Keystone Dealership--CAMPING WORLD

After a week of our trailer sitting at Camping World due to the slide out jumping (it's only a year old). We FINALLY got an answer back from them--their answer--"We have no idea what's wrong with it" What kind of service center is that?! In addition it's a $145/hour diagnosis fee and we haven't been able to get an answer out of them until today and the trailer has literally been there for a full week! So much for making an appointment. That was a week ago. Supposed to leave on a trip in less than a week and the trailer's still broken. They shouldn't have wasted our time bringing it there and then never telling us anything once we dropped it off--

I read the reviews and thought "it couldn't possibly be that bad". I was wrong. It is. We sold our home and bought our first RV (2017 Challenger) in April and have been transported into a nightmare where customer service does not exist and being ignorant is the norm....

Camping World in Fountain, Colorado - Reference wrong MSRP and invoice values

1.0
Details
Not sure how Camping world references the MSRP of trailers as appears they aren't regulated by the government (like cars). Check out this site for real MSRP: http://www.seedealercost.com/products/category-models/index/id/342/productCategorySlug/recv Appears all their MSRP values are higher than shown. Then they have the nerve to indicate they take more off than other dealers! Certainly wouldn't trade anything in with these guys they are clearly thieves as they will offer you 1/2 you can get if sold privately. When challenged on this wouldn't indicate where they received their numbers. This happened 9/4. I may be trailer trash but I'm not dumb. Besides their CEO is a socialist who wants the money of a capitalist. Note the percent of bad reviews. Boycott these thieves as they manipulate numbers and some folks don't realize it. Literally they offered me a trailer for $32k that they had listed for $22k and would pay off my $15k trailer. Buyer beware.

Camping World Post Sales 'Service' Experience

1.9
Details
These people cannot seem to grasp the concept that eventually customers might want to buy ANOTHER trailer, so they seem to be intent to burn bridges and act like good service shouldn't matter. We made the mistake of thinking Camping World did business the way Marcus Lemonis appears to value customers (ie: positively and respectfully). We were wrong. At least, that's one customer's experience with the Fresno, CA Camping World. And yes, they have been given countless opportunities to make things right before I posted this - including 2 emails directly to Mr. Lemonis and his management team, which they flatly ignored. Those escalations only took place after the local service management failed to even respond or address their initial mistakes, which could have been forgiven if they'd simply DONE something to address them. We scheduled service an entire MONTH in advance and then they sat on the unit without ordering all the parts or even starting the primary repairs for 2 full weeks. When we asked why, they CHOSE to be evasive and dismissive of our concerns. Disgusted. Specifically, we called them to make appt on 7/3/17 for service, some of it for 'warranty' items which we explicitly pointed out upon initial receipt of a brand new unit, but which they failed to correct. Brought in for service 8/4/17 and told 'at least a couple of weeks'. Two weeks later, they said they had not even ORDERED all the parts. As of 9/4/17, still have no firm ETA, and they have been evasive and dismissive when asked why they didn't order parts or start all services after initial intake. So looking like no less than 5-6 weeks here, 9-10 if you add the month's advance booking. So we are without a trailer for essentially the entire first summer after buying it. But we sure aren't without the payments or insurance expenses to own something we cannot make use of. BTW: note this has NOTHING to do with the political gaffe Marcus Lemonis made recently, implying that he doesn't want the business of Trump voters. Politics aside, this company simply has very poor customer service - they are like the Comcast of RVs IMHO. I do realize that this may be emblematic of this industry as a whole. This is our first trailer and if this is the norm for 'good service' in this industry, then we're going to have to do some adjusting because we've never experienced such poor service, or an outright inability for people to clearly communicate ETAs and manage expectations in any other industry. Absolutely appalling.

Camping World - Discrimination

1.0
Details
Horrible!! Do not waste your money or your time!!! They break and mess things up on new campers so that when it is sold the customer will have to bring back for repairs! This is management telling the employees to do this and if not they get in trouble and told they will be written up for job abandonment!!! Also discrimination is a big thing here, the company itself along with it's GM George have been sued recently for using certain terms against a past employee who was a black man so I'm sure you all can figure out what was said, George is also known for making fun of customers after they leave such as Hispanics or African Americans by saying certain comments or remarks to other employees. This branch needs to have a clean up on there higher up employees or needs to be shut down. All of this information is from an inside person, believe what u want and do what u need but this is not ok and needs to be known!!

Camping World - The WORST Corporate Customer Service Ever!

I cannot believe that Camping World is still in business what with the worst Corporate Customer Service I've ever seen. We had sold our RV on consignment with a local Camping World. The unit was sold and delivered to the new customer on June 30th. The dealership told me that the check was being issued by their Corporate office and not locally. When I hadn't received it by the the end of July, I began making my calls to their corporate headquarters. If you are considering calling them, please don't waste your time or energy. They are totally inefficient, don't return calls, and honestly, don't give a *** about their customers. I worked for Ford Motor Company my entire life, and if a customer reached out to Corporate for any reason, that issue became a priority and was resolved ASAP. Shame on Camping World for not even coming close to that benchmark!

Camping World - Will Never Shop There

Given what these reviews below reveal, I will never spend a dime at Camping World. Additinoally, the CEO is apparently very prejudice and ultimately an unwise business man. What kind of CEO tells the world if you don't share his political views he doesn't want your business? So you don't like Trump and his supporters? Fine. Nobody cares. This is Camping World for crying out loud. If he wants to get into professional politics, more power to him - that's what he should do. Alienating much of your customer base is not only a very unwise decision, but also plain idiotic.
