RUDE RUDE AND NO CUSTOMER SERVICE

If you go to Camping World beware of Don (and older guy) who will be wearing a black shirt sitting at the front of the show room. He has a bad bullish attitude and thinks he owns the place! My husband and I just drove 2 hours round trip to shop for a motorhome and were prepared to put down a nice deposit. We specifically called in advance and spoke to their receptionist if there store policy allows customers to walk and browse on their own -- we were advised "yes" -- when we arrived the same receptionist greeted us and remembered our conversation and stated "you are the couple that wants to walk on your own" -- she further stated, just approach the guys sitting at the podium and they will point you in the right direction. As instructed my husband approach "Don" and followed the receptionists directions. And here is how it went: Husband: Hi, my wife and I are here to look at a Motorhome and we would like to be un-escorted Don: I dont think so, you aint goin out there without me! (in a bullish angry voice) Husband: Well we called in advance and we were advised by the receptionist that it is okay Don: I dont give a *** what she said - she dont own this place Husband: Excuse me??? Don: You heard what I said u aint goin out there!!!! I will be going out there with you or you aint goin out there!! Wife: Is there a problem? (as I was approaching the situation) Don: There aint no problem here lady (in a very angry agitated voice) Husband: Excuse me do not speak to my wife like that Wife: OMG - I cant believe you are talking to us like this? Don: Well believe it -- yall can leave !!! Husband: Hey -- do not talk to my wife like that -- you need to apologize! Don: I aint apologizing -- yall can leave Wife: I want a Manager Husband: Let's go...we will handle outside their facility Yes, this guy really works at Camping World #NEVER AGAIN#NEXT TIME SHOPPING AT#HOLIDAY WORLD#DEMONTROND RV# TERRY VAUGHN#LONE STAR#PPL MOTORS

Camping World Rv Repair Review

If you need work done do not ever go to camping world lowell ar, they can't fix problems right they life to you and refuse to answer messages. After 6 trips totally 1200 miles still don't have my ac fixed. Of by the way they started in Oct '15 it's now June 21, 2016 and it's still in there shop. Oh also it's a brand new Winnebago motorhome.

Campground

We are full time RV'ers and love to travel to different campgrounds, with summer here and the joys of having our grandchildren joining us were very exciting for us, however we found out that Camping World in Chattanooga TN will not be opening their swimming pool, why have a beautiful campground that has a pool but not open it??? Many disappointing campers and I will surely pass on to all our camping friends that this is a complete shame and to find another campground, People traveling in the summer in campgrounds look for campgrounds that have pools I hope this campground loses many campers!!!!!!! OPEN THE POOL!!!!!

Purchased a 2014 Thor Four Winds from Camping World in Harrisburg, PA. We do a lot of dry camping so made it clear, after paying their $1000 prep charge, I wanted everything checked. Especially for water leaks. When we did the walk through, we had the cleaning people come back twice to redo. Their check list was all checked off as completed but it certainly was not. The water pump wasn't even tested because they hook the water hose to the city inlet. The service tech didn't even know where the water pump was. I also found that the fresh water tank had about 2 gallons of antifreeze in it. Camping World offered us a $250 gift certificate which I did accept. I would not trust their service dept. at all!

Heartland was went above and beyond to send us the parts to replace the issues. Took our camper into Camping World at Oakwood to get an estimate on repairs this is how we picked it up. ************BUYERS BEWARE Buying anything from Camping World ********* This is a response i received from Camping World corporate office Hello Dawn, We did receive your emails, however, this case has been closed. They have had my camper for six months in the service department to fix warranty problems.no one will call you back' they lie about what has been done or not done. They blame the manufacture for everything. They are rude! they have had my camper longer than I have since I have owned it. Who in the heck ownes or runs this place? Don't go to Camping World -- bad service

I can't say enough about how bad my experience was with Camping World. Right now my RV is stuck there in their service department, and I am in limbo because nobody from their service department will contact me after repeated calls to them. I started reading reviews online, and it appears I am not alone in my experience. I contacted Good Sam Club, which is somehow affiliated with Camping World. I do not know what is their relationship with Camping World, but I think it is pretty strong. I think they either have the same poor corporate culture as Camping World or they just don't care either. One review I read mentioned his next call would be to his lawyer. While I am not the litigating type, I think that may have to be my next step -- after all, Camping World has my RV, and if they won't contact me, my RV is stuck there.

