Camping World Poor service

I bought a 2017 Forest River Cherokee 304R from Camping World in Tampa 6 weeks ago. I just moved in 1.5 miles and set up the camper for the first time. One slide hesitated coming out then moved, however now the slides wont move, one a/c is not working,the refrigerator handle is hanging and not cooling properly. microwave not working, slide inside trim loose and hanging, shower floor weak, fireplace not working, and electrical outlets not working. I cant move it with slide outs out. I called them, they offered no help told me to call road side, which refused to help. I called several mobile rv companies and they can;t do ,manufacturers work only Camping world.And back around again no help from Camping World. I don"t know what to do

On April 8, I ordered a rv cooktop for my Casita. I'm in the middle of the remodel. Deliver time was a max of 10 days. After 10 days, I called to find out the status of my order around April 15. The person, I talked with was worthless. I called again on April 21. Darlene in customer was outstanding. She said they needed to talk with the warehouse and find out what was happening. This could not be done until Monday 24. Today is Monday, April 24. I call back and get another person. She too, was awesome. I was told the top for my stove would arrive today. The cooktop will not ship from the warehouse until April 28. By the time I get my purchases, it will be almost a month. They advertise 7-10 days. I am unable to cancel because they have processed my order. I will never order from this company. There are better places to order from with better service. RN in Texas

We purchased a 2009 Coachman Chaparral and from the first walk through before committing to the purchase we expressed concern over a large amout of Lady bugs inside we were assured that the would be removed and that they had just gotten the unit in. Few weeks went by and I went back to sit down and purchase the unit and did another walk through wirh the unit closed up still loaded up with Lady bugs . I insisted on cleaning of the inside and out as part of the deal . Third visit was a walk through and inspection of the unit hooked up with our salesman Jamie and still had to be cleaned. We closed the deal which was paid in full no finance involved with the cleaning and delivery in the deal . On Friday of that week we went to see if they had received my check to complete the deal which came while we were there . Our salesmen was off and we sat for a few hours seemingly invisible to management. Finally it was agreed upon to take delivery that afternoon. As they were washing the unit we did not go inside till that evening when it was delivered next door to our campground with what still inside but lady bugs. On Saturday morning i called asking to speak with our salesman they took a message. To this day the 30th since delivery I have not received a call from my salesman. We cleaned it ourselves also removing mouse droppings and traps along with dead lady bugs. Trying to email customer service was not able to be done every time I tried error 404 messages came up . So I reached out via Facebook Messenger and surprisingly they responded saying the store and all parties involved would be in contact. Another week no response reached out once more later that afternoon a man named Joey who said he was the sales manager called we discussed this and he had the stones to say did you pay the clean up fee when i said read the deal it was included he offered a 50 dollar gift card and apologies. Now yesterday we pulled the sofa away from the back wall and discovered that there were mouse droppings acorns and dead lady bugs AND THE WALL IS SOFT FROM WATER DAMAGE also if it was cleaned like it was supposed to be this damage would have been discovered during the clean up process and we would have not bought this unit. I am told because it was sold as is I must pay for the repairs . My fiance has respiratory issues and my father in law has COPD and had breathing issues during a vist while in the trailer . I feel that we agreed on a clean unit without water damage and am that this is not what I was sold . Judging by the amounts of complaints I know I am in for a long battle .

Camping World - So called finance manager a joke!

We were looking to buy a new 5th wheel trailer. After we spent several hours looking we decided on one. The salesman took our credit application and after a little while came back and said everything looks great! He said that because of our credit we would not have to put anything down, which we figured we would use the money for parts. Once we were called into the finance office we were met by a man wearing a green shirt with red pants who said he was a finance manager. That should have been a clue! He said that they would submit our paperwork and call us later. We live two and a half hours away. Later that afternoon he called us and said "you're approved, we just need $3000.00 down. I said that the salesman said we wouldn't have to put money down and he said "he never told you that!" I decided since he called me a liar, I would not buy the trailer. You should have heard him cuss at me about wasting his time and then hung up on me! Never will do business with them again!

we bought trailer at Denver camping world entire staff was rude, finance person got pissed and quit talking to us cause we refused to buy his exstended warranties , sales person very poor at his job ,servicedid not have trailer ready to travel when they releasted it tables were left to crash around trailer to damage the walls and break windows going down the road ,recliners just turned over on the floor witch one of them punched a whole in the counter side,will never go here again for anything and will not recommend this outfit to anyone, very poor ran place.

About 5 years ago I let Camping World sucker me into a terrible deal that I will be stuck with for a very long time, I am probably not going to able to retire at age 62 as I had originally planned. The dealership that I dealt with is no longer in business and the emails that I have tried to send to camping world's head office were either ignored or never got there.

