My wife and i were looking at a new travel trailer for 15900. The sales person had finace manager work payments for 10 years. 242 a month was the estimate. After 10 years that would be 29000 dollars. We didnt buy. We will never buy from camping world. They are drven by money. Or they dont know how to add

We decided to purchase newer used motorhome and one year later still no resolution. It's the typical cat and mouse chase of resolving issues camping world broke our awnings on day of pick and never resolved repairs, Someone had been urinting in sink from the store and we found that after it stunk up whole bus upon first drive from the heating up. We had to open all windows and drain gray tank and sit til smell had gone away Steering was never fixed as they claimed and exhaust brake never worked and never repaired. That issue is serious matter due to safety of stopping Their used units get no attention to safety and camping world should by far is worst place you could deal with especially with big name they have and how they have grown We had called several times and never phone call return Called corporate and same song and dance Huh !! No one called you, let me speak to higher ups and resolve your problems and it's Always same answer and no resolution. We even offered to purchase brand new unit for all the mental distress and they still would not take care of any issue because they would not return original purchase price for upgrade Eventually was given email of the supposed CEO profit of company to complain and no reply either I do believe this company was set up to ignore us and collect as much as they can without any resolution They will cheat you on interest rates, warranty lies and mislead the public on anything they can to land a sale If you can purchase more stores, a stadium, a NASCAR official truck series then the case leads to serious theft of American working folks who built this company trying to enjoy our freedoms America made this company and America deserves a proper establishment that takes care of customers

CAMPING WORLD OF INDIANA 2017 THOR IN THE SHOP AGAIN

MB Issues -The following issues need to be addressed on the NEW 2017 - 1.Took the MB into the MB dealer ship immediately upon my arrival here in Phoenix for the following issues a.Airbag light had been on since we drove out of CW parking lot in Richmond i.Noone at CW noticed the big red light in the dash ii.MB said Thor unhooked the wiring when they redid the seats b.Drivers side electric door lock does not work i.Had to remove ALL our gear each night because we could not lock it. Tried everything to fix it. NO luck c.Loose wiring harness in pass door d.Loose grille cover in front 2.NOTE The Phoenix MB dealership entered the VIN number into their system as part of the service and then informed me that this MB is NOT a 2017 model. It is in fact a 2016 and the warranty started on 2/28/17, not the date of my purchase of 4/8/17. I bought a NEW 2017 model not a 2016. This is totally unacceptable!!!! THOR Issues- The following issues need to be addressed by CW on the NEW 2017- I have a call into CW of Mesa (Phoenix) to take it in once I get it out of the MB shop. The CW service rep said they are backed up a minimum of 2 weeks. So were not able to use it until it goes in the shop. 1. The following are the Coach issues we encountered while on our trip home- (never used the coach on our trip home) a.Cannot use the bathroom while traveling unless you stop and pull over, start the gen and slide the back slide out. The slide frame is in the way of the bathroom door. Only opens enough for a small kid to get in. (see photos on separate email) b.Toilet lid hits toilet paper holder. Cannot use it. ( see photos on separate emal) c.Wiring harness hanging down in back d.LOW tires, all tires were 64-65 lbs, tires say 80. ( I noticed them and asked your CW rep to have them checked and filled) e.NO testing of any coach systems, only done as we stood in the parking lot and asked questions f.Gen had never been started, had a tough time getting it to go. Air in the lines. g.TERRIBLE door squeak h.No ladder for upper berth access i.MB seats do not rotate j.Bottom drawer in closet is broke free from floor k.Coach had never been cleaned, inside or out!!! l.Coach must have been used at a RV show because the under sink area was full of literature and piles of raffle ticket books, trash, junk, tools, water filters, etc. NO one form CW had even looked under the sink much less cleaned m.Screen door has 5 holes in it. n.Lock on coach door cannot be adjusted because the screws are spun out.. MY 2017 THOR FOUR WINDS SIESTA 24SS HAS BEEN IN THE CAMPING WORLD SHOP 4 TIMES SINCE LATE APRIL AND GOING BACK AGAIN. ALSO HAVE HAD IT INTO MERCEDES B 3 TIMES FOR SERVICE. $96K investment!!!

