Camping World - Delivery Service Review from Laval, Quebec

Def don't order anything from this company if you live in Canada. Ordered a cover they said 3-5 business days waited for 2 months after numerous calls of them saying this week. Ended up having to cancel order tired of waiting then they credit my credit card $35 short cause of the exchange so overall it cost me $35 and 2 months of waiting because they couldn't deliver the product they promised me...not Okay terrible business

Camping World in Clinton, Maryland - The motorhome is actually a "CLASS F"!

Dear Winnebago! We purchased your 2016 Vista XL 35F from Camping World in Hope Mills, NC on Saturday October 22, 2016 at what we thought was a great price on our new retirment RV. The motorhome is actually a "CLASS F"! Here is the list of problems with your product that we have identified in the last four days: 1. Level jacks out of calibration. 2. Driver's-side slide out failure - out of timing. Retracts after only several attempts. 3. Passenger side privacy curtain slide - three mounting screws stripped causing the curtain to fall. 4. Ford chasis Brake Reserve System Failure warning lights for Reserve Pump System Failure - Vehicle is now inoperable. 5. Light in water/sewer compartment blew out first time the switch was tuner on. 6. Rear back-up camera not set correctly. 7. Carpet stained. 8. The letter "S" in VISTA on the dashboard fell off. As I stated above, we bought this five days ago and this is the list that we have so far. The Motorhome is now inoperbale and sitting in our driveway in Woodbridge, Virginia. On Wednesday October 26, 2016, your Service Tech "Mitch" hung up on me after I questioned him about these issues and he advised me that they were not Winnebago's problem. Really??? Is that your corporate attitude for shoddy work? What is Winnebago going to do for us??? Camping World is scrambling to try to do something. Please advise ASAP.

I understand. We bought a Coleman camper and it was there during the Matthew Hurricane and they moved another camper and it sideswiped our camper and caused all kinds of damage and it's been in their shop for now 6 weeks total and it was already in Shop for four weeks just to repair the heating elements. Note that we only had this camper for a title of 5 months

Camping World in Wallkill, New York - TV cable still not repaired

Brought the camper to Camping World because TV cable was not working. They had told me it was fixed but they did not test it because they didn't have cable to test it. Took the camper out cable still did not work. I brought it back a week or so ago they said they would take care of it. They have not worked on it and it is still sitting in the yard. It costs me time and money to bring this camper back and forth. I think Mr. Marcus should look at his own company instead of buying other companies on his TV show. Very unhappy Thank you Patrick Mulholland

Update.... They have RV now going on 60 days, they did fix the windshield they broke, but, they broke more tile!!! They installed a GPS unit ( that was supposed to be in it from the start) but, messed up the dash doing it!! Put deck scews in it !!!! Camping World Corp. so far has been NO help..... Camping World Akron Ohio is the worst store EVER!!! And maybe Camping World as a whole.... Yet to be seen....

I buy a brand new at the time, 2014 keystone montana, and a 84 month term good sam Extended Service Contract. I called the ESC company listed on the contract and ask if the black sewage tank is covered, they said yes and to contact camping world service department to schedule a diagnostic&repair. So I call CW and am told they are all busy right now and they will return my call later that day..... Never called me back. Next day I call them again only to be told again they are all busy and will call me back ASAP, I said " you all told me that yesterday morning and I never got a callback and I NEED this fixed now!!" Well I'm sorry sir (she said, and continued) we are doing the best we can and we will contact you just as soon as I have a technician available to assist you. I have had to use that good sam ESC before and it's *** near impossible to get them to cover costs for covered parts, and they will try to blame the problem away on me and say "we will not cover the costs because you could have done {this and this} to prevent it from failing" BULL ***!!! I PAID $5000 FOR THIS SERVICE CONTRACT BECAUSE THE SALES GUY AT CAMPING WORLD SAID IT WILL BE A VERY SMART, VERY COST SAVING INVESTMENT!!!!! Again I call BULL ***! GOODSAM DOES NOT WANT TO PAY FOR ***! Camping world service department in St. George, UT has the most incompetent, ignorant service people! You ask them to use the ESC to pay for any covered part, and they just act like they didn't hear me and expect me to pay for it out of pocket!

I have been lied to, yelled at and they specifically called me a liar. I usually buy a new motor home every few years.

Their loss. We need to come together and get something done.

Camping World in San Marcos, California - Poor Customer Service

I purchased a Coleman Mach 8 Cub, and received it damaged. Camping World would not allow me to take it to one of their stores for resolution. Since I already had it on my motor home roof they offered a $50 discount and $25 certificate. After threatening to take them to court, and stating I would make a BBB complaint (after promises, and many calls) I finally received my $50 check. This took over 2 months. I submitted a BBB complaint. It has now been over 3 months. It appears that maybe we are finally getting somewhere, but I still do not have the $25 certificate. WHY DOES A CUSTOMER HAVE TO GO THROUGH SUCH INCOMPETITENCE??? I hate doing any business with this organization, and go out of my way do do business with other RV businesses.

Camping World in Grain Valley, Missouri - Poor service

I purchased a new Forest River Vibe two months ago, but had to return for problems with unit. It has set in the shop for over two weeks and they cannot tell me when it will be ready. They claim they cannot get parts from Forrest river and that Forrest river is hard to deal with. Why do they sell Forrest river products if they cannot service them. Unit was minus slide crank, grill propane hose, and refrigerator lock. Water tank would not fill, TV will not receive signal, furnace will not work and furnace vent door fell off. They also sold me extended service when they cannot even cover the year warranty. Very disappointed!

OH BOY WHERE DO I START!! We bought our first motorhome trading our 5th wheel and it is one of the BIGGEST MISTAKES we ever made. From the moment we drove it off the lot things fell apart from the sky lights falling out, floor sqeeking, the air conditioner not cooling it off at ALL.. The tires blowing out due to the vaule stims coming out between the tires, the cable not working, the hinge on outdoor kitchen falling off, to the kid that put the tv bracelet on at camping world that drilled *** all the way through to the outsde of motorhome which was repaired. But dont settle for camping world if you can buy a camper at this place you can buy one any place. We are trading ours off after 4 months for a Jayco 5th wheel... CUSTOMER SERVICE IS ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!!!!!

WOW!..I have a complete opposite experience. We purchased the

FE-29 a year ago.

We pulled a Jeep Wrangler, and traveled through SC, AL, MS, LA, FL for 3 weeks. We previously had a GMC2500 HD, Denali and pulled it to Sturgis. The FE-29 was Great to drive, has lots of room, all the electronics work, and we just enjoyed it. Everything worked, and is still working.

We take routine trips to Parks 50-75 miles away and have not had one issue. I guess the adage that you can't please everyone applies, and also bad news always gets more attention than good news.

My News is Great, and I would recommend the Thor FE-29 to anyone who wants to have a Great Time in an RV. Jim Roberts, Retired USA

Beware of Camping World in East Ridge Tennessee

Just bought a 2016 Crossroads Camper at East Ridge, the price was padded with dealer prep charges and freight. After receiving shipment I noticed that the unit was not cleaned, there was no spare tire, there was no prep and the walkthrough orientation was incomplete. I'm not saying don't buy from these people, I never will again, just beware of all the items that normally come with these type purchases. I have never in my 69 years ever bought any kind on vehicle without a spare tire. Any item I need for the camper will never be purchased from Camping World, and I will never do business with them. Bunch of cheats!
