Camping World - Bought Wally and King receiver...Dish doesn't know what pay as you go account was...

Bought Wally / King receiver advertized a Dish pay as you go acct....set that up ..was nightmare from day one...multiple times got huge bill from dish...last issue received bill for 6 months of service...no I have Wally/King receiver that has been used 3 times...no Dish because they did not honor the Pay as you go account as advertized in the catalog and at your store...when contacted Camping World in Denton...their responce was ...we know that happens a lot!!...but Dish pays us to advertize this promotion in the Camping World catalog and in our store....False Advertizing!!

Camping World in Dover, Florida - Frustrated buyer

On April 3, 2017 my wife and I bought a 2017 Mallard M28 trailer, at Camping world located in Dover, Fl. When signing the paper work we were asked if we wanted to buy any service contracts. We did buy one for 2526.00 plus tax and one for 1030.00 plus tax. We left the dealership at 2:30, and on the way home we decided that it was too much over our original budget we set. When we got home 3 hrs later I called the business manager Anthony Gagliardi. I told him that we changed our minds and did not want the service contracts. He said he would send out the cancellation forms and we should sign them. After three days I had to call him again and remind him. He did send them, but they were blank with nothing on them. I called him and said that wouldn't sign the forms blank. He said that's the way its done. I hung up and called Paula the Finance Manager and told her the story. She filled the forms out and sent them to us.We signed the forms and sent them back.She also said that the process would take 4 to 5 weeks before the bank would get the check. On 5/9/2017 I called Paula to give us an update. She said she would have to check with someone and she would call me later in the day. She did call back and said they needed the bank account number so they could send the money in about a week, but only for the one contract totally 2526.00 plus tax. I told her that we were paying interest on that money. She said thats the way it is. She then said if I gave her the account they would pay the first contract on 5/9/2017.She said we should check with the bank in 10 days The other contract 1030.00 plus tax could take up to 10 weeks My wife and I think that they are playing with our money. Remember the contracts were never put into use. They were canceled the same day they were bought. The total amount is over 3800.00. That is a lot of money to be floating out of our pockets. Camping World - Disorganization and ignorance is company policy

I bought a new camper trailer in Camping world and was in service for 6 months of the first year of use , under warranty, and never fixed it. They give you an appointment to repair for a month after you call, and they start working a month later. and very bad work. When leaving messages for the camping world manager they are never returned, the service manager does't do his job. I only had it when was in storage. $40,000.00 new camper trailer If you want to be unhappy buy here. Camping World - WE ARE NOT HAPPY CAMPERS

Not very happy with Saukville camping world, The were rude to me on the phone when I called them, the first person hung up on me 3 times, kept saying are you there, are you there. When the Ins. company called to talk about our claim, they did not call ins. co. back. they were also not around when ins. claim's person came over to look at the camper. This took several days to hook up with them. Then they charged the ins. co $800.00 for storage. They wanted $9000.00 to replace the roof on the camper. Said it would take 60 hours to replace. We will no longer do business with Saukville Camping World.

Camping World - Rip off!!!

Camping world replaced my gray water tank and valves for the gray and black tank WITH ONE VALVE! you could not dump the gray with out dumping the black. and they charged 1600 dollars plus for that! We settled for 500 and had the valves replaced by a mobile repair service. This was after they had charge an un reasonable amount for a replacement inverter. The service boss could not explain the inverter's operating system and they took forever for these repairs. Nothing on time or as agreed too. There had been a great inverter tech working at that location before it was Camping World, but he may have left!! Never ever ever have any work done at Camping world.

