Was looking to buy a new travel trailer yesterday in fairfield ohio. Got treated nice no problems. Looked at some used and new campers. Looked at the prices that are on the tables In campers $21,995 ok cool i like that price. I told sales guy ill be paying cash so whts cash price out the door ? He said u dont get it any cheaper then the price we have it listed also he said we charge a extra $1000 on top of full price for a finace fee. Since ur not fincaning it with a bank we are losing money and we need that extra $1000. *** that sht. They should be shut down.

Every time I have been to Camping World I have been treated like an unwelcome guest their staff are very unfriendly and slow to accommodate with an arrogant attitude Their prices are high even with good Sams discount Their service department jerks you around and are slow to do your work It's never easy to get your RV in for repairs If at all possible I will not be going back to Camping World for anything

You must be talking about Camping World of Syracuse! That whole place is run by clowns.

The service there is god awful just like the rest of the 100+ of their dealerships. I had multiple issues with them and the Regional Manager is Kevin Bostrom who is king of the clowns! I have no idea how the upper management at CW cannot see that this guy is a disaster! He is a pig farmer on the side and I bought some of his pork and it was disgusting and made me throw up for 3 days so he can't even manage pigs.

That explains where he got his girlfriend who I met one time there. Talk about a pig!

He should only be allowed to manage the Coke machine in the back of the store. Go anywhere but Camping World for anything RV related!

Went to camper show tampa 3 weeks ago picked out a camper they promised toppers for camper and a fifth wheel hitch we put 500 hundred down to hold that was jan 20th they give a posti note for deposite then next day my wife had to drive 25 miles to get reciept then they kept writing up wrong camper she had to go back 2 times to the camper show i called on a tuesday they havent even started on deal so another day passes they call still working on your deal another day passes said you got financed. But for this amount ok we spend a whole day finding a different camper then they call back agian no you have to go cheaper we have talked to 3 different people for three weeks the wost service i have ever had i have watched marcus lumuses shows thought he would have a better company then that very disipointed in camping world of tampa very poor service i think they promised us things and could not step up to the plate. Just found out camping world just lied to me when I bought my TV from them. I bought an RV that was less than a year old, but used and they repeadeldly said they would check it's condition..just found out 3 years later I need a whole new roof costing $13 ,000. I asked them to check the roof when I bought it and they told me it was OK. Then when I got it home the person doing the roof maintenance noticed it and informed me of the roof problem...it was all the staples coming out under the rubber roof. The salesman, service manager, and manager all said there is nothing they can do because it has been 3 years)even though they know they sold me a Montana RV with a bad roof and they know it. Has anyone else had such a bad experience buying an RV? My wife has Multiple Sclerosis and I have been struggling with her medical issue's for some years now and now I feel they kicked me when I am down by not standing behind theirm mistake. So my question is has anyone else been so blatantly lied to and cheated by camping world?

Service department head Tracy Smith, does not follow up on work, call customers back, or schedule pickups. Repairs are not completed because when Tracy is told what the problem is, it doesn't get relayed to men doing the repairs. If you in the process of buying they are all over you, afterwards your invisible.....

Our camper was purchased from camping world December 23 we had to bring it back for service December 27 we picked it up on February 8 and not all the repairs have been done in the meantime Tracy Smith service manager never once returned any of our six calls she said she would that day. My husband had to make visits to camping world to get an update on our camper. The answers he got were ridiculous it took six weeks to five small issues. When I finally called and said it was ready and we went down there to pick it up it still was not ready and not completed. Their customer service sucks and their service department sucks nobody knows what anybody is doing there is no quality control no follow up on the work being done to make sure it's done right. Don't bring your camper there to be serviced and less you want headaches and aggravation.

The rest of the staff apologized for the lack of good customer service an oversight on the work that was being done. No apology from Tracy.

I'm surprise she still working there. We have since brought our camper back to be repaired.

The water pump would not prime because the shower valve with elite evidently it was damaged during our cold winter park at camping world. They fixed it and returned it to us in less than a week which was great we were very happy to get our camper right back quickly.

Have had my 5th wheel in for repairs since December 1st, 2016 today February 8th 2017. You've received the 10k from insurance company been waiting 3 weeks for the last item a door to be installed. How many doors can be made in 3 weeks. Ocala Florida is all a bunch of liars and all worried about whose skirt to chase. Its like payton place atmosphere, and serious issues from management not to respond. I work for a global company and we CERTAINLY don't forget the C in customer. Do not go to Ocala Florida

Camping World Kingston, NY Broke my windshield

I brought my RV to Camping World in Kingston, NY for body repair and service work. When I picked it up the entire top was covered in snow and a heavy snow squall had developed. When I got it home I noticed a crack in the top, tinted, passenger side of the windshield, directly below where the body work had been done. I called CW and spoke to Donnie, who did the body work. Donnie told me that the person who did the detail work had brought it to his attention and I should speak to my service adviser. After much back and forth, I was advised that Supervisor, Aaron Kelsey, wanted me to go through my insurance for the repair. I said, "No, CW cracked it." Following many more emails and phone calls, including to CW Corporate, they were willing to accept half of the responsibility. CW wanted me to pay half of the cost of the repair with an estimate of $2700.00 with labor added to that. I again said, "No" and have not had any further response to my phone calls or email from anyone at CW Kingston, NY or Corporate office.I brought my RV to Camping World in Kingston, NY for body repair and service work. The worst service I have ever had. Didn't fix half of what they charged me for. Ran up the labor cost. Took them three hours to replace four house batteries. Every where else I called after the fact quoted me 1-1/2 hours?

Camping World - Installation of a Wolly Dish Mobile TV

I had a Wolly Dish TV Mobile installation in my RV. When it was installed my generator would not run long enough for its demonstration. So I scheduled a appointment to have the unit serviced. Upon returning to my storage location the mechanic there, said, they could service my generator, so I cancelled my appointment with Campers World of Myrtle Beach. Due to time restraints, we went on a trip and could not get the Wolly Dish to work, so on our return a month later, I made a appointment with Campers World to check out the unit. There was nothing wrong with the unit, but they had there service pro demonstrate on how to operate the unit, connected to their electrical supply. Why wasn't this done before with their own electrical supply, instead of sending us away to have our generator serviced ? So they charged me $150 for this work, which I complained was not right ! I will never have this place dork on my RV or do any business with them ! I will do everything I can to spread the word of their "Poor Customer Service and Business Ethics " !

Camping World - Order never received

I ordered 2 Yeti tumblers on December 6th 2016 and never got them. I emailed the company after two weeks when I didn't received them...they were to be a gift for Christmas and they advertised a two week turn around time for delivery. When I didn't get a response after two more weeks, I called customer service...you cannot reach an actual person, you have to leave your name and number and someone "will call you back". I have since repeatedly called and emailed the company but they won't return my emails or phone calls--I have had to submit a claim through my bank and Master Card to get my money back. I still don't have the items and haven't received my money back yet. Do not order from them it is a rip off!
