I flew from Oregon to Macon on the promise that the motor couch was what the said it was an ready to drive back to Oregon. When we arrived they pushed us off to sign papers we refused. We looked at the rig an we're pissed off an lied to the pics were taken so you couldn't see the damage. It just got worse. We stayed 2 days there in the couch waiting for them to fix the issues. They never fixed it all an I lost 2 days of my life. When there employee worked on the rig we found out later the his work was terrible. I had to fix everthing he worked on. They just put a bandage on the problems. They just want your money an close the deal. Thank goodness I know how to fix things. They should of reimburse me for my 2 days of *** that was suppose to be handled

Purchased a fifth wheel new September 2016 from Camping World 9 days later the wheel came off causing $8000 in damage. It has been 7 months and I still dont have my RV. I will never purchase anything from Camping World. If you are thinking about purchasing an RV or need RV repair go anywhere but Camping World

Camping World in Winter Garden, Florida - Charged $68 for 5thwheel under warranty to turn on light

Avoid this place! We purchased our Voltage 5th wheel from Camping World in 2016 and took it in in April 2017 because we couldn't get one of the lights to come on and it was under warranty, so we figured everything was covered. The first thing they did was ask for the warranty and then complained because it was only a light. Warren then told us that we needed to pick up the camper as soon as it was fixed because they didn't run a storage place. We said we could pick it up later that week. It took them over a week to figure out that the light isn't on the normal switch panel, but a separate panel. FOR THIS THEY CHARGED US $68!!! If you purchase a new car and don't know how to turn on the lights, does the dealer charge you to teach you turn them on? Or how to program the radio, etc? I don't think so! Ridiculous! I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER THING FROM CAMPING WORLD!!!!! I complained about the price when I picked up the 5th wheel to Warren who then got Josh, the Service Manager, both of them were more interested in making money than a happy returning customer. I won't renew my Good Sams membership, because it doesn't get you in any sooner for service, nor or you treated better. This was at Camping World Winter Garden, FL.

Camper Review

3 times hot water hwater not working . Table had one leg. Mind you brand new camper. Counter missing a piece, they slapped on a piece of wood not even matching the length let alone anything else. Do not buy from the crooks...they will laugh to the banlk w your money...

Tom Johnson Camping World, Marion NC

My husband and I traveled to several different dealerships this weekend looking at different makes of campers. We have in mind all the needs and wants but haven't found the perfect camper for us that has it all. The Salesman (Kevin Rice) started out very pleasant but after showing us 3 campers, he stated he was taking us back to the office because we were done. Once back at the office we asked for a quote on 2 of the campers, but he wouldn't do it. He asked if we ready to put down a down payment today. Apparently if he isn't sure you'll sign he doesn't feel the need to even treat a potential customer with any respect.

I feel your pain. Negotiated a price on the phone on a trailer, made an appointment to drive up and look at the trailer.

Upon arrival, there was someone else looking at the trailer and was walking out when we were walking in. Our salesman received a phone call while we were still inspecting the trailer to let him know it was sold out from under us. If you make an appointment to see a trailer, better put down a deposit to hold it. Money talks and this management has no integrity when it comes to making a sale.

I wouldn't buy a roll of toilet paper from them.

I guess this dog eat dog world is now a part of the good ole fashioned camping business now. Hope the salesman that sold that camper prior to our appointment enjoys his commission because he has no integrity.

Camping World - 2016 Palazzo 33.5

I do not even want to give them one star! We bought a brand new Palazzo Diesel Pusher in November of 2016as of today April 7, 2017 we still do not have it. We drove all the way from southwest FL to Camping World in Pooler GA to get this, they assured us it was ready to go After driving 10 hours we arrived to find they really had not gone through it, slides were not working, among other things and the whole back panel was cracked. They acted like they didn't even know about it. It was so obvious the whole back panel was cracked. I convinced my husband to take it because they assured us they would have it fixed. That was just the start of the problems. It is in the Fort Myers Camping World since we drove it home and dropped it right off there . Savannah store will not even call us. I have put calls in to corporate also with no response. Thor is not any help either they just say it will be fixed. It was brand new and should never have been sold in the condition it was in. It was put together so badly that every time they say it is almost done something else is broken or defective. They took our money and our trade and sold us a damaged product and tried to cover it up. I would not recommend them Thor or Camping World. Buyer beware no one cares after the sale