Last week I was in the store making a purchase at the parts counter on another issue and I ask if they had and Wingard Traveler Satellite dish for dish. The associate went to the computer and came back with yes we have 3. I had to make an install appointment over 3 weeks ago because they were so busy. I went in today May 7 2017 to pay for the dish and the lady went to the computer and came back with the same answer yes we have 3. The associate was gone for some time and returned saying Im sorry but we do not have any. Two of them have customers names on them and I can't find the other one. If 2 are spoken for and 1 is missing how can you 3 on hand? I have to cancel my appointment that took all most a mouth to get. I have been a member for many years I have Good Sam Insurance through you I have road side assistance. This is not the first time I have had this kind of problem but it is the first time to contact you. I am so frustrated is it possible to cancel my Good Sam Member ship, I will transfer my insurance and cancel my road service.

Do yourself a favor and stay completely away from camping world.

Find a GOOD independently owned dealership that is SERIOUS about customer satisfaction, do all your business there.

Camping World - Don't trust them

Details
Camping world took over Gander Mountain. They directed the credit card from company who held Gander Mountain store cards not to honor the awards certificates earned by purchases with the card, thus negating all benefits and earned savings by having and using the card. Moral of the story-do not get a store credit card especially from Camping World who obviously isn't honorable..In fact maybe it might be best to avoid them all together...as RV business may take a turn for the worse with rising fuel prices and then guess what they are gone and you are stuck..all to familiar scenario..

Camping World - Forever wait

We bought a 2017 202 keystone hideout. Our window was sealed, we brought it to camping world bartow fl. On march 27,2017. We were told to drop it off within 10days someone will look at the problems, so it sat, they supposedly looked at it, ordered a new window and it sits there and nothing it just sits there, nothing has been done with it, and still no window! Nothing! Then we get by may 8 yah the window should be in then it will take 2 weeks to put the window in, then we got by May 10 th the window will be in an installed. As of today, it still sits, no window. This is a brand new camper we used it twice!! Camping world has had the camper longer then we have and nothing it still sits no one doing anything, found out today....nope the window isn't in yet, we are planning a trip in June, well we get, you can just pick up the camper and bring it back when we get back in august to do the window! I want the camper back and fixed before we leave on our trip, the window needs to be fixed, if it rains the rain could get in the camper and cause more problems. We are talking a window..pop it out and put the new one in, that's it but it's been at camping world in bartow fl just sitting there since MARCH 27, 2017 and it's May 5,2017 and nothing it still just sits there!! When we first brought it there this is the steps that Misty told us 1, bring it in it will be up to 10 days just to look at it. 2. Then up to 2 weeks to get a brand new camper approve thru the warranty for the window, 3. Another 2 weeks to order the window. 4. Another 2 weeks for someone to put the window in. That's 52 days!!! Well make my payments while it takes you all this time to do nothing yet!!

Camping World - F&I Manager Diane Holston, Poor Service, misleading

On March 17, 2017 I purchased a 2014 Itasca Navion. The Financial manager Ms. Holston talked me into buying extended policies that I did not need and mislead me. For example, she said that wheels on the RV would cost several thousands of dollars. When I arrived home, I checked the wheels and discovered that these were steel wheels and would cost approximately $100 new. I called and requested that this Tire and Wheel policy be cancelled and to cancel the road side assistance. It's been 45 days since I made the request and still no refund. In fact, she has only replied to one of the numerous emails I've sent her. However, I have also sent a copy of my emails to Dan Murray, Gen Sales Manager and Keith Brahier Gen Manager, and neither of them has replied either. Poor service all the way to the top. And they talked about "we're family now". This is not how you treat family.

The sales person was very deceitful, he stated things were on my Trans Union credit report that were not there, I requested that they verify the error and they refused to do it, just continued to repeat the negative information (I feel it was so they could make more money on the deal), the finance manager got me approved me for "0" then the GM changed it stating that I had to pay $1200.00 down. The finance department was even worse than the salesman; they acted like a bunch of immature kids with attitudes and the GM made excuses for all of them while being very slick in the way he did it. The GM, after being told I was approved for "0" down tried to make me pay $1200.00. After he told me he sold cars for several years prior to going to Camping World it all made sense! Car salesman are hated for a reason. These people are unprofessional, rude and dishonest. BUYER BEWARE!!
