Camping World in Longmont, Colorado - 2017 Jayco eagle ht

1.3
Details
Purchased new 2017 Eagle HT 26.5 by Jayco on August 31st in Golden Co. Two weeks later on Sept 16th we took it to LongmontCo Campingworld for obviously warranty work. The Service writer Cameron Peck was nice, it is unimaginable that a two week old trailer require Jayco approval to do the work. The issue was water leaking from fresh water tank. End of October we had scheduled camping we had to take,or trailer and the repair they claimed was completed was not effective. We drove 3.5 miles from Buena Vista Co to campsite with full water tank. 2/3 empty in 3 miles Unacceptable. After needing the trailer in Oct and November we took the trailer back March 29th 2017 to Longmont location again. Again weren't approval required *** step. Why can't Camping Wrld simply enter Vin number to determine warranty work is approved from Jayco. May 30th we finally got the trailer back. Finally repaired but Service writer Cameron Peck said "this is a known Problem" with This model. They rerouted water lines to repair. This system s way to slow, and unless we don't gaged Service and Service writer c Nstantly for follow up and tomtest dresses ve trailer we had no confidence the work was done. We in this, process missed 3 camping trip opportunities. Will NEVER take our trailer to Camping World again. Simple suggesting online system for warranty work 2. Hire more service people and work on Saturday and Sunday. Service is separate from sales I understand the laws in Co abut sales closed on Sunday but ludicrous that service isn't open. You are great at Sales and SUCK at Service!

Camping World - Had a hide-a-brake installed in Feb. 2017 at Port Richey store

4.3
Details
Store had my 2013 Honda CRV for a day and a half, I then broke up camp and took the coach (2013 Bounder) down for a half a day. I didn't start home to Pa. until April. The first day when I got to a campground the battery on the car was dead. For the next three days, every time we stopped, I started the car to keep the battery up. When we arrived home, didn't get to solving the problem until May. Called Camping World at Harrisburg, told them the problem, they said to contact the Store in Port Richey to let them know, then to call back and co-orindinate the repair. We live in East Freedom, Pa. and the two nearest Camping Worlds are the Harrisburg and Winchester, Va. locations. Called Harrisburg store again, left a message to call me. They didn't return my call. Called the next day, they didn't return my call. Called the next day, they didn't return my call. Called the next day and asked to speak to a Manager, talked to Steve and told him my fustration, he set me up with a date to have my unit looked at. On June 1 drove to Harrisburg with my coach and car in tow. After inspecting my coach, was told that the Fl. Store had not used a charging line from the coach to the car and this was the problem. Was told it would take about three hours to complete the work. The co-operation and service I received at the Harrisburg Store needs recognized, especially Steve Hitz and Romeo Requena and the workers who did the work. The battery on the car was OK when I arrived home after the repair. Thank you all. I hope this will help you with some corrective action at your Florida store. Update by user Jul 11, 2017

Golden/Denver Camping World finally got the camera about June 27 - weeks ago. They made an appointment for us to bring our motorhome in, and after a week of not hearing from them, we went in on July 3 and were informed that it hadn't been looked at yet! We were told...

Camping World doesn't just take advantage of the elderly! They take advantage of anyone that is on the property.

If only I had known about this organization before I bought from them!

Now I tell anyone and everyone that asked about my RV. DO NOT BUY FROM CAMPING WORLD!!!

Camping World - Never again

1.5
Details
In June of 2014 we purchased a 2007 Tioga 31SL class C from Wood Village Oregon Camping World. This was our first experience with an RV dealership and didn't do our due diligence with researching camping worlds deplorable reviews . I wish we had , because we are just another customer that's been lied to and abused by camping world. Our finance manager told us it was a five year extended warranty , come to find out later it was only 48 months ! Then camping world took 3 months to process the paperwork for the registration ! Which meant we couldn't drive our RV for the planned 2 week vacation!! The extended warranty turned out to be as worthless as the paper it was written on. We used the warranty only once after 2 1/2 years , due to a broken step motor and poor running generator. I called to make the appointment for repairs on September 28th 2016 and were told they were booked up until November 29th !!! 2 months ? Really ! A week after the repairs we test the generator and it's still not fixed ! In April of 2017 we traded in the RV for a class A at Johnson RV ( which I highly recommend) and cancelled the extended warranty with camping world . I did the math and expected a refund of 1694.00 but was told no . My refund will be 1093.00 because they are deducting the 601.00 dollars they spent on the repairs !! It's June 1st 2017 and I still have not received my 1093.00. I called them today but just get voice mails. We will NEVER step foot in any camping world again . I've told everyone that will listen to avoid camping world like the plague . The CEO Marcus Lamonis should be ashamed of himself. It makes me happy to know that the new 40 foot 5th wheel that my sister and brother in law are buying plus ALL the RV supplies they need will NOT be purchased at camping world. They've seen what we've gone through and vow never to be camping worlds next victim.

