Went to get new toilet and OK was told $185. Got to register was $240. Need to buy membership for that price. So I bought the *** thing and saved $20. What a joke. I don't live in an home association I live in an RV. Thanks for the year membership I will never use.

Camping World - Faulty tire installation

1.0
Details
Roanoke Camping World installed 4 New tires using the faulty valve stems from my old tires (I was told by Service Manager this is usual practice, I guess even if they are faulty), causing a flat in one tire and a leak in another . They sent me back out onto the road with defective tires and when confronted about the problem simply sent a company to repair them correctly after I luckily discovered the flat tires and leaking tires 300 miles later. How dangerous, and they indicated they always use old valve stems. No apology, no refund for poor service. Wish I had read the reviews here before trusting them!

Why would anybody purchase tires at an RV dealership.

But your tires at a REAL tire store.

Trusted camping world, and got shafted

bought a 06 national rv for 55,000 on Thursday, june 8 ,drove 6 hours to pick it up in Idaho falls salesman, said his team was working on thr coach and putting 8000 dollars into getting it into perfect shape,so when I got there it would be in perftect shape ,a 120 point inspection, sounded pretty good, especially coming from camping world, aplace you could shop and feel like you were shopping at saks, I use to think, but now I'm disappointed, my fiancé have been cleaning foe 12 hours and it still has dirt and a smell, I looked under the engine to see the oil filter the same dirty rusty shape as rest of engine, sure sign no recent oil change, things I would have looked for if id bought from a private party ,not a trusted dealer, so pulled dipstick black as crude, wouldn't of drove the two hundred miles home , like that, does that affect my 2,999 warranty,,,first when we got to cw ,at 2 in the afternoon and several hours in waiting room, tons of paperwork, didn't leave much time for my own, inspection, finally, got the tour of motorcoah, first thing was big hole where tv use to be, now laying, on the bed, was told they were afraid it might fall out while driving, 16 inch tv, 28 inch hole, huh,the matress was stained and filthy, actually left it with old trade in,and transferred old into new coach, ,continued with walk thru, couldn't get generator to start, after seferal buttons switches started, now that I'm home it wont start, all electrical has shut down, I would take it back with buyers remorse if I could close slideouts, climbed up on roof today, front ac unit has no shroud,i just don't see where the 8000 bucks went, is being a salesman like that, something I would do, not if I wanted to sleep at night,

OMG , $55,000 for an 06 national. They are probably still doing high 5's over that deal.

$55k????

NOT even if it was a diesel.

"a 120 point inspection, sounded pretty good, especially coming from camping world, aplace you could shop and feel like you were shopping at saks"

I just laughed so hard I shot milk out my nose.

Camping World in Strafford, Missouri - David made the save!

3.9
Details
We stopped by camping world in Stafford, MO to shop-around for an RV. Being new to RV's we were not sure of what we wanted. A bald headed salesman (sic) took us out, showed us where the class C's were at and disappeared, boy did we have questions! After an hour or so David, another or should I say a REAL salesman came up and answered questions, showed us different RV's and was a great help. We didn't buy as we had a lot of thinking to do, but when we do buy, David is getting the sale from us. He did get a sale from our friends that were there with us!

Also was sent from one person to another. Made our head spin.

STAY AWAY FROM CAMPING WORLD.

David May be just great, but wait until the service dept ruins your faith in people.

Camping World in Columbia, South Carolina - Leak never fixed

1.0
Details
I do not recommend Camping World. We purchased our camper from Camping World in Columbia about a year ago. We have had nothing but issues with our camper. When we 1st got our camper it had a leak. The assumed the leak was caused by the slide not going in and out. So they fixed the slide but did not check the roof which now has water damaged. Never once fixing the inside that was damaged caused by the water. Now we have another leak caused by a strip of tin on the roof that was not properly sealed etc.. So the roof and inside of my camper is damaged. Instead of them owning up, They made me file a claim with my insurance company. I have made reservations in MB over 8 months ago. And now I don't know how I'm going to be able to go with no camper. My parents and kids are very upset. We do this every year rearranging our schedules so we can have a family vacation together. I'm very upset with Camping World

Camping World in Hillsboro, Oregon - No one should be treated this way!

