Camping World in Saint Augustine, Florida - Misinformed!

3.1
Details
Bought our Montana High Country in St. Augustine camping world. They sell us a gooseneck adapter that voids the frame warranty without telling us. When we find out they straight up lie to us about talking to Keystone about the issue. I called Keystone myself and found out it does in fact void the warranty. After days of arguing, they decide to credit our funds towards the correct fifth wheel for my truck. They tell us to go ahead to Asheville where they are ready for us and it will be taken care of. Asheville had no idea we were coming, or what for. Both the wife and I had to waste a vacation day from our jobs to get the issue resolved. Frustrated we have reached out to camping world to see what they will do to make this right, and low and behold they will not return any of our phone calls. They are absolutely worthless. I will never buy anything from them again, not even a roll of rv toilet paper. Total pieces of *** in my book. Good luck to anyone looking at doing business with these low life's. Highly not recommended.

Camping World in Newhall, California - Customer Service

2.6
Details
The worst customer service I have ever seen. I have called the Santa Clarita camping world 4 times today. Transferred to the parts department all 4 times where the phone rang at least 50 times with no answer. The phone never transfers back the operator so you have to hang up and call back. Have since left 2 more messages with no return calls. Last week while in the store a parts person took my name and number and told me he would call back but never did. After waiting 3 days I had to back to the store and then waited 40 min. to get helped by the parts department. They just don't care or have never been trained on how to provide customer service.

Have never had this bad of serv8ce as i did in the Richmond Indiana store. We spent $6000 on several things one of them being air conditioning system spring cleaned. When we used it it was so loud and didn't work right. We called 5 days in a row and never got to talk to service management and he never called us back. Well never take our rv back to camping world again . Richmond service center sucks. They also left our rv a total mess when we picked it up. Woast service ever. Manager ought to be fired

Camping World Richmond, IN - Dishonest, lies- BEWARE

1.0
Details
We flew from California to Camping World of Richmond, Indiana to purchase a used 2006 Country Coach Intrigue. They sent us Work Orders of all the work that they had already done to the coach. After 40+ phone calls, emails and text we felt comfortable to spend the money to travel there to purchase the coach. When we got there none of the items on the Work Orders had be done even though the Work Order said the status of each item was "complete". Including a fuel and coolant leak. Took a 20 mile test drive and used approx. 2 gallons of coolant. We knew that there had been a leak on the slide seal and asked if they could see any mold or mildew in the RV. Salesman Bruce said he had been in it lots of times and had never seen any. One of the first things we noticed were the mushrooms growing under the dinette. Later found them in the bedroom slide. Wasted time and money traveling there because they are dishonest and liars. The Coach is still up for sale, who will be the next victim? What happen Marcus Lemonis to the 3 P's? Looks like this time it was the mighty dollar that over ruled the 3 P's.

Camping World - Faulty tire installation

1.0
Details
Roanoke Camping World installed 4 New tires using the faulty valve stems from my old tires (I was told by Service Manager this is usual practice, I guess even if they are faulty), causing a flat in one tire and a leak in another . They sent me back out onto the road with defective tires and when confronted about the problem simply sent a company to repair them correctly after I luckily discovered the flat tires and leaking tires 300 miles later. How dangerous, and they indicated they always use old valve stems. No apology, no refund for poor service. Wish I had read the reviews here before trusting them!

Why would anybody purchase tires at an RV dealership.

But your tires at a REAL tire store.

Trusted camping world, and got shafted

bought a 06 national rv for 55,000 on Thursday, june 8 ,drove 6 hours to pick it up in Idaho falls salesman, said his team was working on thr coach and putting 8000 dollars into getting it into perfect shape,so when I got there it would be in perftect shape ,a 120 point inspection, sounded pretty good, especially coming from camping world, aplace you could shop and feel like you were shopping at saks, I use to think, but now I'm disappointed, my fiancé have been cleaning foe 12 hours and it still has dirt and a smell, I looked under the engine to see the oil filter the same dirty rusty shape as rest of engine, sure sign no recent oil change, things I would have looked for if id bought from a private party ,not a trusted dealer, so pulled dipstick black as crude, wouldn't of drove the two hundred miles home , like that, does that affect my 2,999 warranty,,,first when we got to cw ,at 2 in the afternoon and several hours in waiting room, tons of paperwork, didn't leave much time for my own, inspection, finally, got the tour of motorcoah, first thing was big hole where tv use to be, now laying, on the bed, was told they were afraid it might fall out while driving, 16 inch tv, 28 inch hole, huh,the matress was stained and filthy, actually left it with old trade in,and transferred old into new coach, ,continued with walk thru, couldn't get generator to start, after seferal buttons switches started, now that I'm home it wont start, all electrical has shut down, I would take it back with buyers remorse if I could close slideouts, climbed up on roof today, front ac unit has no shroud,i just don't see where the 8000 bucks went, is being a salesman like that, something I would do, not if I wanted to sleep at night,

OMG , $55,000 for an 06 national. They are probably still doing high 5's over that deal.

$55k????

NOT even if it was a diesel.

Camping World in Strafford, Missouri - David made the save!

3.9
Details
We stopped by camping world in Stafford, MO to shop-around for an RV. Being new to RV's we were not sure of what we wanted. A bald headed salesman (sic) took us out, showed us where the class C's were at and disappeared, boy did we have questions! After an hour or so David, another or should I say a REAL salesman came up and answered questions, showed us different RV's and was a great help. We didn't buy as we had a lot of thinking to do, but when we do buy, David is getting the sale from us. He did get a sale from our friends that were there with us!

You have been warned.

STAY AWAY FROM CAMPING WORLD.

David May be just great, but wait until the service dept ruins your faith in people.