Bought new 2017 sierra fifth wheel for camping world statesville,nc. Have made two payments and have had nothing but problems, lies and unkept promises from Camping World. Their service dept. has the most incompetent employees I have ever dealt with. The management there is no help and I really should say lack of management, because nobody there cares or does anything. You cannot get a straight answer out of them. All we have had are broken promises. Have spent countless hours on phone, emails and traveling there. And still camper is not fixed. Corporate refuses to give phone number for regional manager. We are also working with warranty dept of forest river, the manufacturers of the fifth wheel. Next week we are contacting the bank that financed the unit and let them know the issues we are having. This is the bank that camper world uses regularly. If they think we will get fed and just go away then they are in for a big surprise.

Well we still have a defective camper. Some problems resolved.

But still we some that have not been resolved. Also we now are having problems with the manufacture Forest River. Cannot get them to return emails or voice mails. They were great at first but now they are not.

Will continue this fight until it is resolved . Also Camping World has blocked me on Facebook.

Camping world the store in Akron was wonderful! Our salesman Charlie was awesome the whole shopping experience was great! Would definitely go back..The delivery was a whole different experience. The guy Bo was terrible very disrespectful, drove our camper in another campsite and got stuck. My husband kindly told him I thought you were going to stay on the road and angle it in, he said with an attitude it wouldn't of mattered I would have had to come in the yard anyways. NOT TRUE! He did try to grab some wood to lay it down near the tires but no luck. He told my husband that we signed papers stating that if they get stuck its our responsibility to get it out. No one ever explained that to us. I told my husband to goto the front office to see if the owner of our campgrounds can help. As he was gone, I over heard the delivery driver on the phone saying I did what the guy told me to do which was to drive in the yard. Again NOT TRUE! My husband never told him that. I kept my cool up to that point. My husband came back and the delivery driver was un hooking our camper and was going to just leave it where it was. My husband stated that the owner of the campground was coming with the tractor. They got him out with our camper, he came back around stayed on the road and angled it in within a matter of minutes, which is what he should've done in the first place..If the driver would have just had a better attitude I think everything would've been a little easier to handle, but he was simply aweful. So we now have a tore up camp lot that needs fixed. A earful from the owner of the campground. But we do love our camper very much. If there is a paper that was signed that states we are responsible for anything the delivery driver does, that needs to made clear at signing after all we did pay 100.00 to have it delivered. I went to the wrong Camping World

Bought a new trailer in May, from them last year........I should have looked elsewhere. Salesman was surly and on "lookover" did not give much information and was short when I asked questions. Called today because battery was dead and wanted to know what to do. Also, wanted to find out how to roll down the awning. The person who showed us how to do so originally, did it quickly, gave us no directions how to get the darned thing down, and all that he said was that it was complicated. Minimal directions were given as to how to start up/regulate ect. the various systems. (Water, electric, plumbing, waste ect. but I thought that the manual supplied would show that. It doesn't. Called today three times and each time no answer at the service desk and was told only one service man on duty and he was busy. The secretary said that he would call me back. Still waiting. The manual says go to dometicusa.com for info on how to lower the awning. I don't even know if that is the awning that is up there and when went to the website, stated that I need model number which was never given to me, and can't be found on the generic Dutchman manual given to me, so can't even do that. And thus the repeated calls to Spartanburg. Very disgusted with the sales and service departments, and I am still waiting for my call. We are leaving on a trip tomorrow so am peeved at all of this. The staff inside in the store was very nice. The salespeople and service people should model themselves after them.

Camping World a Good SCAM not good SAM

4/17/17 Purchased a Jayco camper from Camping World in Woodstock, GA. We live in NC. This location some how mixed are address up and had all are mail sent to a FL address including payment book. We worked with a finance rep. by the name of Julie. All of the paperwork I checked was wrong. We spent 8 hrs at this dealership to purchase a $10,000 camper. WTF?? We have purchased $75,000 boats in 2 hrs. or less in the past. Purchased camper about a month ago. Called the bank to try and locate our payment information. Found out our payment was due today. Thanks again Woodstock Camping World. You would think these foks off I-575 with such a large inventory could get it right. My wife has left several messages for some manager named Mark. HE NEVER RETURNS CALLS- Maybe Marcus needs to check this location out because they suck. The only guys that had his act together was Rob who now is in service. My plans are to list this dealership on as many web sites as possible. Buyer beware. Walt & Laura, NC--

People what him on the UN REAL reality show show and get the very UN REAL impression that he is good. Not so, he is a total sham.
