Camping World - Total disappointment

We scheduled an appointment at the Tucson Camping World to have a vent/fan installed in our trailer. We paid for the vent and service ahead of time and arrived 15 minutes early. They had us disconnect upon arrival and said it would be done within the hour. We checked after waiting 45 minutes and the trailer had not moved. We asked other people in the service department and they just said that it shouldn't take too much longer. After waiting another 30 minutes we approached the service reps again. They said they were really backed up and no one was free to install the vent yet. The employees, I feel, were very inconsiderate of our time and energy. We were given a refund and they did move the trailer out from where they parked it so we could hook it back up ourselves. Two hours of frustration and lousy customer service.

I HAD A 9 AM APPOINTMENT,WAITED TIL 4 PM.HAD TO BEG TO GET A HITCH PUT ON SO I CAN DRIVE 2 HOURS HOME FOR THE 5TH TIME.6PM THERE CLOSING,NO RUNNING LIGHTS AFTER INSPECTION.LARGE METAL BAR RUBBING TIRE.THEY SAID ITS FINE.I BLEW A TIRE ON I95.GOOD SAM NEVER CAME.THEN GOT OFF AT MY EXIT,NO BRAKES ON TRAILER.ALMOST A 24 HOUR DAY.I CALLED DEALER NEXT DAY.HE SAYS WE GAVE YOU A GOOD DEAL,IT HAD BRAKES WHEN IT LEFT.WHAT LOW LIFES,NOT CARING ABOUT ANYONE SAFETY.THEY HAVE THIRTY DAYS TO GET MY TITLE.I SEE IN OTHER POST THEY PLAY GAME WITH TITLE.

Camping world hope mills North Carolina Fayetteville just sucks! You buy a motor home,and then they don't know you.a bunch of older lady's in tight jeans looking foolish.the g.m.is on mars!!

There all over the internet with shady saleman,horrible used rvs!There GENERAL MANAGER is very well known for doing nothing at all.he just eats popcorn all day.when there's a problem he is no help at all.he plays GAMES when you call.

These people at this store are low life money hungry pigs.they don't care for your safety or the safety of others on the road.my brother got ripped off by the general manager,then on the way home his trailer came off.he never touched it,only camping world of hope mills.he was so mad he was going to go to the general managers home.

Camping World - Horrible!!!!!!!

We bought our trailer new and the incorrect information was given to us about the features. When we went to pick it up after we were told it would have things inspected and fixed, four days later nothing was done or right. We lifted the trailer and the brake lines were hanging on the ground. When we got home and we put the cover on it there were things broken. We had to take it back. The employees are not empathic about anything. They don't even greet you with a smile after you spent a butt load of money. I am so disenchanted with the company. I even sent a complaint to the CEO with no response. There is so much I would like to say but, there is not enough room. No more business from me in the future.

Camping World - Caping Wolrd Charleston sc horrible customer service and beyond horrible service department

We took our 5th wheel to camping world in Charleston sc, they had it for 7 weeks! Some of the siding blew off the camper on the front left side! Our insurance adjuster told us to take it to them, said they do a good job! Well we didn't have a choice but to take it to them because all the other places we could take it were far off! We already didn't like this camping world because they are always rude there. They wrote on our paperwork no rush which we didn't say! Also we didn't call and bother them until the 6th week asking when it was going to be ready! They said it wasn't ready do to the hurricane which was a lie they had it 3 weeks before the hurricane! So the lady I talked to said it would be ready on Tuesday never called and told us for sure that it was ready so we finally called back and asked on the thursday after she had said it would be ready! My husband went and picked it up that Thursday afternoon and it was dark so he didn't really get to look at it good! On Friday he looked at it and the camper is all messed up and terrible work! They didn't even put all the screws in so I don't know how he didn't loose the front hull of the camper, they didn't clean the old caulking off of the camper on the front lip or the window they had to take out. The also didn't even caulk the front so water can get in and the way they put caulking behind the window on top of the old caulking water can get in the camper through the window too. The put a piece of wood where they had to cut the camper on the side to fix because they didn't take the whole side off and fix it with one piece they patched it, they didn't even take two seconds to cut the piece of the wood at the top so where they pulled the rubber roof back over to caulk it isn't flush with the camper so now water can get in there because they didn't caulk where the piece of wood goes up and one foot on each side! They do horrible work and to have had my camper for 7 weeks there is no excuse for this! We called them to tell them and they told us to bring the camper in and they would work with us to get it right, but we in return told them to get someone out to our house and pick it up! So today they had someone pick it up! I think they should have to fix the camper and fix it right plus give us a store credit, they had it for 7 weeks and its a horrible job done on my camper! This cost $4000 and as bad as it looks it looks like it shouldn't have even cost $4! I am writing this review on here, I'm blasting it all over facebook and calling my insurance adjuster and sending him pictures so he doesn't refer anyone else to them because they suck at customer service and they have no pride in their work! I am beyond ticked this is horrible!

