Camping World - Very unsatisfied

We bought a brand new camper from Camping World in Oxford, AL. We did not realize the paperwork was not correct when we left. After we discovered it, we thought we could correct it at the tag office. We could not. The tag office said Camping World would have to change it and they wrote out exactly what they needed changed on the paperwork. Camping World flatly refused. We were told they didn't care what the state said, Camping World would not make any changes. After they get your money, that's it. NO HELP AT ALL!! Do not buy a camper from Camping World!!!

We had same issue with the same Camping World. They even paid the taxes to the wrong state and gave the bank the wrong address and phone number on our loan papers. When I called and finally got someone to return my call they denied it all and said it was my problem.

Camping World in Cedar Falls, Iowa - Misrepresentation of Prices

Just had my second experience of going to Camping World to buy replacement/parts & finding the price advertised is NOT what they charged me. This time it was anode rod #42180. Price advertised was $11.27, which was comparable to others I found online. When I showed up to pick part up, the parts man hit me with the hard sell, saying that my Good Sam membership had expired & pushed for me to renew for 2 years, which includes a coupon book. I declined the offer & asked to just check out. I was then charged $24! When I asked about the difference (& showed him the price from the website), i was told "Oh, that's only for our Good Sam members". I should have learned a lesson from the past. Oh & while I'm ranting, the sales dept. wanted to give us $6k in trade for our 2012 Windjammer 3065w with

Camping World - Thor Motor Coach Rv Review

We bought a new Thor class c 3 1/2 weeks ago. When we were doing the walk through it was discovered.the backup camera did not work, neither did the radio. They said they would order it and give us a call. We have not heard from them and we have called several times and left messages and there is no call back. This is the one in Avondale AZ. I cannot say they have bad customer service, i can say they have NO customer service

Sold me a used camper which they stated they had gone through and inspected everything and made sure it all worked properly . Me being new to the camper world I trusted them and also was told they couldn't show me the tanks worked bc it was winterized . And the fuel station was empty . Once I got it home and went to Un winterize found the camper grey water tank and black water tank valves did not work and there was 3/4 of *** still in tank with no way to cut it off to hook drain pipe to so it leaked all over the drive way . Then put feul in feul station only to find out the pump is seized ! So they bold faces lied to me about completely going through the camper and now are not returning my calls .

Camping World in Woodstock, Georgia - Frustrate with the service repair/customer service.

My husband and I bought our 2017 Jayce at the end of the year last year. We have had multiple issues with it and couldn't get it in for service until last month. We finally got an appointment March 6th. As of today's date our camper is still sitting outside the service area and has not been serviced. We have received one phone call to let us know the service advisor we were working with was no longer with Camping World and a new service advisor would be contacting us. We have place multiple calls to talk with someone, and have not received a call back as of today's date March 27th. We called to talk to a manager today and was told he was in a meeting. We insisted we wanting to speak with him and was not put through. She didn't even the line to talk to anyone. She just refused to put anyone else on the line. I emailed the service department today and I am waiting on a reply. I am sure I won't receive one. We would just pick up our camper, but it has many defects. The refrigerator doesn't work, the kitchen floor is soft and needs repair. The wall by the door was busted at one point and repaired with glue instead of replacing the wood. The exterior lights won't cut off. This is just the beginning, too much to go into.

People need to go to privately owned dealerships where you are cared about instead of the Evil Giant.

I hear about the horrible service everyday but yet *** people still go back and believe their lies.

CAMPING WORLD is the worst place you can do business. Please spread the word and help stamp out this evil enterprise.

Camping World in Fife, Washington - Over priced and poor service

Long story made short. We had a good sam warranty. Hardly anything was fixed properly and we were charged outragously....Toilet had to be repaired twice, jack Went out after 6 months and other things that we were charged for and not fixed paid over $1000 for poor work!!! Would never go there for service again. They charged a fee for everything they checked out then said it couldnt be fixed under the warranty. Even though they knew ahead of time it couldnt be fixed under warranty. We will never ever go to camping world again for any kind of service on our Motorhome .

You should hear all the BADS I have to say about Good Sam Extended Warranty. My most recent is an A/C failure and a black tank crack - - they are now calling it in to the extended warranty people after 5 days - they are saying tank failed due to build build up and the A/C failed doe to corrosion from moisture - - - sounds to me they are going to try to weasle they way out of covering my problems - - I will update!!!

Camping World - Heartland Rvs Rv Review

My nightmare started 24 hours after I purchased a brand new heartland mallard from Camping World in Macon Georgia. I traveled 7 hours from Florida to buy it because they had the best price. Once I got it back to Florida I hooked up everything up at an rv park and went to work. When I came home I noticed that there was water all over the floor in front of my kitchen sink. I opened up the cabinet doors and noticed that there was water all under the sink. I couldn't figure out what the leak was coming from so I shut the water off and contacted camping world closet to me in Ft Myers. I took it in to get fixed. The called and told me that Camping World in Georgia didn't shut off some valve for winterising your rv so they told me they fixed it. Got it back from Ft Meyers hooked it all up, went to work the next day came home and it was still leaking. So I shut the water off and checked myself to see if it was shut off. Which is was NOT!! So I called Ft Meyers and then the blame game started. Ft Meyers blamed everything on Georgia. While I am trying to figure out what to do my shower started leaking and I had a leak by my front door. So I took it back to Ft Meyers. I get a call from them yesterday saying everything is fixed come pick it up. I get there today and we go in to see what all they have done. They fixed the leaks but not the cupboards. I guess they are still waiting for them. I feel on the floor where the water had been and my floor is damaged. It's really soft when I push on it. So they call the service manager to see what's going on. He tells us that the floor is not covered under warranty. They said to just dry it. How can this not be covered under warranty?? None of this would of happened if both places would of shut the valve off. Every time I call to speak to a manager in either places they are always busy, in a meeting, at lunch or something. Customer service is terrible!!! I was told that I have to call heartland direct on Monday and handle this myself I feel camping world sold me a very defective rv and they are at fault!!! It sure would be nice if the managers would call me back and stop putting the blame on each other. It needs to be fixed and Indont care who fixes it!!!!!

Purchased a 5th wheel at camping world of NJ

I had a rather pleasant experience dealing with the folks at Camping World of NJ, Lakewood location. To name a few, Greg, Megan and Dave were all helpful. After we got our camper home I had many questions and they followed up with me on all of them. I was missing one manual but Megan was on top of it and got it sent to me, she was also instrumental in answering many of my other questions. Greg was also very responsive and helpful and pleasant to deal with. I've read all the other reviews and everyone's perspective is different so if you are looking to shop there you should give them a try. Hopefully I don't have issues with parts down the line or with service like I've read some people have had, but all in all a good experience.

After 5 weeks we cannot get our Jayco 36fbts (sticker$92000.) from Camping World Byron, GA. After the sale the people cannot order correct parts, will lie to you then after 5 weeks the WILL NOT EVEN RETURN YOUR CALLS!!!

We have made a payment an this unit has NOT left their lot.

the unit has had parts taken off for another camper and damaged on lot since purchase!!!!

STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM CAMPING WORLD AS YOU CAN unless you like poor service, no caring attitude and unprofessional business practices. The sales manager Zack, the service manager Jim Lingo and general manager Chad after you sign the papers don't care and again will not return calls of the status of the unit!!!!

The service department in the Tampa store seems very disorganized. Every time info there, they act like it's a problem that I showed up without calling first. Also, the service technicians are always reluctant to help out when the one I've been using is busy.
