Camping World - 2017 Thor Motor Coach Freedom Elite Rv Review from Opelika, Alabama

My husband and I bought a 2017 class c Freedom Elite motor home on 9/22/2016. Oxford location. Was happy with our choice. Saleslady very nice. We were treated nice and had a pleasent buying experience. My husband went back on Tuesday 9/26/16 to take our tradein and pick up new camper. Camper supposedly was road ready. Everything should have been checked and made sure. On the way home when rounding a curve, the sliding doors to bedroom came open and busted completely off. Major damage to door. Also realized slideouts had not been chalked and several other issues. My husband called to see when it could be fixed. Was told it would be 4-8weeks before they could get to it. Are you kidding me??? We paid for a brand new camper and that is exactly what we expected to get. Especially since it was your fault for the damage to start with. Your customer service stinks!!! You were all honey and sugar before we signed the dotted line. We were told yall had horrible customer service but now know it first hand. We are having the doors repaired and you will be getting the bill. Needless to say we will discourage everybody we see from purchasing from you. An unsatisfied customer Robert & Betty McConnell

I can't speak for Hanovers sales department but thier service sucks. We bought a 2015 pop up in 8/15 from CampingWorld in Indiana. We found warranty issues and took it to Hanover because we live in Maryland. They had it for 2-1/2! Months and requested the camper be set up upon our arrival to pick it up. We arrived on a rainy day and it was not set up. I was angry but they assured me the work was done. 3 months later we opened the camper up for our first camp out and we discovered the was had not in fact been done. We complained to CampingWorld Corp and they jumped on Hanover to get thing right. We took pop up back in 6/16 and they fixed the warranty items but told me we should replace one of the bed sliders. I took it back on 9/10/16 and called them on 9/23 telling them I will pick I up on 9/25. The manager said ok "by the way you have *** in your roof?" I went to pick it and asked if it was a pin hole. They were evasive and said they fixed it. I saw a big gob of caulk on the roof. After removing the caulk I saw a huge gash in the roof. I called the service manager and the discussion got heated because he tried tell his people didn't do it and insinuated I made the hole larger by removing to caulk. They are a bunch of incompetent *** who can't even hitch a trailer correctly. (That's a whole other story).

Was looking to purchase a Ketstone Retreat 39BHQS. They were offering it at almost $40,000. I had a trade in 2012 Starcraft NADA low retail of almost $24,000. The salesman came back with a trade in offer of $8,000 . Needless to say I got up and left. Today I see there offering it at $34,000. How much do these bandits need to make on a sale. What a rip off. Never will I go back to Camping World. Beware they need to make big bucks at your expense.

I had to wires ran for a break controller. One for for the electric breaks, other was to keep the RV battery charged while traveling.

1.5 hours of labor cost me $204.00 Their excuse was they had to drill *** through the firewall.

I wil be going to the Better Business. Come on $129.00 a hour for labor?

Camping World - 2016 Keystone Rv Cougar Rv Review from Salisbury, North Carolina

We were told when we purchased the keystone cougar that they having camping world facilities everywhere and we would never have a problem getting help if we needed it. Not true. We had ours set up near Emerald Aisle. They do not service our area. We have issues with the refrigerator in 90 degree weather it stays in the 50s. The camper will not level, even their drivers had a problem with it, the wheels in the back are still up, the remote does not work, and now the awning will not roll in. It will not even roll in manually. Ready to get a lawyer and return the RV. Stressed with the storm coming. We had to return home with the awning out.

We sent our camper in during the first week of June. We are STILL waiting for it to get fixed. I was told there was a "paperwork error". They have had our camper for over 4 months. We just missed our entire summer of camping. I HATE CAMPING WORLD!!!

I have tried to e-mail CEO of camping World but have not heard a peep. I took my RV into the Oakland Ga location for repairs after only having it two months. It took over nine weeks, biggest problem I have is lack of customer service, I get all excuses as to why it's not done. They never contact you to give you status, it's up to you to stay on top of them. When I got it home found problem and called them and of course the service dept is busy and will call me back. That never happened. This is no way to run a company that runs off their customers. I've move from camper to RV and next purchase just maybe with someone else.

Camping World Rv Repair Review

Bought a 2016 keystone premier. All went good. Went camping first time in it. Found few minor things I wanted them to fix that was covered by warranty. Plus there was a recall on wiring on the AC. So made an appt at local camping world. 6 weeks later these *** still not moved it from where I unhooked it. Keep calling get run around. About to tell them they can just have it back.

Camping World in Arden Hills, Minnesota - The worst service

Camping World is only interested in selling you their products. They have the rudest, most inept service department in the business. This is not based on just one experience. If you buy from this company, be prepared to find someone else to fix it. I think The Profit could benefit from paying attention to his own business. once they have your money, you are a mere annoyance. RVs break and fail all the time, so ask yourself, do you want to give your money to someone who will not or can not repair it? I would give minus stars if possible. Be warned!!
