for 500 and 1 for 100. They threw in the 100 for my troubles..

I received a call last night from Camping World. They apologized for my troubles and are sending me the 500 gift card with an additional 100 gift card for all me trouble.

Now lets see when and if I receive it. I will keep you updated.

I should have it by Tuesday. I will keep you updated.

I'm getting more aggravated with Camping World. Especially with the rapid response supervisor that goes by the name Mark Fejfar.

He never returns my calls and when I call the main number all I get is BS that he's not at his desk and they will give him the message to call me. Which he never does. Is this how Camping World treats their customers? This has left me no choice but to take to social media.

I also posted on a site called pissed off consumer And have shared it on Facebook, Twitter and Goggle.

Also I will be looking at moving my financing away from Good Sam unless I am contacted ASAP. I spend over 80 thousand dollars on a new RV not counting what you will make in finance charges, and you want to screw me out of a 500 dollar in store coupon that most likely only would cost you 100.

I received an ad from Camping World stating buy a new RV this month and receive a 500 gift certificate to use in store. The ad states must be shown before purchase. I had been dealing on this RV for a week but had not purchased it yet. When it was time to put my money down and sign the papers I showed them the ad. They said I would not get it because we had been working on this deal for a week. I told them I have not bought it yet. They said I did. LOL. I have signed nothing and I still have this check for 20 thousand in my hand. After arguing for a bit I told them I will take it up with the corporate office. I called and was turned over to The Rapid Response Team. I was told they would be in contact with me within 48 hour. Ive called back a dozen times now and the guy is never at his desk. I ask for his supervisor and I'm told sorry cant do that but we will give him a message. I'm fed up and turning this over to the better business bureau and to my State's attorney.

I was thinking of buying an RV also after I saw yours, Steve, and dropping close to $100k, but not after the issues and problems you have been having! I'll give my money to a company that cares about their customers beyond cashing the check! I WILL also be spreading the word about this company!

All I was trying to do was get a direct tv satellite installed. First they sent me an incorrect invoice, then, you never could reach anyone to get it corrected and I wanted to order the work. Took almost a week to even get correct invoice and scheduled. They said would take 3 days. Parts manager, Jeff, said I just needed to call Directv to add the 2 new receivers to my account. Of course, Dtv said they need the ID's and access codes for the receivers. He said I have done many of these and they don't need that and it would be fine, as he had installed many of these. I called back day before pick up to ensure we were on track to pick up and that I needed the access codes. No one ever called me back. (All you get here is voice mails and no one ever returns/checks calls or emails - and, no one person will own the issues and handle your account. I called back and after 6 tries got a person. They had to leave a message for the service tech. He finally called me back at 10 am on day of pick up with the codes. When I called Directv to add, they told me they couldn't activate these as they were used, refurbished models and in fact were still listed as "in collection" on another person's cable account. I paid top $ (even more than I would have at Directv and expected new receivers, was never disclosed!!!!). So, CW said they would get 2 new ones in there and call me back with those codes - never called back, so I called another 7 times. Then, when the service tech did finally call me they had only 1 new receiver and it was the wrong model!!! This is now 3 hours before our pickup. Said parts person would call me right back(because NO ONE owns the problem - they just pass you on to another dept, and you get voice mail for all). Parts guy called me back, my husband is on way to pick up and we are leaving on a trip, and the new access codes they gave me are also for leased receivers from someone else's account, so Directv will not activate them!!!! I started all of this process 3 weeks ago, and still not done. I have no assurance now that even the satellite isn't used or works as Directv will not activate the receivers as they are someone elses, so they can't even test the satellite to see if works. I would avoid this company completely and go up to Lazy Days RV - my experience with them has been wonderful. This is a dishonest company that tries and sells used parts. We are going to pickup RV and will handle myself as Directv is overnighting me new, correct receivers, and I will have to figure out how to install them myself. I had my husband just go get our RV, and who knows if this dish will even work. By the way, they are very expensive on labor. for a satellite and 2 receivers (which I still don't have) was $3400 (be sure and check your invoice as they didn't put on sale prices, etc -and, it was wrong twice. BUYER BEWARE - HORRIBLE COMPANY AND WORST SERVICE EVER! Go to Lazy Days

Thor & Camping World poor service & workmanship

Update: I complained that Thor & Camping World did not honor their warranty & service was poorly executed. We just picked up our RV. No work has been done after having the RV for 2 months. They were quick to hand us a bill for their efforts. The general manager wouldn't even talk w/us. Guess what? We now have a huge hole & an accompanying leak in our roof. Please!!! Don't go there for service work or to buy an RV. We're out $60K & don't know how long it will take to recoup from this loss before we can begin our retirement travels that we've planned for years.

We purchased a Thor Freedom Elite & brought it in for warranty work. Camping World in Fountain has had the RV for 2 months. Picked it up today. Warranty was NOT honored. Nothing was fixed.

As I have posted here before we bought new 2017 camper from camping world. Our local news in North Carolina have contacted me and may be during segment on camping World and all the complaints against them. Would anyone else like to join me on tv if indeed the news station does the segment? If so contact me at cguy1957@gmail.com. Let's join together and let Camping World know we will no longer stand for excuses, poor products, rude and non existent customer service. After 3 months of lies and poor service I have had enough. So please let's band together and put a stop to this

I am most definitely interested. Been in a continuous, non-resolved issues with this Camping Facility in Marion, NC for almost a year.

