Sales guy was very pushy on me leaving my camper at their Tampa location. Finally after he talked me into it and promised me the best of the best, here we are almost 2months later and im finally getting my camper back. Horrible customer service, horrible mechanics, and lets not forget the hidden fees that totaled up to 1500. My advice..... STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM THE TAMPA LOCATION AS POSSIBLE

Up to sale service is fine I purchased a used 2014 5th wheel from camper world biloxi ms in july of this year during walk thru noticed awning needs replacing i was they would order and replace at no cost iwent back 2 weeks later and was that it had not yet been ordered and that they would order right away i just called was put on hold after close to 5 minutes on hold they came back said that they were checking on it and would call me back in 30 minutes! Been close to an hour no call my experience with biloxi camper world has been very negative this doesn't include my experience with salesman stacy jones who came to my garage sale picked up close to 100.00 in items saying he would pay me when i came in for brake control installation but still didn't get paid if this represents just a fraction of your salesstaff that's very sad remember good service 10 people hear about it bad service 100 hear about it

We had a problem with the rear ac unit on 2016 Montana 3711 fl having minimal air flow, unit would not cycle and would not cool. Called camping world in Lewisville TN and was told that the first opening they had was a week out. I took the unit in on the day and time that I was given. As soon as the service writer found out that we did not buy the unit from them, I was then told they did not have an opening and it would be another week before they would even check it out. Once again Camping world is showing that they are just like most companies where customer service is a joke. At this point I find it hard to believe that it will be even looked at next week!!!!!!

Sold us a 2017 Montano 3711FL with recalls to Bedroom A/C, leaked water from rain onto bed and tv, asking for replacement but no one returns calls or emails about said unit. Recliner broken due to self tapping screws breaking off, now slide out will not close due to rollers under recliner , no movement. General Mgr is the greatest but his Service Mgr is not, Service Mgr pulls items from another rv on lot to replace water damaged wood under bed and ordered wrong bed, after exchange, the tech made adjustments , water damage again. Camping World: Robertsdale, AL buyers inspect Your new units for water and recalls.

I am a past employee of camping world and i can tell you the insides of how they treat there customers....from i have worked at 2 camping worlds amd they are thiefs.....the service department is run by freedom roads not camping world they are 2 separate company in the florida region it is run by JIM RYNO and a fee others they run there service department like a military base the kissimmee location is run by lorne edwards (service manager) and mike braman the (genaral manager) the office manager at the kissimmee location is diana vazquez...they make it there not to pay you whay is due they promise you more money and when you look at your pay check its shorter then expected....the sales and service deparment is run by FREEDOM ROAD NOT CAMPING WORLD.....when it comes to the customer they get you for everything you have when you buy from them the make you give them a depost and it will take you months befor you get your deposit back if you deside to change your mind........I LOVED ALL MY CUSTOMERS, AND WOULD SEND THEM ANY WHERE ELSE TO BUY......CUSTOMERS PLEASE JUST BECAUSE THEY COME WITH SWEET FACES DOES NOT MEAM THEY COME WITH SWEET HEARTS.....THEY ARE BITTER PEOPLE THAT ONLY THINK ABOUT THEM SELF....

Camping World in Colorado Springs, Colorado - Worst service ever

Their service procedures are slow at best. I have had my coach, a new Thor 22FE which I love, in their shop for half the summer. I coached them on the problem with my back up camera after visiting another Thor dealer. They told me to, after the first 4 1/2 weeks in the shop that once the parts arrived to bring my RV back in and I wouldn't have to wait in line. On the third day after I brought it back in I went to check on the progress and found nothing done. I was told that I shouldn't expect to be put in front of other customers and I needed to set up an appointment. So I have been in their six weeks and still waiting. I have heard from other Camping World customers that all the want to do is sell. Please buy from someone that truly wants you out enjoying your coach. Someone that is more concerned in keeping you on the road and happy. Price can be very deceiving.

Camping World in Las Vegas, Nevada - Worst service ever

Camping world in Las Vegas on lvbs is the worst customer/service I have ever had. They had my unit for 5 months to replace the sewer tank. When I got it back a hose burst in the bathroom 30 minutes after they said it was done. Refused to come out and fix it 2 miles from their shop. They promised they would make it right. Didn't do anything for us. Installed a tv satellite, fried my brand new tv then replaced it with a cheaper tv than the warranty covered, then tried to charge me 300.00 dollars more than the quote. After I bitched about it they found the overcharge mistake. Drove down the street to hook up and make sure everything was working. Not, the tv would not work. Contacted direct because it was after hours for camping world. Nothing would work. Drove it back to camping world the next day to spend 2.5 hours to find out that the hdmi cord was not hooked up. Got a call from camping world saying I would be contacted and they would make it right. Again haven't heard anything from them.

I agree, I have never in my life been treated like this!!! CUSTOMER SERVICE IS THE WORST I HAVE EVER SEEN IN MY 50yrs!!!!!!!! Got suckered into a deposit I couldn't get back, refrigerator issues that were not warrantied!!!! My Coachman Freedom in 1 month OLD!!!!! Already having issues, they blamed it on my driving!!!! Lol I pull it at 57-60MPH!!!! Leaks on the connections, empty promises. AWEFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! Better yet NO SERVICE AFTER THE SALE!!!!! I had 3 friends looking to purchase campers, I hooked them up with BILLY SIMS!!!! They are Happy as a Lark!!!! Me...........I'm still having warranty issues, quality control sure did miss a lot of issues before it was signed out. We were called on Thursday your camper is ready be here at 9am Friday. We drive 3hrs to Lubbock, for what, yea you got to wait!!!!! We finally hooked on to our camper at 5pm!!!!! DID I MENTION THAT CUSTOMER SERVICE AT CAMPING WORLD SUCKS????!!!!!!! Too many empty promises, no service after the sale!!!! Save your headache and BUY YOUR CAMPER AT BILLY SIMMS!!!! Lesson hard learned by me!!!!!

Took my travel trailer in to have all hail damage fixed. Insurance claim work is usually *** proof, enter Camping World. Was told skylight,new roof, vent cover,and new awning would take maybe four weeks. They called 6 weeks later said work was done. Showed up no roof, no awning. Six weeks to put in a skylight. They told me the awning and roof had no damage, so then I took them outside and showed them the obvious holes in the awning and told them I want it ALL fixed. Their explanation for the oversight was that they inspected it in the shop where it's very dark. YES they said that outloud. If you look at the attached photos you can see that they also do the caulking in the dark! They told us to bring it back and they finish the job that had already gone 2 weeks over. We took it back and have since left numerous voicemails to service manager. Have not heard back. Camping World is an absolute JOKE and the next time (next year) I go to drop 35K on a camper they will not be a thought in my head!
