12/13/2016 finally received the parts from camping world, which they already had, after intervention from forest river. Now we have an appointment at another local dealer to fix it after Christmas. We will see....

Camping world in Asheville is the worst experience in my lifetime. Rude, lazy, unorganized, ignorant, never pick up the phone, never call back an if you accidentally get someone on the phone, they brush you off an lying. Oh and if you drop by without a appointment, they don't like that at all. I bought a 20k+ expensive travel trailer even though i was warned by reviews. Never should had done it. Why i bought there was, they was the only dealer around 100 miles who had the specific camper, a forest river vibe 2268rks. Thay gave us a similar price like rv wholesale in ohio, so we bought it. That was the good part. On our first trip, we experienced issues, wire from slide out broken, tv connector no function, tongue jack light not working and brakes rubbing and locking up. During our 4 day stay we tried to call camping world at least 20 times to tell them, we drop the camper off on our way back home. No, no friendly hello- just: you have an appointment? Well i said, if you would had picked up the phone, you would know, why im here. They literally refused to help us, until we talked to the manager. What followed was 5 weeks ignoring our calls, blaming forest river, lying and then no answer at all. They even told us, forest river declined warranty. We was already in contact with forest river and knew they where lying. Forest river never received a warranty work order from camping world and we got confirmed, all parts are available and ready to be sent out as soon as they have the request. Forest river even tried to call camping world, but they never picked up or returned the call. We cave camping world the phone number and the manager said- this is not how they work : don't tell us, how we have to do our jobs. After hearing nothing for 2 more weeks, i decided to go up there. My camper was in the last corner, filthy dirty together with at least 20 other obviously not repaired trailers. Of course untouched. I was steaming and admit, not nice and loud. Well, who would be not? Funny how people react, when you treat them with the same respect they treat you. The manager ,a young guy pulled the principal ofice number and wanted to tell me, how i have to talk to them and he - and i cite- said: we did not received parts, forest river refuses waranty and this is what you get, when you complain and tell us, how to do our job". Yes, he really said it and exactly this way. I just answered : hold your breath, young man, I'm here to pick it up. He literally kicked me out, guarded me to the counter to get the key and the guy who pulled my camper up handled it very rough. I just didn't want to make more trouble, but this experience - im not the only one, treated this way, as i learned from other reviews. For the future - i will avoid camping world like the devil holy water and urge everyone else to do so too, until they learn, how to treat good customers. The worst thing- now every time i look at my camper, i think abou this under earthly *** decision i made, to buy something from them. One is for sure- i need a lot of stuff- but i will not ever spend another dime at camping world.

Camping World - Rv Repair Review

Camping World produces TV ads touting the number of service centers nationwide. Gives consumers the idea the have help closeby. They can help but you will wait forever to get it. Needed help in Council Bluffs, IA on way home to Florida in mid September and was cheerfully told thr could get us in in October to take a look. No idea how much longer to actually get repair done. We have had 4 experiences like that in 4 years. The entire RV industry sucks when it comes to service aftet the sale. Don't be mislead by their ads.

Was quoted a price two times on phone drove 1 1/2 hours to store to put a new refrigerator was told a 4 hour job had to stay over a extra day from Wednesday 8:30 am to Thursday 5:30 pm then was charged 400. Over what we were told and workers left a mess in floor took them 40 minutes to find our fifth wheel when we finely could pick it up and refrigerator doors were on backwards had to redo

Camping World in Bartow, Florida - Seat Covers

To whom it may concern, Today, November 10th around noon we stopped at Camping World in Bartow Florida. We were very disappointed with the service we received. We were looking for seat covers so we asked at the service desk and they redirected us to the front desk. I asked them if they had seat covers for a 2012 Fleetwood Bouder, flex steel type, and the lady was working on the computer and didn't seem to want to help me. She answered that there were some on the back wall. We checked and there was only a few sets and none would fit our RV. I went back in front and asked the lady and asked her if there was a possibility to order some to fit the RV. After I insisted that other companies could order them, she finally got up from her seat and grabbed a catalogue from under the shelf and slammed it on the counter. She told me to look in the catalogue myself. I could understand that if she was busy but they were not. No customers at the desk. I then explained to her that I was in Sebring Florida and had stopped before going to Camping World at Camper Corral and they told me if I had my FIN # that they could order directly from Flex Steel and order the one that would fit my RV. I have a hard time to believe that the size of the Camping World company, that they a small company can order directly from the company and you people can't. Furthermore, every year that we come to Florida (the past 6 years) we stop in Bartow. The first year they were very friendly but after the first year it changed an awful lot. You always feel like you are bothering them. Finally, I told my wife that I wanted to get out of there so we left. I was very upset and we walked out. I wanted to bring this to your attention because your store is # 1 for the beautiful items that you carry. I am very disappointed with the service that we received today. Thank you

You said it right. Unwilling lazy and unfriendly staff letting you feel, you disturb them.

Never again. That's the reason, why companies like amazon having such success.

Camping World in Jacksonville, Florida - Warranty work on travel trailer

I purchased a new Heartland RL 250 from Camping World Jax , in March 2016. Sales dept. was spot on ! (and fast) Took camper in for warranty work on October 18th (approval needed from manufacturer) I stated to the SM that I needed the camper back by Nov. 17, so I would pay out of pocket for repairs and wait on vendor to approve /disapprove the repair. Now its Nov 10th and they haven't ordered the parts/awning needed for repair! When calling any of the three contacts, I always get voicemail and not much of any resolution. I even called corporate to discuss my situation and have not received a return call from them. I would certainly reconsider purchasing from this location.

We will never buy anything from camping world found a class A rv agree on price put 1000.00 down then drove 7 hr to get there stayed in hotel tell morning got there spent 6 hr not agree on interest rate and rv was not ready I think I should have walked away but that said they whorls fix but they didn't so that why I'll never go to camping world

Camping World in Humble, Texas - No customer serves it`s all about charging

Terriable experience, I pulled in for warranty work on the refrigerator and then asked then if they could give me an idea what it would cost for a scratch on the side and they told me it would be $135 for someone to look at it and write an estimate . The next day they called and said the coach would`t start (new batteries were installed two months prior to arriving at the shop) now they want to charge $1000 for two batteries and they need an answer by 8:00 A.M. They apparently left something on and ran the batteries and the wound`t ever jump it off. It`s all about how they can take advantage of people. These people are crooks