As of today July 9, 2017 we have just used our motor home for only the fourth time, because it has been in the shop since purchasing it in November 2016 there are still things wrong with it and every time it goes back to camping world they keep it for months and we get it back and there are more things wrong with it and its dirty and our generator now has 80 hours on it! We don't even want to bring it back there again!

I have had same experience with our miramar 34.3 purchase in CT june 2016. Dealership sold deceptively with a 2 track slide system that malfunctioned 4 times.

After 4th repair to slide, I Refused to take back and Had to hire attorney.

You should do the same. I keep seeing everyone with the same problems....

Details
Purchased what was presented as a 2000 class C motor home. Title came a week later indicating it was a 1999. Lied in equipment condition check list. Mechanic lied about parts being changed that were not. When management was confronted, said, "here, Have a gift card". Camping world misrepresents their vehicles and lies in vehicle condition reports.

Tried to contact Marcus Several times.

No response.

Says he doesn't "micro manage" his many businesses.......yeah, and it shows!

This business won't be worth what he paid for it if he doesn't get it turned around into a respectable business.....soon!

What successful business owner allows business activity without proper MANAGEMENT?

Camping World - Bogus added charges

For the final bill, they added "FRT" charges of over $200. Said this was "freight".

The warranty company pays for the retail price of the parts, which would include any shipping charges for parts not available locally, so Camping World is trying to collect twice. The workmanship was also shoddy.

Instead of a single-piece belly pan, we now have a patchwork of scraps held together by duct tape. I will be disputing the entire charge, except for the deductible on the extended service plan.

They said they accepted my extended service contract, but then they added two hours of labor to the standard approved amount, and a 20% "service fee" in addition to that! They want me to pay all these extra bogus charges, because of course the warranty company refuses to pay their invalid add-ons. The two hours was supposedly for "diagnosis", but diagnosis is included in the standard labor allocation, and is only supposed to take one hour. I was suspicious of all the signatures and initials they required, but did not go get my reading glasses. DO NOT sign anything there without a thorough review. Better yet, find an honest dealer and go there instead.

Camping World - Disappointing customer service

After the sale, Kristen Wiley, sent our tag paperwork to the wrong county out of state. The tag office that received the paperwork returned the documents to Kristen. It has now been 7 weeks and we still do not have a tag on our unit. Not only will Kristen not return our calls, no one can tell us where the paperwork is now. We have offered to drive the hour and a half each way to pick up the paperwork ourselves, but cannot get verification where the paperwork is. For eight straight days we have made multiple calls to Camping World and can get no one to help us. Not only will Kristen not return our call but Steve Moore our salesman and Tom the sales manager have not returned our calls as well. Their service after the sale is Horrible.

Service sucks and 4get about solving anything out for you.after buying a toy hauler from the one in mocksvile n.c. I well never do business with them again

Camping World - Rv Repair Review

I bought a trailer from Camping World Wood Village, Oregon and i am regretting my decision. From the moment it was picked up on Feb 1st. I ve had water leaking a small amount at first but then after begging Camping World to fix it. They finally brought back to me and the next day on a Friday i had a small lake in my traiiler. I was so angry that I personally went to there parts and service department and lost it and the problem was finally resolved. Unfortunately thou they returned the traier and now the back stabilizer doesnt work and the screen doors wont latch. I dont advise anyone to purchase from them they are not reliable and they dont care about the problems you are having. I think i was sold a lemon. My trailer is still under warranty and still this is the service i get. I think i may seek out representation.

Don't do business with camping world in Mockville n.c. and make same sure before you sign anything with them that is what you. Want.because after you do they well not help you get out of it.please don't go there for nothing.they suck big time