2.7
Details
I cant even begin to explain how disgusted I am with my entire RV purchase experience. I am tempted to drop it off and tell Hillsboro, OR Camping World where they can shove it. The Parts and Service department is a wreck, they never answer the phone, they leave voicemails that explain nothing and then its like pulling teeth to get in touch with someone! When our camper was "inspected" the awning was found to be damaged. They told us 7-10 days it would be in and replaced. A month and MANY phone calls later we find out it had come in wrong part, and been reordered. A week after the expected arrival date of THAT one we started the tedious process of reaching a human again to get updates. Two days later when we finally did, the person had a difficult time getting information- like it was something only one person knew and couldn't just be looked up on a pc order form or something. We finally were told it was on back order and it could be "a long time". So, two MONTHS after purchasing the trailer, we brought it home without an awning,...and with a broken outdoor speaker cover, a missing miniblind wand, a missing propane cover, and a torn mattress (a foot long tear in the foot of the mattress)!!!!! Imagine how thrilled we were to find these things!!! So we emailed the ONLY decent person we had been dealing with, Vicki in Sales. She forwarded the list to Parts and Service. On June 6th we received another call about the awning, with no information other than to call back. Which we did. Many, many times. I left voicemails and email address. When I called again today I found out Jose is in Mexico on vacation now and he was the one who knew what was what with our trailer apparently.. It wasn't easy, but we finally found out why he called, The new awning came in! Damaged. So another was ordered, It's unknown if it was ordered express shipping or what the expected delivery date is, and Matt was "in the middle of dealing with another customer", so, you know, he couldn't sit there listening to us complain about something he "couldn't do anything about". When asked if he could at least order the other parts? "We'll see what I can do..." was the response. Not one person has offered us anything other than these words, "well it happens a lot". This is disgusting. No one could get away with running a smaller business like this, but since you are a giant cooperation apparently its okay. The awning wasn't even ordered until a month after it was supposed to be. Then the company who ships the parts keeps making mistakes and everyone just shrugs their shoulders and doesn't know what to do? Complete and utter garbage. I want to be compensated for the 2 and half months now that I hadn't been able to use my camper, for all the wasted time trying to get in touch with a human, then trying to find a human who knew what was going on, then for them treating US like WE were the ones doing something wrong, for all my wife's frustrated tears, the disappointment of my children when we had to cancel two camping trips because of all of this... and not one person has stepped up to offer a god *** thing to attempt to make this right. When it is time to upgrade my trailer I will finally listen to all the other reviews and I will NOT go through the company, as the closest dealer here has left me feeling swindled.

Camping World - Dont shop there

We purchase a 2017 Holiday Rambler vacationer ! What a nightmare from service to the sale of the biggest most expensive lemon in the lot. We have own it 09/24/2016 and have only used it twice. If it wasn't in the shop it was snowing. Holiday Rambler is no help. What a piece of cramp Marcus should remove his name from this Company. As we speak its sitting in Kentucky and were in Ohio waiting to get it fixed. We have taken this RV back more times then we have driven it. Stay away do your homework before such and expensive purchase. Yikes This is ridiculous

Well we hired a lawyer and purchase a winnebago from camping world in NC and were told they are sold as is and there's no warranty only from manufacture. So ours has been 9 times for warranty work out of service more then in, had the same issue fixed multiple times. Recommendation NEVER BUY FROM CAMPIMG WORLD.

You will NOT get your money back, that's for sure.

They will be charging you for the repairs.

They will NOT repair it correctly.

You can fuss and raise heck with them all you want and it will NOT help the situation.

I feel sorry for you and anybody who deals with these thieves.

They have no conscience , they ARE an evil corporation.
