Their service procedures are slow at best. I have had my coach, a new Thor 22FE which I love, in their shop for half the summer. I coached them on the problem with my back up camera after visiting another Thor dealer. They told me to, after the first 4 1/2 weeks in the shop that once the parts arrived to bring my RV back in and I wouldn't have to wait in line. On the third day after I brought it back in I went to check on the progress and found nothing done. I was told that I shouldn't expect to be put in front of other customers and I needed to set up an appointment. So I have been in their six weeks and still waiting. I have heard from other Camping World customers that all the want to do is sell. Please buy from someone that truly wants you out enjoying your coach. Someone that is more concerned in keeping you on the road and happy. Price can be very deceiving.

Camping World in Las Vegas, Nevada - Worst service ever

Camping world in Las Vegas on lvbs is the worst customer/service I have ever had. They had my unit for 5 months to replace the sewer tank. When I got it back a hose burst in the bathroom 30 minutes after they said it was done. Refused to come out and fix it 2 miles from their shop. They promised they would make it right. Didn't do anything for us. Installed a tv satellite, fried my brand new tv then replaced it with a cheaper tv than the warranty covered, then tried to charge me 300.00 dollars more than the quote. After I bitched about it they found the overcharge mistake. Drove down the street to hook up and make sure everything was working. Not, the tv would not work. Contacted direct because it was after hours for camping world. Nothing would work. Drove it back to camping world the next day to spend 2.5 hours to find out that the hdmi cord was not hooked up. Got a call from camping world saying I would be contacted and they would make it right. Again haven't heard anything from them.

I agree, I have never in my life been treated like this!!! CUSTOMER SERVICE IS THE WORST I HAVE EVER SEEN IN MY 50yrs!!!!!!!! Got suckered into a deposit I couldn't get back, refrigerator issues that were not warrantied!!!! My Coachman Freedom in 1 month OLD!!!!! Already having issues, they blamed it on my driving!!!! Lol I pull it at 57-60MPH!!!! Leaks on the connections, empty promises. AWEFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! Better yet NO SERVICE AFTER THE SALE!!!!! I had 3 friends looking to purchase campers, I hooked them up with BILLY SIMS!!!! They are Happy as a Lark!!!! Me...........I'm still having warranty issues, quality control sure did miss a lot of issues before it was signed out. We were called on Thursday your camper is ready be here at 9am Friday. We drive 3hrs to Lubbock, for what, yea you got to wait!!!!! We finally hooked on to our camper at 5pm!!!!! DID I MENTION THAT CUSTOMER SERVICE AT CAMPING WORLD SUCKS????!!!!!!! Too many empty promises, no service after the sale!!!! Save your headache and BUY YOUR CAMPER AT BILLY SIMMS!!!! Lesson hard learned by me!!!!!

Took my travel trailer in to have all hail damage fixed. Insurance claim work is usually *** proof, enter Camping World. Was told skylight,new roof, vent cover,and new awning would take maybe four weeks. They called 6 weeks later said work was done. Showed up no roof, no awning. Six weeks to put in a skylight. They told me the awning and roof had no damage, so then I took them outside and showed them the obvious holes in the awning and told them I want it ALL fixed. Their explanation for the oversight was that they inspected it in the shop where it's very dark. YES they said that outloud. If you look at the attached photos you can see that they also do the caulking in the dark! They told us to bring it back and they finish the job that had already gone 2 weeks over. We took it back and have since left numerous voicemails to service manager. Have not heard back. Camping World is an absolute JOKE and the next time (next year) I go to drop 35K on a camper they will not be a thought in my head!

bought a new rv from camping world just 2 weeks ago. Salesman was helpful and very pleasant. what happened was when we came to pick up the rv, the orientation was a joke, nothing was really explained he told us to watch u-tube. We decided to take the rv on a short break in trip to Estes Park. That's when things fell apart, the auto leveling did not work the jacks got stuck, so we called the service department, they missed with us all afternoon, when we finally called back was told the service department was closed for the weekend, we were left high and dry. Of course when we went into the service department on the following Monday they had a different story. Our water connection did not work, there was a kink in the hose in the rv, of course this was never checked out before the rv was turned over to us. We were told at orientation that the rv and been checked from top to bottom and was ready to go. What a joke. We finally called Good Sam Roadside Assistance that was a whole other story. after a day and a half someone finally came to check on the leveling problem, which could not be fixed, they did get the jacks up but they could do nothing else. On Monday the service department was no more help then they were on the phone. Camping world is a joke!!!! If I can keep one person from having a horrible experience this review will have been worth it. We just want to get rid of the rv at this point but camping world will only give us a fraction of what we paid for the rv. Customer Service is a joke at camping world. There are a lot of rv lots around the area I sure wish we had checked the other ones out. Would never recommend camping world and want nothing more to do with them.

We purchased a new 2011 meridian from camping world we also purchased an extended warranty we made an appointment for minor repairs were told to bring bus on June 8,2016. Which we did. We did not bother them for three weeks because we're busy however this is August 14th and our bus is still there and not repaired calls have done nothing to correct the situation Seth at camping world told me they didn't break the bus and if I would get off the phone he could check on it this was about three weeks ago todate I have heard nothing from Seth he must still be on the phone with another irate customer. We were told it was ready two weeks ago so drove 100 miles to pick it up it was not ready and the steps would not work among other things we have now been with out our bus all summer looks like they are reordering parts so I'm sure it will be week after next befor the day it is ready that will be almost three months. Has anyone else had this problem and what did you do

purchased a 2017 motor home in April 2016, drove it home (4hrs.) after checking everything out (which is what the dealer told us to do) we found quite a few things that needed to be fixed. we drove it back to camping world in May, was there for approximately 4 hrs, while they looked at all the items and took pictures. They needed all of this to get the approval of Forest River to be able to fix everything.(warranty work). WAITING!!!!!!!!! Every time we call, they will of have to call us back. Problem being just like most of the other reviews I've read they DO NOT call back. We have to call again and there is ALWAYS a different excuse. My advise (in hind site) SO NOT purchase from or have work done at any Camping World.

Camping World in Oakley, Utah - They are crooks

I have had 2 major repairs done on my trailer. 1 was an investor replacement and about 2 times back the Generator auto start is still not working properly. and then they tried to charge 1700 dollars to replace a black tank and dump. Had to have the dump valves replaced as it was not done right. They only had installed on value so you had to dump black and gray at the same time. Really????? cost me 125 dollars to fix that did not pay all of the 1700 dollar bill paid 500. still too much but i'm done with them Can you say crooks? rip off? take your trailer to Camping world for repair

i purchased a 2 new power awnings for my motorhome to be installed and I paid for them two months ago and took my motorhome in twice for a total of 18 hours and only removed the big awning. I've been given every excuse in the book and they don't even call back. This is in the Longmont Colorado store. I'm 78 years old and in that length of time I could have installed them myself. I have purchased awnings before and had them installed with no problem. This is my 6th motorhome first on purchased in 1974. I know there busy but the guys they put on it I don't think they know what there doing.