Brand new motorhome unuseable

I was told the bed folded out but no one would demenstrate. I looked in manual and YouTube no luck called salesman no callback. I had to wait till February, 3 mos. to get appointment. Service was rude and blamed me. They said the bed was installed wrong then legs bent I knew that was wrong. Finally got salesman to check with Thor and found the bed was supposed to have a mattress and would take another two weeks to get. We have been without the use of our rv for 5 mons. I called the manager of camping world in okc. He said he would care of it! Never called back so far and won't in my BAD experience with camping world.

Camping World Customer Care Review

My boyfriend and I just left Camping World in Oxford/Anniston. We drove 30 mins to get there. No one assisted us. No one asked us if we needed help. Very poor customer service. Very disapointed in this large facility that obviously had a lot if emoloyees.

Horrible customer service

Very dissappointed with this company. Its now been three weeks and still waiting for my order. They have told us three times it has been shipped and still nothing. Called customer service and they were very unhelpful. Now we are going on vacation without the item we paid for over three weeks ago. They tried to blame UPS and said UPS put the wrong address on the label. Thats *** because UPS doesn't put the labels on. Discussed with UPS man and he said he cpuld deliver it Saturday. We asked for two day delivery UPS and they said UPS doesn't deliver saturday which was another lie. We will never do business with this company again. When they made several mistakes and were totally unwilling to fix the problem. Now we are going away for two weeks and the product will sit outside of our house till we get home.

Deceptive pricing during "annual maintenance"

this is the exact problem we had and why we were on this site ... when the estimate was submitted to us there was no "shop supplies" listed when we went to pick it up they had $96 listed. Most frustrating. We used the "good sam's" discount for some maintenance that the clerk had no idea now to add up or charge us for ... in the end the clerk did finally get the same discount correct and took $30 off the $96. However, that still made up for more of the discount ... what a racket we are now seeking corporate responses but are sure they will not return our call as they obviously get these complaints daily ... we have learned our lesson and will not return ... wish I could let everyone know this before they get the surprise we got.

sean was a competent salesman. good service tech sean (same name) also. tried bait and switch on predelivery service then threatened me with legal action when they didnt tell me i had a balance. happened on friday and they threatened a lawyer on sat. bring it on.they suck at customer service at the management level. clearly other reviews bear this out.

I bought a Jenson tv. I was given an inverter. I wanted a 12v power cord. The wife went back and was given the same thing. I also had to go back to buy the stand. I ended up buying the cord from Amazon,com. I could not program the tv so another trip. 20miles each. I told the lady that sold me the tv I could not program it. I needed it programmed or a refund. She immediately gave me a refund. I went to the service counter and was told you bought it here and we would be glad to help. To late. Not only did she not have ANY product knowledge she did not smile once. She us a disgrace. You made a deal with Jensen to be sole retailer for them so I was forced to buy from you. Your people are ignorant. Are you so big you do not care about your customers? 2nd. I purchased your rv ins. I got a quote on your web site and asked for a quote on drive train ins. I resceived three e mails from Jason Skilern all the same. Form letter. I never got a quote. I made another wasted trip and got a quote. I offered the lady my credit card and was told camping world would not take my money I have to use your website. Tried chat that was a joke. I could have saved a trip if I was told not to go to your store up front. Twice I have shopped at your store and been treated like garbage. I guess you are so big you do not care any more. I paid cash upgraded was not informed on how fragel porley cheep built i pulled home. & called & emailed from 1st day so finaly they set me oppt to look at and then they wanted me to take back home so they could order parts i have 27 issues in 50 miles its been there before easter they called last week said done so we went to pick up and only a few pc blue tap was gone from repairs so i unloaded took off plate went in to sales managers office whe was not willing to healp told me to take or he was going to charge storage i have to go to washington now with out my rv & no & and all are food is bad now i have to spend moore $ on motels food & no rv more $ out my father is ill just hope i make it im already late another corperattion get the cash now and wait some people dont have time only live so long i purchased in january its almost been 5 months ? Math time 27 trips ×2 at. $100.00 and half day each time = 54 trips & 54 wasted days = leaving tusan to go to washington with no rv not good what call the news ? ??