Camping World in Longmont, Colorado - Undisclosed water leak which is unresolved a year later

1.0
Details
We've experienced a water leak since purchasing our travel trailer which was not disclosed at inspection. We have been dealing with the Camping World service dept in Longmont, CO on and off for almost a year to get this issue resolved. Most recent bill was $300 only to find out they didn't turn on water pressure to check the repair and the leak had gotten much worse. Now they are saying it will be an additional $600 repair. We've lost money and memories for numerous camping trips already scheduled and can't seem to get anywhere except deeper in debt! NEVER buy from this company!!

Camping World - Dishonest and incompetant

I discovered last year that they probably have a policy of charging for at least a blown bulb when going in for just a $6 NYS Inspection, if they can't get you for new brakes or tires. I didn't think much of it until I noticed they had done it before. I normally check my bulbs before I go in. They should take up their issue with the profitability with NYS and not take it out on the consumer. The service guy there, Brian, is usually in a bad mood, dismissive, and annoyed most of the time. Stay away from him. Shannon is pleasant and listens and tries hard. Once I discovered that the company will be dishonest to meet profit goals, I decided I won't be sucker punched by them again. They should just accept the loss knowing that if they treat you well, that they will be back for ball bearing repacks and other work.

Camping World - Failed to do service they said they had done

Camping world in Avendale, Az. Is the worst Caming world experience every. Unless they resolve this problem for service charge ut not done. One area my generator was supposed to to have a complete tune up oil change, spark plugs & wire, new air filter, new engine oil filter & oil. The unit stipped working half way up to Idaho. What we discovered was so shocking, I believe let Joe know on channel 15 ABC NEWS, would like to expose how you are fraudulently padding the invoices. I am a LIFETIME MEMER OF THE GOID SAM CLUB. I HAVE OWNED A RV SINCE 1970 WHEN THERE WERE INLY A HANDFUL IF STORE. I WAS A MEMBER OF THE presidents club until you dropped that discount. I am prepared to let everyone out there including the Az. State Attorney's office of what is going on in Avendale. Pictures. Don't lie, & to fix the problem you should of done cost me an additional $855.00. Hipe to hear from you soon. Best regards Al from the valley of the sun where the coyotes roam free.

Camping World - Horrable Customer Service

I contacted your Hamburg, NY location on 5-25-17 regarding a trailer that you had for sale online. I was emailed back right away from a salesman and I stated I wanted to trade my unit in. He sent me over a form to fill out about my trailer and I sent it back to him right away. He contacted me again and said he received it and then I sent him some pictures of my trailer. Then Friday morning 5-26-17 he contacted me and said they would put the numbers together and get back to me. I waited all day and never received any information, I sent the sales rep an email asking about it and received no response. On Saturday I sent another email to him and again no response. I then contacted the store through Live Chat, and asked how much cash no trade for the trailer. The person said that the General Manager would contact me, and when I asked when I was told before the end of the day. I waited again with no response and I then received an email from a Mike later that evening. I responded and told him PJ the sales rep never got back to me and the GM not got with me either. He responded and said sorry PJ was off until Tuesday and he would look into it. I sent a few other emails back to that Mike and never heard anything. I went on Sunday and I purchased a trailer from Colton RV, I wanted one and Camping World did not want my money. I was just contacted at 1:00pm on Tuesday from PJ asking if I was still interested, LOL never would I purchase a trailer from you folks and I will make sure everyone knows to stay away.