If you are still interest in pursuing the news channel, I had considered this myself.

Plan to contact Channel 9 (WSOC) and see if they are interested in interviewing the manager of this place and let him answer the questions that I have along with many others. If so, please respond and I will text you my Name and Address.

Camping World - Terrible order processing!

I was billed for my order on the ninth. Several days went by and hadn't received a shipping date or tracking #. On the 17th called "Order Processing" and they evidently needed to confirm billing info. Did that and was told I would receive my order in 3 to 4 days. Discovered a couple days later I was billed again on the 17th for the item. Then on the 19th I was credited for the second billing. I thought great they realized I was billed twice and credited back the second one. It is now the 25th, still billed on the 9th, no order received. Called again, they tell me the order was cancelled and credited. No communication unless I call and when I do, nobody can help. Not "Order processing"" and not "Customer Service". Still billed on the 9th without any credit and still no product. Nice!

Half the fun of owning a camper is working on your camper. My 2011 Keystone Alpine 3500 RE is my third camper. Although I do enjoy wrenching on my own equipment, there are times we need to take our rig into a shop. My kitchen slide out started extending and retracting crooked on a trip from Ohio back to Georgia. One side was leading the other, both extending and retracting. Rear leveling jacks stopped working as well. I called Camping World in Jacksonville and they got me scheduled in within a couple of days. Being the beginning of the spring camping season, I was pleasantly surprised. I dropped my camper off at Camping World - Jacksonville and gave Brian a tour of the problems. Probably only took twenty minutes. A representative called me within a couple of days with the diagnosis. Welds had failed on the slide-out mechanism. They needed my authorization to make the repairs, which entailed essentially rebuilding, and re-welding brackets on the slide-out mechanism. I got a call within a few days that my camper was ready to be picked up, and that Camping World - Jacksonville had handled all of the claims with my seven-year extended warranty. Upon arriving to pick up my camper, these folks had it plugged in and allowed me to do a complete inspection of the work performed. The technician that did the work and a service manager were present to show me the work that had been done. I was thoroughly impressed with the level of customer service. While doing my inspection, we discovered another small issue. Camping World - Jacksonville suggested that I simply leave the camper, as they needed to order some parts. Two days later, it was fixed and ready for pick-up. The additional work was covered under my extended warranty, which the folks at Camping World - Jacksonville completely handled. Once again, Camping World - Jacksonville had my camper pulled in front of a bay and plugged into power for inspection. All was good. This is the first time I had used Camping World - Jacksonville for service on my camper. I’m a little price sensitive, but even without the warranty, the pricing for Camping World’s service was very reasonable. The customer service and attention, follow-up and follow-through were excellent. Keeping their customer informed was excellent. The workmanship of the repairs is excellent. The speed of getting my camper in and our, all repaired was excellent. I will definitely use Camping World - Jacksonville in the future, and I highly recommend them to anyone.

Camping World in Fife, Washington - Service Followup to Dewinterization

Visited Camping World, Fife, WA today for resolution of follow up issue re recent De Winterization. I can't say enough about the quality of the service that was given to me by DOUG, GIL, AUSTIN and LISA. DOUG got me right in and the rest of his team did nothing less that a superb job. They resolved the issue swiftly and professionally. They were also a real pleasure to work with. They personify the EXCELLENT SERVICE that I have come to expect from Camping World. Camping World is all about service and these folks are Camping World. They should be heartily acknowledged for same. BRAVO!!!! And THANKS AGAIN!!!!!

Camping World - Not a happy camper

Bought a camper from camper world in 2016. Had problems with the windows shutting unless I slammed them guy told me to leave it alone for awile they don't like to fix windows until things have settled. Just came out the camper my floor is soaking wet from window leaking. Called them wanted to charge me $165.00 just to come out to look at it.. Are they crazy? Didn't like this place from day 1. Guy who sold us camper was pushy, nasty, and arrogant ( they said he was the #1 sales person.. Makes me mad they didn't want to fix the problem last year now I have to deal with Windows leaking. Girl on the phone was a little smart mouth and said like so u don't want us to come out when I told her it's ridiculed to change$165.00 just to come out..I would Never buy from camping world of Akron again and if anyone ask I would tell them the same thing!!

After someone stole 2 lug nut covers off a wheel of our Georgetown motorhome, we were told by a parts dept. employee at the Camping World in Greenwood, IN that the OEM parts dept. would need the VIN # of the motorhome in order to check what we needed. Since we don't carry that info around with us we were told we could call the OEM parts dept. once we got that info. Called the next day, got voice mail message that the person wasn't available, left message to call us back, NO RETURN CALL. Tried calling twice more SAME THING, NO RETURN CALL. Then called Walnut Ridge in New Castle. They actually answer calls there (what a concept) , asked us to send pic of what we needed and were very helpful. Bottom line, if you want service, DON'T GO TO CAMPING WORLD FOR ANYTHING.