What a joke Camping World Gulf Breeze Fls

Don't waste your time or money - the staff is inexperienced and will tell u anything. I bought a new 2015 Cedar creek 5th wheel / took it in for some upgrades in 2016 and when I got it back they hit the side and unit had several dents all around . The second time I took it back in april of 2017 for them to repair their damage and they've had it 8 months of the year and half I've owned it . Their service manager (Jamie) is totally ineffective, I've had to order parts myself since they've now dropped their affordable listion with Cedar Creek- unknown to me ! Don't waste your time or money on this bunch of amateurs !! Totally unhappy and considering a lawsuit .

Don't waste your time with the lawsuit, Camping World (all location) suck at service, but they can afford BIG lawyers and you'll just spend a bunch of money for nothing.

Just do your part to tell EVERYONE that you ever meet to stay away from camping worlds.

Camping World in Rossford, Ohio - Deceptive customer service

We have had our Jayco Greyhawk in to the Rossford Ohio Camping World for replacement of the inverter for over 3 weeks. It is under the J Plus Platinim warranty. At first service lost the J Plus phone number & policy. Now they say they cannot get through to J Plus. We have contacted J Plus Twice ourselves & were able to talk with their representative within minutes. We feel we are being deceived by Camping World service staff & the end of our Camping season is quickly approaching

Let me start with finance charge, I was told i was approved for 6%, when I got the contract it was 6.74% well in 2 days the bank sent me a letter that there was a mistake in the finance dept that the finance rate was 6.24% , ok the next was the finance manager went through items we could purchase we purchased an extended warranty with a 50$ deductable, when we got the contract it was a 100$ deductable, then we were charged 2995.00$ for paint protection which we did not agree to and Camping world refused to reverse, Fleetwood the maker of the RV said paint protection was unnessary it was a waste of money ,Then we spoke to the general manager he said he would reverse the charge for the paint protection that was on a monday, well three days went by never heard from him, called to speak to him he was off , tried to speak to the finance manager , he was on vacation. also there were several items that had to be fixed on the Rv the finance manager said he was going to make a we owe that never happened. I will never buy from Camping world and would never recommend. they will rip you off.

Camping World - Worst customer service experience ever

They've had our trailer for a month and the only thing we needed was the kitchen faucet replaced because of a leak. My dad kept calling and leaving messages but only got one call returned and it was an excuse for the delay. We decided to go pick up the trailer today, whether it was done or not. We get there and they say the faucet will be there in three more days. My dad tells them he wants the trailer now and that he'll buy a faucet from Lowes and put it in himself. Then they tell him that our awning was damaged when they were moving our trailer around. The awning was removed and supposedly a new one ordered. They never called to tell us about the damage!! They were going to replace it and not tell us. This is a lying, underhanded company with the worst customer service. It's unbelievable! A faucet replacement taking over a month and then damage on top of that! Be warned!

Why would you take it to have the faucet changed?

It would take longer to take the RV to camping world then it would to replace the faucet.

Next , don't take it to them for ANYTHING, THEY will ALWAYS disappoint you. THEY totally suck at service.

It was a warranty repair among a few others. Jayco said it was the only place nearby that could do it. Why should we pay for replacement parts and then have to fix it ourselves when the trailer isn’t even a year old?

Camping World - Product in Sales Flyer not in the store

I drove 80 miles east to the Springfield, MO. Camping World the day after receiving a sales flyer showing a King Tailgater antenna with free receiver that I wanted for my 5th wheel. This was Aug. 8th. I was told that they didn't get the receiver's for the sale but they should be in on Friday with the truck, so I had them put the Tailgater away for me and put me down for 2 of the 211-z receivers. My plan was to use it in the Colorado Mountains while helping a friend build his cabin out in the "boonies", with a departure time of this Thursday morning (Aug. 17). Well, the truck showed up but not the receivers, after I called them to check Friday afternoon (I never once got a call from them). Anyway, they supposedly were having some shipped separately and should have them Monday or today (Tues. Aug. 15). I waited to hear from them until 4 p.m. and then I called them again. No receivers and probably won't have them until Thursday or Friday, which does me no good since I'll be on the road heading the other way. I find it really hard to believe that a company would have a big sale like that without supplying the stores with the products advertised. Amazing. I told them to put the Tailgater back on the shelf & I won't be going back to that store any time soon (or later).

Most "flyer specials" are negotiated months in advance and often the manufacturer isn't able to supply the units as agreed. The retailer always takes the blame.
