Sales staff are terrible. Dont seem to care if you buy a unit or not. I was seriously lnterested in a NEW class A priced at 90000.00+. Sat down with the saleman talked about finance and trade gave us a number on trade which was low and than rudely stated this is the beskt deal your going to get. So after that I politely said well I need to crunch some numbers before a decision be made. And left with a very bad taste in my mouth. Mind you they had my personal info,name address &phone never had any follow up. I guess they could care less if they make a sale or not. Cant imagine these units are are flying off the parking lot! Ended up buying the same unit at another dealership for a better price and trade allowance. There loss wont go there again.

This is the most crooked experience I have ever been subjected to. I had a deal made on a unit, while fully disclosing the nature of my trade in. Not only did the camping world people inflame the derogatory judgement/comments of my unit, they actially damaged it in thier ignorant attemps at operating it. Unbelievable!!! This is supposed to be the professional guys??? I will never do any business with them again and be sharing my experience with my fellow rv acquaintances. Used car lots are more professional.

Camping World in Nashville, Tennessee - Electric fireplace not working

Bought a 2016 Keystone Springdale in Chattanooga Tn. Did not know at the time the electric fireplace did not work. Carried my camper camping world in Nashville Tn. to have it fixed. Dropped it off August 3rd talked to service advisor, he said they would have check it out and call me back. He called about two weeks later said part was ordered and should be there in about 10 days and they also found the converter did not work. He said he would call me when work was completed, about a month later no phone call. I called them and was told part was on backorder and would arrive on October 16. Waited a few days called back left message finally called me back 3 days later. I started getting the run around from them. Service advisor boss finally called Sept 28 and said part was there and my camper would be the 2nd one pulled in the next day. He was supposed to call when they got it ready. By Sunday still no phone call decided to go pick it up Monday the 3rd. Got up there they said the part came in Friday and would take about an hour to fix, so I waited. About 45 minutes later they said another part was bad and that it was on order. I talked him into sending the part to my house so I could put it in. Hooked up my camper and left, told my wife as we left we might get the part and we might not. Will never set foot on Camping World property again. Please if you read these reviews pay attention and stay from them. They are nothing but rip-off artists.

I feel like camping world has burned me. I have a new Keystone Cougar that the power converter went out on our second time camping Labor Day weekend. No lights No AC. We took it to the service department on Labor Day expecting it to be fixed. Today is October 3rd and it is still not fixed. Probably not till 10/28..... Be very wary of the disappearing warranty from Keystone and the service from Camping World. Warranty Approval and the shipping of parts is ridiculous. Would hate for anyone to get burnt like us. Signed making payments and have no camper.

We purchased a toy hauler in July 2016. The outside shower was broke, and Chad okayed them to order us a new shower thing. Well it is now the beginning of October and nothing has happened. They were supposed to order it and have it sent to the charleston SC store to have it installed. No one there knows anything about it. We have called gone into the Columbia store, no one will return our calls. They say they will call us right back. Ha. We went to the charleston store, talked to people there said someone would call us. Nope. Went in there last week and Chris the service Dept manager said he will see what he can do. He called Columbia while we were there left messages. Still waiting on a call from him. We just call Columbia yet again. Sales person said he will check into it and call us back. We have bought 3 campers from Camping world, 1st from Savahana GA, horrible camper, took it camping the first time had nothing by problems, 2nd camper we bought from myrtle beach camping world, had problems but their service Dept acted on it. I love their service dept. Now I think we have learned our lesson. Most camping worlds will say what you want to hear, just to make a sell. After you buy it and leave you are a nobody to them. Go else where to purchase a camper. That's my recommendation.

Took our motorhome to Camping world. $742.00 convertor. Battery dis-connect solenoids no good. (they said).1300.00 to fix them. found online for 59.00. Had to have towed to another shop. While at camping world there were four customers that had nothing good to say about them. I will never go back to Camping World. They think they are the cats meow for RV'ers. You will never walk out of there satisfied, whether it be buying one from them or repairs. Our motorhome stopped running before we got it home (short distance). Had to have it towed to a small independent repair shop. Lesson learned

I took my class A to Camping World in New Braunfels Texas to have a couple of minor things repaired. It sat there for 2 1/2 weeks and they did nothing. If you can avoid taking your RV to them you will be much better off they will only *** you off.

Bought a new 2016 windsport thor. In june of this year. sales dept sold it to us and said they would replace everything that was broken or missing because it had be used at RV shows. Then when we brought it back to have everything fixed or repaired, they gave us nothing but *** from the sales dept. Claiming it was a used model not new. Even though I was told they would fix everything. They were hreat while they were selling us a 130 thousand dollar rig. But now they dont want to do anything. We contacted Thor. And they gave us another repair place that they work with to get everything done and fixed right. We will never deal with camping world again. We will tell everyone we know do not purchase anything from these guys. The sales people are crooks like car dealers. You will not be happy if you purchase from this company. You never get calls back. Once they have your signatures on the loan papers.

12/15. Bought a 2001 Monaco Knight, no warranty. Salesman was very good. Nice looking coach but that's were it ends. They inspected the coach and I thought that was strange but I understand now. Items replaced since purchase from CW. All 4 shocks were shot. Replaced Exhaust manifold had a major crack. Replaced Tires 9 years old. Replaced King pins didn't pass recent inspection. Replaced 2000 miles driven ABS light on when I test drove unit. After inspection at CW, Light still on when I left CW. I was hoping CW would be different from previous onsite owner but they aren't. I would not recommend Harrisburg CW to buy anything except store items. I just glad my family wasn't hurt driving this RV. I feel I have a very good Motor home now but no thanks to Camping world.

Camping World Hillsboro Oregon worst customer service

I bought a 2016 fifth wheel. I felt I got a good price and was happy with my purchase. I spent a total of $56k on the unit and a hitch and stuff from the store. During delivery the self level faulted and Scott said because the ground wasn't level. It did the same thing when I got home and the ground is level. After delivery I drove across the street and took a pic. I then took one trip and later found the microwave dish was missing, *** in the rubber roof and damage and a decal that had damaged. I looked at the pic I took after delivery and the damage was there. Several calls,messages,e-mails and the passage of one week led to no results. Worst customer service I ever experienced, no one returned my calls. I then sent a very direct email to the GM Patrick and he apologized and that was it, still no solution to my problems. I had to patch the roof myself because it started raining. That place should be shut down and their business license revoked.