Tired of the BS from Camping World in Nashville, TN

Camping world has had my RV more this year than I have. After having it for over 60 days for minor repairs and being told all was taken care of, when I went to pick it up most of the repairs were not done. I was lied to about the repairs, over charged for repairs and taken advantage of. There were personal items that were also stolen from my RV. Parts were cannibalized from my RV. Things that worked before did not work now. There was body damage that was not there before. An awning was almost pulled off of the RV. After 30 years in the Marine Corps I know how to inspect things and hold people accountable. When I brought this to the service director's attention he said he would take care of it. So I took it back in to be completed. Well after another 60 days I have no idea where I stand. Repairs may or may not have been made and we are still waiting on a part that was originally supposed to have been received 3 weeks after I brought it in. Still no part. Reimbursements from Camping world for Warranty work that we had done is like getting Congress to take a pay cut. Forget it. Customer service is next to non existent and they really don't care once they get you to sign your life away for a landlocked boat that you just throw money into it. If you are thinking about buying an RV, DON'T.

Camping world asheville same thing- I picked mine up after 5 weeks unrepaired and untouched bUT dirty and filthy. They blamed it on the manufacturer response and no parts- bs- I was in contact with the manufacturer and all parts are over night available, they just need to order them and never did.

U have now an appointment at a local dealer, where the manufacturer knows, they are good. Never again camping world. And the rude staff- seems there is a pattern US-wide.

As soon as they got your money, they want you never come back. I help them with that.

Purchased a new Trailer, first timer at Fort Myers ,Florida Right from my very first time going to purchase needed items I had problems with LACK of customer service. A year 1/2 later it is no better, it seems to be a company wide issue after reading other reviews. No one ever wants to help you. Camping World is known for this. They need to send them all to training or better yet fire everyone and start over. I am looking to trade in my trailer at this time, spoke to two different Camping Worlds about other units, no call backs. I'll be looking at other dealers. .

Camping World - Three months since purchase and no title.

Chose a motor coach on 8/3/2016 and left a $5,000 deposit. Took delivery on 8/15/2016 and paid in full. Were told the paperwork for our title would be mailed. Today is 11/16/2016 and we still have not received the title paperwork. Were told the title was an Ohio title several times, now being told it is a Florida title. We are on our 3rd temporary tag and it expires this week. Before the sale we were lied to about a chemical odor in the coach. Our sales agreement stated the coach would be cleaned and it was not. Calls were not returned or slow to return. It took 4 requests to receive the 3rd temporary tag and we drove home from Florida on an out of date temporary tag. Our bank wants the title and we are not getting answers.

be careful if do business with these people they will lie to our face. they are very good at it. customer service doesn't exist. our for that matter service in general. WE got a new motorhome we were told that we would get seat cushions for the front seats of the motorhome. we never got them. it took months to get everything done on the motorhome and still we did not get cushions. we were lied too every time we talk to them I well never do business with them again. there are still trying to the things that should done months ago. we are on month number 4
