Camping World in Coucil Bluffs is the worst!

I wouldn't buy a flashlight from that place! Service Dept. sucks! They can't keep help, & they lie about fixing stuff! My camper got broke into & over $600 worth of stuff stolen, they gave me a gift card for a $100 !!! Screw that place!!!! Just call & ask for a manager, you won't get one, & they won't call you back!!!!

Camping World in Pooler, Georgia - Service department provides poor service

3 months ago we bought a preowned motor coach from the Pooler, Ga, location. Understanding that we were buying it "as is" we were assured the unit had been checked out and all systems working. After getting it home we discovered the leveling jacks would not retract. When we returned the unit we were told the jack was bent and the manager (Antwan Sumter) had said the store would not fix it unless I paid for it. Several messages left for Sumter went unanswered as were a number of calls to the service department. The unit was finally repaired using the coverage I had purchased when buying the unit and CW agreed to pay the deductible. While it was being repaired I also asked that a window shade also be repaired. When I picked the unit up I was told that the repairman had broken the shade taking it down and that a replacement had been ordered. A month later I cannot find out anything about the shade.

Camping World in Meridian, Idaho - Horrible experiences with warranty service

We boight a 2017 winnebego travato which we love. We had some warranty issues. They called us three different times for an appointment then when we took our rig there told us the parts weren't in. It has been three months now without the work being done.

Camping World - Service Tech Tim Rozier over and beyond

We took our 2014 Blue Ridge fifth wheel camper into the Fayetteville Camping World to trade in on a new Montana 3361 RL. during the evaluation inspection water damage was discovered on our Blue Ridge. Tim stepped in and and advised that do to the fact that the damage was caused by tree limbs falling on our camper during a wind storm that our insurance company should be contacted. We filed a claim after Tim provided many pictures in support of the damage. Had Tim not been willing to provide the pictures I am sure our claim would not have been approved. Customer service is critical to me, and Tim is the person I will look to in the future. With Many Thanks Richard Osborne

DO NOT BUY HERE. The sales staff is pushy and rushed. They pay no attention to your needs or any details. The service dept is THE WORST. They will say ANYTHING to get off the phone with you. The service dept manager has never worked on an RV. He is incapable of answering questions because he has no mechanical training. None. He is rude and condescending. If I could do it again, I would Shop ANYWHERE other than Camping World Kansas City

Purchased a hitch on sale estimate with tax, parts and installation was $423 out the door when the job was finished which was a nightmare in itself, the bill came to $510. Not only did they charge me for installation but they charge me to take the mounting brackets off from my old hitch which consists of 8 volts. They scratched the tailgate of my truck and offered to fix it but with the lousy service I had on the hitch I'm afraid they'll make a mess of that too. This company is very dishonest and has very poor customer service save yourself some money and time stay away from campers world.

Was looking for a generator. They had a Honda for$1249.99 or member price of $1049.99. Can be purchased for $1049.99 every where. Not a deal. Then another time tried to purchase a heat only thermostat. $38.00 member price, $59.00 non member price. Purchased the exact thermostat on Amazon for $12.51 free shipping. Quite a markup. Done with camping world. Buyer beware!!!

Where to start: the finance team was a pleasure to deal with but, Shannon my sales person was irresponsible and didnt do the job correctly, didn't bother to get my wife drivers license from her on the Saturday when we were there, or measure the hitch height or make sure the wiring was there for the brake controller which it wasnt. When we came back to pick it up on a Tuesday she told us that and I quote "no license no rv" in a rude manner, very unprofessional. After a lot of yelling by me in every direction, the finance manager came out and said he would fix the problem which he did but, she stood there like nothing was wrong. After that she was supposed to get my van in to get a trailer brake controller put on and I had to keep asking when they were going to install it. She stood there with a look like I don't care until the finance manager told her to go get it done. Once they got my van into the shop they discovered that there was no wiring from my 7 pin connector for a brake controller so they couldnt install it that day. This was the day before I was going on vacation so I had to take the trailer home which is a 32ft home with no trailer brakes. I went and talked to the finance department about the brake controller and all the Shannon my sales lady kept saying was that it cost $500 dollars and I had already signed my paperwork paying $200. This whole process was supposed to take only an hour I got there at 430 didn't leave till 720 pm on Tuesday. They never check my vehicle to make sure it was properly equipped the sales manager covered the remaining cost of the controller. My wife had to go back on wed to get the brake controller installed then they still wired my brake controller wrong. They wired it to the fuse box against manufacturers instructions found in manual. They didnt want to run a wire to my battery which set a check engine light off, by now I was so upset I just told my wife to leave and I would fix it when I got home. I wired it to the battery and guess what no check engine light. Today I was trying to get the MSRP sticker for my bank to refinance the RV. Nobody is very quick at returning calls. I will never refer anyone to camping world in grain valley.

Don't trust Camping World

The last 2 experiences with Camping World in Wood Village were negative. Our first experience was a nightmare & worse than our recent purchase. The most recent purchase was a "new" 2016 Forest River. It was purchased to be lived in and once set up would be difficult to bring in for service. It was supposed to be inspected to make sure everything was working. Fridge didn't work and still doesn't work. Calls to Camping World were unanswered. We contacted a mobile service that does warranty work. This had nothing to do with Camping World. The complete inspection was done & results were it needed a new Fridge, roof seals had never been resealed, windows were too tight. If Camping World inspected like written in contract they would have known this. They should have taken care of the roof long before it was sold. I will never deal with Camping World again.

Called 800-626-3636 and was put on hold forever. Their message is "your call is very important to us an agent will be with you momentarily" After about 12 minutes + someone answered. I tried more than once with the same result. Not acceptable service so I bid Camping World "Good Bye" Whats with the 100 words requirement. Just a waste of time.Whats with the 100 words requirement.
