Camping World, St George, UT

After many months of procrastination and no espouses to my phone calls and emails Campinlg World finally replaced the closet doors with the correct doors, they have not to this day ever contacted me regarding the light on the rv that has never worked correctly that they said they had ordered and would call as soon as it came in, it's been 15 months and still no call. I am happy that I don't have to deal with Camping World any more. Was not a pleasant experience. I also need to add that dealing with the BBB in St George is a waste of time. I was told that before I contacted them.

Camping World in Athens, Georgia - A great service experience saved our entire trip!

3.7
Details
Traveling from Georgia on a 6 week cross country trip to the West Coast during June, we were in route to pick up our Grandchildren to join us. Our generator failed in route and wouldn’t start. With 100 degree temperatures in Missouri and facing 120 degree temperatures ahead in the deserts, we knew the generator powering the overhead AC units was critical. Despite a very busy service department, the Michael was able to get us time with service tech Kevin. Kevin processed methodically to eliminate the simple and obvious problems. After all attempts had been exhausted, the service manager George took over. George, who hereafter should be known as the “diesel whisperer”, finally coaxed the generator alive. An intermittent fuel pump was the final diagnosis. Michael then accommodated us with onsite overnight camping as the replacement part couldn’t be delivered until the next morning. He even gave us his personal cell phone in case we had a need during the night. The following day, Kevin and Steve made the final installations while enduring yet another bath of diesel fuel as they had to make all repairs from underneath the vehicle. The team next invested the extra time of letting the generator run and inspecting for any leaks or other problems. We completed the trip of the lifetime with our generator running flawlessly. My wife and I own a Servpro franchise and are blessed with a team of 15 great service people. We know firsthand, the challenges of providing such great service to the public. Too many customers of our generation are quick to find fault, but slow to compliment. Let me praise the entire team at Camping World, Springfield, Mo. Each person was compassionate to our needs and the emergency that we encountered. Every person was polite and courteous during our every interaction. They were competent and skilled in their work. They tackled the repair in a cost effective manner by starting with the simplest, fastest and least costly solutions. Just the way I would spend my own time and money doing repairs myself. George, as team leader, moved energetically around the entire facility “pollenating” each of his teams as he was needed. He was holding the first standup meeting with his crew before I had started my morning coffee. Michael, courteously and effectively dealt with a perpetually deep line of summer time customers, while ensuring that each of us felt properly attended to. Kevin, lay on the boiling asphalt (there wasn’t room inside any repair bays), drowned in diesel fuel yet remained cheerful and engaged throughout. Within the first hour, I felt a confidence and trust for this team as I do with the mechanics that care for our fleet at home. It was quickly evident that this level of professionalism is the daily standard at Camping World, Springfield. Thanks again to Kevin, George, Michael and Steve for delivering such excellent customer service to our family.

Dont Buy from Camping World

2.6
Details
Don't buy from Camping World it not worth the hassle. I bought a really nice Montana travel trailer with all the bells and whistles,I used it one time and the ac didn't work. So we took it back to Camping World and they said there wa nothing wrong with the ac. When it 95 degrees outside and 80 degrees inside and both ac are set on 68 there is something wrong. Now they are telling us there is nothing they can do about it. When you drop that kind of money on a travel trail and Camping World is not willing to fix the problem there is something seriously wrong. This was a brand new trailer used one time. Don,t waste your time or money go somewhere else.

Marcus Lemonis recent political statement should be more than enough to encourage everyone to stop buying from camping world unless your are a funded violent radical leftist. By the way not a white nationalist or neo nazi just an ordinary customer lost forever.

Camping World in Saint Helena Island, South Carolina - Worse service Dept ever!!!!!!

3.4
Details
I spent 100,000.00 for motorhome along with a service package I paid another 4400.00 for. We were told to drop camper off on Friday for The protective Paint coating and interior scotch guard. Almost 3 weeks later, it is still sitting there. No one will take your calls or return your calls. They discovered a recall, didn't bother to contact us or order the part to satisfy recall. The application for protective coating was supposed to take 2-3 days. The service dept. hides when you call. We are picking our home up today and will never use any camping world for any reason in the future if it can be gotten elsewhere.

Camping World Rv Repair Review from Odessa, Florida

Camping World, Robertsdale, Alabama; Nice store for shopping if you drive a "car"? There are no parking places for RV's!!! The service lane is backed up to the highway and to get service, you have to wait TWO WEEKS!!! Too many Winnebago Naviions with harmonic noises in the drive trains built by Mercedes Benz, that claims the "noise" is normal! They are too dumb to admit they can't repair the drive train.

As much as we liked our sales associate, he actually made buying this new trailer (2017) pleasurable. But after having to go to the service dept with items on a new trailer and having been given manure by the tech about repairs, i cannot in good faith refer friends there (New Port Richey). As soon as the warranty work is completed and who knows when that will be i will try to find another place. DO NOT BUY OR DEAL WITH CAMPING WORLD IN NEW PORT RICHEY.

we had our first experience with service on our new camper, first the man didn't even know that the company sold the brand we bought, then without even looking at the list we had of things that were not working, including something wrong with the Gas burner in camper, kinda important, he told us it would be at least 3 weeks before any work could be done , not even knowing what yet was wrong, I did call him a name that fit after he was very nasty to me, that name fit well ***, arrogant ***, this was at St Augustine Florida Camper world, They need MORE TRAINING in that store.

I have called the office and Kentucky twice and was told to leadership committee would call me back I'm still waiting my coaches been in camping world in Swedesboro New Jersey since April 19 my summer vacation time is completely gone and my coach has not even been touched the batteries are completely dead when I was over there and was told all we can charge them up no problem my coach was put in there because it was not winterized right and the boiler aqua hot has *** in it there was no antifreeze in my coach at all except for 2 gallons that they put in different bays in my coach their solution was that my coach is rusted out and that it will cost me 12,000 and some dollars change to have it repaired but each time I go over there nothing has been touched on the coach on the aqua hot and I don't feel with my boss not being winterized that it should cost me a penny onebut April 19 was a long time ago and it is now August 2 I don't get any phone calls back from them and I don't get any phone calls back from the Kentucky office I don't think you run a business that way
