Once you take it off the lot you are stuck with it. You will need to pay for it.

If you can't read why would you even buy a camper on your own. You are stuck with the used camper.

You are confused. The camper is yours.

You owe the finance company. When you stop paying they will repo it.

They will sell it for 1000 and you will still owe them the rest. You need to get help from your social worker to get this straightened out or you will have problems for years to come.

Camping World - Not happy with the way I was treated

I am very upset with camping world I went to buy a 2017 Puma I called before hand and was told they had them. I was not told that I should put a down payment on it and when I got there they were gone so the salesman said. I was very disappointed. He showed me a 2018 but couldn't come to an agreement on it he then showed me a coleman and I eventually bought it. but a couple of weeks later the very puma I went to buy was on their website. I called and was told that the sale didn't go thru. (how convenient) I like the coleman but I liked the puma better but now mine is a used camper and he said it would cost me 4000 to 5000 to trade!! I feel like I was lied to and took advantage of and when I said that to the manager I was told that I had buyers remorse. VERY VERY rude. This was not the first camper I have bought over the past 20 years Just the first new one. This experience just leaves a bad taste in my mouth and IT IS NOT BUYERS REMORSE !!!!!!

Camping World in Greenwood, Indiana - They sold us a rotting camper.

1.0
Details
We recently purchased a used 2011 coachmen pop up from Camping World in Greenwood. While we were looking at it, we noticed that one of the compartments was locked and there was not a battery installed. We were unable to look in the compartment and try the lights, but being a reputable camper dealer, we assumed that the basic functions of the camper would be in working order. Between when we made our deposit and when we came to pick up the camper, it had rained. We were met with extreme resistance at our request to open the camper up and check for water. We noticed that they had not properly sealed up the camper in the parking lot after we looked at it and we were worried about moisture. After half an hour, they finally agreed to let us see inside. We gave it a quick glance and brought it home. After we got it home, my husband started to work on it. He installed a battery only to have it arc and blow a fuse. The wires were chewed through. He also noticed that the initially locked compartment has a rotting floor starting in the main storage compartment going back into the living space. The floor is rotten and needs to be replaced. The pop up is dangerous and unusable. Our youngest child, and primary reason we purchased the pop up, is a medically complex child with chronic lung disease among serious diagnosis. A simple cold can admit her to the hospital. I can't image what a reaction to a rotting, possible mold situation would do to her. My husband has reached out to sales person Dannie K, and his manager, Jeff M, several times over the past two days. Neither has returned a single phone call. They were dishonest and sold us a possibly life threatening product. We wanted to give them a chance to make this situation right before we pursued other options but they don't seem interested in speaking to us.

Resolved: Camping World in Dothan, Alabama - Damage to the bed that over the drivers seat

3.0
Details

Update by user Jul 21, 2017

fixed everything

Original review posted by user Jun 27, 2017

I took my RV to the Dothan, Al Camping World to have my front windshield fixed because of a leak. I just went out to my RV and lowered the bed to check and see if water ever got to that area and saw where Camping World damaged the the bed lowering mechanism and the screen around the bed. They also did not place the wires for the front window shade back so they would not be seen. I am about 60 miles away from them so this is going to mean a added expense and having my RV back in the shop again for weeks.

Camping World - Customer Service Will Not Answer The Phone

I needed to find out the status of an order I placed. Thinking it would have shipped and on its way, but no way to confirm that. I will be leaving the campground I'm currently in on Friday June 30, 2017 and if it is not on the way, it will not make it to me before I leave. After setting on the phone for 30 minutes each, on three different occasions during the day, I never did talk to anyone. Frustrated, I sent them an e-mail telling them to cancel the order. Have yet to hear back from that. I will still purchase in store, however, I will never again order on line. It's just not worth the trouble. Order Number: 1187392 Web Ref# : 18931911 RJ Jones

Camping World - CTF 325RL Coleman Fifth

We are having a major problem with our 2012 CTF 325RL Coleman Fifth wheel that we bought new. We took it to a local repair shop which explained something I had no idea about. It's called a Friday or Saturday build. If workers do not meet the Thursday quota they need to come in Friday or Saturday, without pay, to get the rest of the RV's assembled. So, do you think they are worried about quality control? No, they are worried about getting their weekend started and slap the units together so they can get off of work. Immediately after purchase we had to take it in because the bedroom slide would not work correctly. They had to take the whole slide out to repair it. Now we are dealing with the whole back wall of the fifth wheel moving like a pendulum and cracking the side walls. We have been dealing with Keystone (who acquired Coleman through Thor) they say , as a good faith gesture, will pay for 1 1/2 hours of service to attached the back wall, but will not fix the damage done by the swinging back wall. We are now dealing with our insurance company who looked at it today and said it looks like the whole back wall was attached by 3-4 sheet metal screws. We bought this before retiring as well and now that we are retired hoped to use it frequently. We have lost a month of use already and it has not even been fixed yet. Think we got a Friday or Saturday build!

I had an 1975 Holliday Rambler travel trailer, that was given to me, by A coworker, so I wouldn't be homeless after a bad divorce in 2000. That thing was almost indestructible. It went thru several Florida hurricanes, but as far as the Friday build issue, that also applies to cars too, so be careful if you buy a Ford or Chevy product, that was built on a Friday or a Monday.

Camping World - Service/parts

2.9
Details
Camping world of Hanover PA has the worst Service Department I have ever seen. They never answer their phone and never call back. I left numerous messages with them and they NEVER called me back. After 2 days of leaving messages I had to drive over an hour to find out if a part came in so they could install it on my car. I talked to the manager/owner and he does not care. My business with them is done and will gladly pay extra $ to go where my business is welcomed !!!! If this is how Camping world works at their other facilities I will drop out of the Good Sam's club in a second.

Bought a 2017 Heartland Pioneer from Camping World in July of 2016 2 weeks later in August of 2016 I went back to the dealership showed the service manager Butch some photos of my camper that I thought things were wrong with one of them being that the wheels were kind of bowed out he looked at the pics and said oh no they'll do that its the way they are so as the year went on other things started to break so I called them they said oh we're about a hundred people deep we won't be able to get to you but we'll put your name on the waiting list and will call you lo and behold no one ever called in February of 2017 I called again got the same exact story so in May of 2017 my brake light on my coach kept coming on so I took it back had to argue with him about all the warranty issues had a leak in the windowsill when we were leaving after picking it up only after the warranty was corrected because we called Heartland RV the guy that brought us our information Pat told us that our axle was bad on our camper due to the blowout we had after we bought the trailer so I told him I would like to speak to Butch so when Butch come out he said oh yeah I do remember you talking to me about that I told you the axle was bad then you need to bring it in om gee what a liar he never said that I would not have drove a 2017 brand new camper around with a broken axle I would never recommend anyone buy anything from Camping World nor would I ever recommend anybody buy a Heartland RV....
