check it will have to come from corporate and could take a month to get. I responded and told him mail it. I also added that I am not that person you want to play games with. No check yet but I'm going to wait another week than I will take that ride out there and make a huge scene right there on the sales floor for all the customers to hear.. And direct them to this site for reviews...Take my advice go to a dealer with a good reputation like Ballard's no bull with them and no hidden costs unlike camping world. We were so happy with them that we opted for the bigger trailer and felt comfortable paying more for it where at camping world we would have had to settle for the smaller trailer because of the added charges they don't tell you about.

I wish EVERYONE in the country would read and heed the warnings here before doing business with those @#$%&£#$ at Camping World .

They are greedy beyond words and lie about anything and everthing.

I bought a new TT from Camping World, Meridian Idaho three weeks ago. On my first outing i managed severe my trailer brake cable causing the TT to lose battery power. I spliced the cable back, brakes, lights work but no power to trailer from batteries. 120 worked just fine. After checking fuses amd battery disconnect, I called CW Meridian Service while on the road and asked for a couple pointers where to start looking. He said it could be a million things since I "bent, tweaked and tore up cables" and would offer no suggestions. 5 minutes online i found a suggestion to follow the red power cable to a box that has a reset button on it. It was located under the trailer by a junction box about a foot from the battery. Took two minutes to find and reset. Rude, unhelpful "service". I was warned about them and still I bought from them. When a customer is on the road and needs a few pointers for something I'm sure they've seen a million times, they'd rather turn you away either because they're too lazy or want to get you in to rape your wallet.

Scheduled an appointment around the beginning of April for warranty work and had a drop off date of June 9th my camper saton thier lot untill June 23rd and hade not even been looked at. It is now August 1st and still haven't had any resolve. Customer service is the worst i have ever seen. They are in a hurry to sell you a camper but dont wantvto back up warranty work. Will never buy from them again. Thier service people/warranty people are rude and inconsiderate and not people friendly.

Camping World - Free shipping costs $57

We were pricing a product at different locations, and Camping World had the best price, plus their website promoted free shipping to Canada. A neighbour signed for the UPS delivered package, and paid $57.13 for the parcel. If it cost $57.13 for free shipping, I would how much it would have been if we paid for the shipping. There may be fine print that says that the shipping isn't free, but they sucked us in with this, what I consider to be, misleading advertising. If they mislead customers about shipping, can they be trusted with an order. I will never order from them again, and they are on my "tell one hundred people" list.

Camping World in Colorado Springs, Colorado - *** Poor Attitude

We have a 2015 Thor Chateau with an extended warranty. We were in Colorado Springs on the last day of our two week vacation and 19 hours from home. When we turned on the inverter a E05 code came on and the inverter started to smoke. We took it the Camping World Store in Fountain Co. When I explained the issue to the warranty service writer (Diesel) he picked up his appointment book and said the earliest I can get you in is next week. I explained our situation and that we were 19 hours from home with a smoking inverter. He could have cared less, no offer to look at it to confirm the issue, no offer to disconnect it, no suggestion on running the generator to get us home, next week end of discussion. If this is the attitude of Camping World in general I when it comes to helping stranded customers I will never buy another product from them.

Camping World - Rv Review from Aurora, Colorado

Bought a very expensive 5th wheel from Camping World in Longmont, Colorado and were told we are a big family you can get help at any camping world. Then we took our first trip and found out the brake lines under trailer were not secured properly and had rubbed through on the tire and how scared we were to find out we could've lost brakes during our trip. Also found water in fridge dispenser not working. Called Camping World in Anniston, Al and was told they don't work on Jayco RVs! What?! So here we are 2 weeks later and no one will help us get this fixed. Numerous calls into the Longmont location with zero help and no return calls. What a freaking nightmare! This is unbelievable and what a crock of *** they feed you to buy an RV and then do nothing for you after. Just like jerky used car salesmen!!!
