Camping world in Valencia is A W F U L!!!! Customer service is non existant on phone as well as in store.. how n why they are still open i have no clue.... Agents working are unfriendly n unhelpful... this place will close if this kind of service keeps up...!!!! The FACT that Good Sam recommends this is goid reason they best their heads out of their ARSSSS!!!!

Camping World - Poor service on warranty items

Purchased new rv in spring of 2016. Kitchen sink needed replaced was broken and leaked. Radio worked for one outing needed to be replaced. Water heater didn't work, needed fixing. Refrigerator quit working on propane during first outing, had repaired. Then wouldn't work on electricity 2nd outing. Advised was operator error, but still didn't work on electricity. Took in a third time supposedly fixed. Made an appointment 2nd week of February 2017 to have refrigerator looked at again, and have shower sealed. After leaving rv for 1 week was advised cooling unit needs replaced. Waited 6 weeks for parts to arrive. Rv was repaired after waiting on lot again for a week. tried unit after returning home only to find again it was not working on electricity. Scheduled another appt. after rv sat on lot for 7 days was advised assigned to technician. After 10 days still not looked at. Took rv to use, was advised would be 2 weeks before I could bring back. So after a year and some incredibly long wait times last year and this year, I still have an rv with a refrigerator that does not work. I am scheduled to take rv in next week, which will result in a wait of about 2 weeks before it is looked at and 6 more weeks if parts need to be ordered. So possibly mid July if I am lucky. I have called Norcold, they referred me back to Camping World, called StarCraft and they referred me back to Camping World.

Camping world has the most inept personnel, the biggest liers, and cheaters! The most bull *** I've ever heard!

You would think that Marcus Lemonis would be honest, but it's obvious he's a cheat!

No wonder he's loaded! He has idiots working for him!

Terrible customer service!. The one in Wilsonville Oregon just sucks. I don't know how they stay in business.

Service departments are terrible. We called,left a message two days in a row. We ended up having to drive over. We were interested in an awning in your add. Well first they do that carry them have to order it, and oh I might take a week to ten days then oh maybe two weeks or better to I stall. Depends on. Work load...Are you serious. Just about a month...If you are lucky. This is in Fayetteville north Carolina. I wish we had other options. When you finish your take over of gander mountain ...Add an installations department so we do the have to go through service e and always be at the bottom of a already huge list

First thing happened was with Indy store I ordered a new electric awning told when would be for in installation that date was then told could not order some reason called another small dealer who then ordered the very same awning at a cheaper price installed it.Now called Fairfield stote to check on valve kit for dually could never talk to someone in parts left my name and phone # and at the time of this review no one has called me back .To me camping world is not what they were a few years back to get what I wanted ,I took a chance and drove to Fairfield,oh to to get my part that I needed which they maybe they should change call in for parts or make it easier to get or check there blinking lines or there messages. Thanks for listening maybe better times ahead Larry in Indiana

The problem with both stores there's nobody that will own up to their mistakes. We're all humans and that is what we do unfortunately . The employees are hard enough to find in M.B. you should as a company treat them right. Need somebody to take charge and lead and not just push huge P&L reports. I'm a local person and have caught them in lies and they swear it still correct. I drove from Santee State Park early 5/10/17 with both tanks almost full bc I had new rv and could not find claw that fits dump spout/ drain. Since I live close to Hwy. 501 store I will stop & buy part and dump tanks as usual, meaning I've dumped my tanks there before even early as last Dec. Web page still has it being a dump facility for Good Sam Members even since new ownership 2-3 years ago. Even ex employee Dave Elder told me where it was.. It's still located out by road but almost hidden by new propane station put in last year. You can see the new tire tracks where it's still being used when the employees don't park in front of it. But manager & cashier repeatly deny that it's there and never has been .. So for years they have advertised being a dump facility and its come to the truth that .... But all I get after buying spending $100k for new rig and $300 in store purchases... 2 weeks before is an apology.

