Camping World - Still waiting - 899920 madison, wis.

this is a continuation of the first. after 4 months of waiting we finally took our FR3 to madison. from 8am to 530 pm they managed to do 7 out of 15 total repairs. the counter top needed to be replaced so they managed to crack it while they were installing the new one - so quess what they did?? - they finished the job caulk and all. now even though it has been 4 months we are back to waiting again. of course they say they are going to put a rush on it, HaHa, maybe this time it will only take 6month. i figure this time frame, since we pi---d them off by complaining about the work not getting done 9 and 1/2 hours. CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS

Camping World in Salt Lake City, Utah - Run Around

to brian.struthers You may expect a phone call this morning regarding the replacement of the retracting step on my Itasca motorhome. Be sure you're sitting down. You have now had my unit for three weeks. It has been claimed that there is some difficulty in obtaining a replacement. I call foul. This item is available on your own (Camping World) website: Catalog Item # 81979. $499.99. It is available for immediate delivery. Google searches for the same item show lower prices and availability from other vendors. Having paid dearly for my extended warranty, I expect results - not promises or the ongoing run-around that I and my wife have been experiencing. Ernest Fischer

Camping World in Villa Rica, Georgia - Service

I am not at all happy with camping worlds service dept at the Anniston Al location. this is an ongoing issue from the last 2 years. you can never get any one to return your phone calls and it is very difficult to get a person on the phone. I have had dealings with Sony, Kelley, Kim , Russ(the service mgr) and still cannot get any resolution to my warranty issues. this is ongoing for 3 months. I will NEVER buy or take my RV back there again. no one seems to really care. All they want to do is sell but give no service. As Sony put it.. its all rainbows and unicorns in sales but when it comes to the service side,, well there isn't any. I don't know who to contact at this point but I know I will NEVER recommend camping world to anyone. I know other people who have had the same issues at other locations of camping world. It must be a policy.

Yes it is pretty much standard policy to cheatum however they can.

In August of this year they are #6 on the top ten most complained about companies.

Camping World in Greensboro, North Carolina - My experience

My overall experience with this dealer is not very good. The salesman was more concerned about what we had to spend then the needs we had in mind, he was not a bad guy but I would not do business with him again. Getting a tag for brand new travel trailer was a very poor experience as well for they advised us they had no tags to hand out and told us we were to just call later that week about it but when you do the lady that handles that rarely answers the phone or returns your call so after about a month now of having the trailer in our position we still have no tag for it. When taking delivery for the travel trailer the salesman disappeared and left it up to the shop guy to go over everything who had a ton of other projects going on already in the shop possibly delaying the repair of others units. WE do really like our travel trailer and the floor plan of it but the dealer itself I would have to think twice of doing business with them again and just pay the higher price for a better overall experience. The good about this place is the guy in the shop that went over the trailer with us was very knowledgeable and did a great job (wish he would have been our salesman as well) and told us if we have any questions to call him The place is well stocked with supplies and accessories. The hours are convenient. I would highly recommend going to Bill Plemmons RV unless you really find a unit here you must have.

CAMPING WORLD USE TO BE A GOOD PLACE TO PURCHASE BUT AS I CAN SEE AND JUST RECENTLY EXPERIENCED, AT LEAST FOR CAMPING WORLD IN CONCORD, NC - TERRIBLE!!! DO NOT GOT THERE!

I bought a class A RV from camping world in Longmont CO, drove home to CA and waited about three months for a new plate from DMV , which never came, come to find out the dealer under paid on the CA sale tax almost nine hundred, called the financing manager and was told that im responsibe for the different, i believe when i sign the contract stated the original amount nothing should be different, why should i have to pay for their mistake, thats why they have a special department, unless theyre not been trained to do the job right,

Bought a brand new Moror Home from Campingworld Golden Co. Sales ok. Service sucks and the cheif Sucker there is the General Manager Donnie Wagner. Damaged the Moror Home and could not find his manhood (b___s) to call me. Only to have a yes man call me. Then tell me I would not be allowed on His lot. DONT BY FROM CAMPINGWORLD and Donnie Wagner. Had some contact with someone from their CS Dept. Another ballon with hot air!!!

Worst experience ever with senior management(Ken Stumpe and Randy Rahe) Bought used 2013 Montana High Country Aug 2016. Paid $40K plus a $7K trade. I was assured all tires were good. Not so much. Had major blow out 3 days later while sitting in my driveway. Started on our first trip 2 weeks later and had another major blow out that caused $3K in side damage. $1400 and 6 hours on the side of the road I had 4 new tires mounted. My sales rep advised upper management of my tire issue after the 1st one blew in my driveway and again after the 2nd one blew will being towed. T hey chose to do nothing to satisfy the customer. Ken Stumpe and Randy Rahe cant seem to understand why I am seeking reimbursement and repair? If I would have known the tires were defective I would never have driving the 5th wheel off the lot. I feel this is a major safety issue. How can Camping World be allowed to get away with treating customers this way? Thank goodness the blow outs did not occur while we were traveling over the 2 lane bridge another 5 miles down the road. Totally disappointed with this company! Will not stop until my 5th wheel is restored to the condition it was when I purchased it and I am reimbursed for all 5 tires. Also I have a Road Hazard policy that appears to be paying all the tire charges but $300. Why should I have any expense?

Camping World in Jackson, Mississippi - Awful Service

I would like to let you know that the service department at your Jackson, MS store is the worst of all the locations I've been to. I was lied to and I have voicemails on my phone that I am keeping just to have proof. I had numerous things that needed addressed on my 2016 Forest River 5th wheel and all I got actually done was my wheel bearings packed. The service manager, Jimmy, was no help and actually lied to me and your finance manager. He kept telling me the parts were ordered and I would go by and check with them. They didn't even know the part numbers so I knew something was wrong. I ended up picking up my unit (still with numerous problems ). I called some of the manufacturers (Dometic, Irvine and kitchenaid) and you know what...... Parts were never ordered and they are sending them directly to me, FREE! My dad had the same experience and he took his almost 200 miles just so he wouldn't have to deal with your Jackson service department. Fortunately I have another company locally that I can go to. It was like they just don't care. Oh by the way whenever Jimmy saw me coming, he would close his door.

I have just ended a seven month nightmare with the Jackson, Mississippi Camping World dealership. I have been lied to from the moment I walked in the door of this awful place back in July of 2018.

They added almost ten thousand dollars of extras onto my loan after we had made our deal on the phone and online. I trusted them and signed papers as they rushed me through the signing process and did not read the fine print. The sales manager Brandon and the finance manager, Brian have been putting me off for the past seven months. After relentless emails to them and phone calls to them and our salesman Floyd, I have just now got all these extras off my bank loan.

Brian promised me numerous times that he had cancelled these, but that was not true. I was forced to contact the companies myself and show them proof that this was not something I had ordered to get this off my loan.

This has without doubt been the worst experience of financing I have EVER been through. NEVER AGAIN WILL I DEAL WITH THIS DEALERSHIP!!!!