We purchased a new keystone trailer from camping world in March of 2017. We used the trailer one time and had to bring it back because of water running down the wall in the bunk room. They tried to tell me that is was condensation. No way in *** is it condensation, the water is 5 inches wide and runs from the ceiling to the floor. It did soak the mattress, about a 8 inch spot on both bunks in one night. Look at the pics and tell me what you think. The roof has 8 to 10 hole in a seam about two feet away from the wet walls. The repaired the holes before they did a water test. I asked them why in *** would you fill in the holes before the water test. Deanna the service manager said the the did not want to do anymore damage to the trailer by adding more water to it. remember they said it is condensation ya sure it is. The filled in the holes so they will not have to replace the trailer or fix the wall with the water damage.The trailer has been their for over a month.They have also did other work on the trailer and almost all of it had to be redone. They wanted us to pick up the trailer even we did not want to, when we went to get it we discovered another water leak by the valves for the gray and black tanks. The service tech started to rip the under belly apart to find the problem, the whole rear corner and wall of the trailer is completely soaked with water. I went to speak with Deanna about this and she told me that rain water from the road can pool in the belly when you drive it down the road. We had only used this thing one time and it has been at their lot for a month, so i am going to believe that is it rain water from the road, YA right. We have hired a lawyer to help and get our money back. If you are reading this do your self a favor and DO NOT GO TO CAMPING WORLD, they will *** over. If you don't believe me just go to the better business bureau they have over 600 complaints filed against them.

Camping World - Store purchase

Purchased portable generator from camping world. Paid $1,000.00 for this generator. Granted this generator has a two year warranty with the manufacturer. It is a duel fuel generator manufactured by Champion. We have had it about 7 months and it has been in the shop to be fixed for two months before getting it back. As happy campers we finally got to go camping again and the generator would crank up but would shut down every time we cut our air-conditioner on. Weekend ruined. It is back in the authorized Champion service center once again to be fixed. It is very difficult to even find an authorized service center that wants to work on them. All champion did was give us service centers near us. Most said all they work on are lawnmowers. It has now been in the new service center for two weeks with no word from the owner. Champion customer service is really no help at all except to give you phone numbers. Very unhappy with champion generators.

Bought Wally / King receiver advertized a Dish pay as you go acct....set that up ..was nightmare from day one...multiple times got huge bill from dish...last issue received bill for 6 months of service...no I have Wally/King receiver that has been used 3 times...no Dish because they did not honor the Pay as you go account as advertized in the catalog and at your store...when contacted Camping World in Denton...their responce was ...we know that happens a lot!!...but Dish pays us to advertize this promotion in the Camping World catalog and in our store....False Advertizing!!

Camping World in Dover, Florida - Frustrated buyer

On April 3, 2017 my wife and I bought a 2017 Mallard M28 trailer, at Camping world located in Dover, Fl. When signing the paper work we were asked if we wanted to buy any service contracts. We did buy one for 2526.00 plus tax and one for 1030.00 plus tax. We left the dealership at 2:30, and on the way home we decided that it was too much over our original budget we set. When we got home 3 hrs later I called the business manager Anthony Gagliardi. I told him that we changed our minds and did not want the service contracts. He said he would send out the cancellation forms and we should sign them. After three days I had to call him again and remind him. He did send them, but they were blank with nothing on them. I called him and said that wouldn't sign the forms blank. He said that's the way its done. I hung up and called Paula the Finance Manager and told her the story. She filled the forms out and sent them to us.We signed the forms and sent them back.She also said that the process would take 4 to 5 weeks before the bank would get the check. On 5/9/2017 I called Paula to give us an update. She said she would have to check with someone and she would call me later in the day. She did call back and said they needed the bank account number so they could send the money in about a week, but only for the one contract totally 2526.00 plus tax. I told her that we were paying interest on that money. She said thats the way it is. She then said if I gave her the account they would pay the first contract on 5/9/2017.She said we should check with the bank in 10 days The other contract 1030.00 plus tax could take up to 10 weeks My wife and I think that they are playing with our money. Remember the contracts were never put into use. They were canceled the same day they were bought. The total amount is over 3800.00. That is a lot of money to be floating out of our pockets. I bought a new camper trailer in Camping world and was in service for 6 months of the first year of use , under warranty, and never fixed it. They give you an appointment to repair for a month after you call, and they start working a month later. and very bad work. When leaving messages for the camping world manager they are never returned, the service manager does't do his job. I only had it when was in storage. $40,000.00 new camper trailer If you want to be unhappy buy here.
