I ordered from Camping World and before I even got delivery the item went on sale. They absolutely refused to credit my credit card! Instead their only solution was a store credit, which if returned could be exchanged for a check? Are you kidding me? FYI I still haven't seen the voucher for the credit! Criminals!!!! I have NO idea how these people stay in business! I will certainly not purchase anything there again. Places like this should be boycotted by all! {{Redacted}}

9/22/17 Update - it is a shame that consumers have to resort to posting negative reviews in multiple social media outlets in order to get resolution to their issue. I would like to acknowledge that after this and other reviews were posted, I did receive a call to resolve the financing issue and compensation for the other issues. While still frustrating that we had to deal with this at all, Camping World has taken some action as a result of these posts.

We purchased a Stryker Toy Hauler at this location - nearly 30 days ago - the bank has no record of our purchase so we have no idea how to make our payments and where to send them - I have left two messages for the finance manager at the Idaho Falls location and she has not returned my call. Additionally, the generator was originally tested in October of 2016 - the gas was never changed and the generator was obviously not tested when we purchased it on August 30th - the gas is gummed up and discolored and the generator does not work. We will have to drive 120+ miles round trip to take the toy hauler back to have the generator fixed. If it had been tested when we purchased it, this would have been resolved then. The inside of the camper was not cleaned - there was sawdust in the cabinets, there were multiple boot prints on the cabinet interiors that probably occurred during the assembly and were never cleaned. We have had to fix the alignment of several of the cabinet doors because they didn't open and close properly. Finally, we were told by our sales person that we should allow at least 4 hours to get oriented to our new toy hauler - the person who did our orientation spent about 20 minutes with us - he didn't turn anything on and seemed to be in a hurry to get us out of there. Overall, this has not been a good post purchase process for us. So disappointing.

Camping World - Terrible service

My husband and I are traveling throughout the USA 48 states in our Hurricane Thor. We have tried to schedule twice a oil change for our RV in South Dakota, Rapid City and they blew us away they told us to try a local RV service, so we went somewhere else where they provided us excellent service. As we journey down south to North Carolina with more miles on our RV we need a second oil change and maintenance so we decided to give Camping World another try. We call camping World and again they blow us away...she told me to contact some one in town. I told my husband Wow!!!! "That sucks, I guess Camping World don't want our business" Camping World advertises and claims excellent service and friendly service. It's hard to believe that. We felt you should know our dissatisfaction with Camping World. My email is Teresa.Carreto@yahoo.com u hope for further travelers like us they don't experience the lack of interest your employees have for us travelers. Some of us rely on excellent service especially because we're far away from home. We have traveled from California and we have never been treated so disrespectful like this. They get you in there to buy an RV what's are nice but you have nothing but problems afterwards the service department is the worst in the world you can't get nothing done we bought our camper there in May and we met out four times in it and had several problems wrong with it for a 2018 Sierra and they still have it and they still haven't got it fixed in this is the end of September they blame the manufacturer to manufacture blames them and it is a total mess I would never buy at Camping World in Wentzville or any other Camping World because it seems to this is Nationwide something has to be done about this unhappy customers for a big corporation like this I understand Warren Buffett has a lot of money into this I think he needs to be contacted on this to see where his money is actually going I see on other sites that there is a wanting to get a class action suit against Camping World Nationwide something has to be done this is this is totally stupid the way they operate

CAMPING WORLD CEO TRIED TO RUIN ME

South Florida RV Dealer Files lawsuit against Camping World for Fraud Civil Conspiracy, Theft of Trade secrets among other things. There is a thing called fair competition and I was prepared for that but what happen here was way below the belt.. It was personal all because i had no interest in selling my company to Camping World or its CEO. He went as far as to have me trespassed from a local horse show and stop me personally for competing in the horse show event. Non of that had anything to do with selling RVs it was just intentionally to hurt me and destroy my business.

Called them four times ,and asked if they would sell a Dometic toliet for the price that was on the Camping World web. site.I also asked if I had to buy anything more or get a membership to get the web. price,and was told on the phone no,just bring the web. page in and they would meet the price.When I drove there they said that I would have to buy a membership to get the online price!The web.site said they ship for free and did not say anything about any membership,this will be the last time I will ever go into any Camping World store.

They need to make some changes in middle in management before they can move on.I managed a Com. under achieving of 750 k and took it 9.2mil. In just several years,so I know this can happen if you make changes in attitudes.

Camping World - New travel trailer 3 months later still no keys

I purchased a new travel trailer from camping world in Lowell Arkansas on7-24-17 after the haggling ( they insisted on financing through them ) I aquired my own financing. After the show out and I had left I realized they never handed me any keys..I had traveled from out of state to purchase...after a call to the dealer the next day they said they would put them in the mail...a week went buy...I called again....they said the keys had been lost...and would be ordered several weeks go by I make another call take pictures of the lock codes and e mail them to the service dept,sales person (Brian collar)and the business manager (Steve meek) and they Sid keys would be here shortly...still no keys when they finally mailed keys it was snail mail and not overnight...but guess what wrong keys...after researching I found the key numbers and the place to purchase them. A whopping $2.99 per key...talked to the sales person( Brian collar) a few days later the business manager (Steve meek) give them the part numbers and where to get them.....I purchased the TT on 7-24-17 and now it's 9-20-17..still no keys....camping world couldn't hit thier *** with both hands.....worst place ever stay clear of camping world....buy from a dealer that cares!

Camping World - I ordered a sleep number bed, didn't get it

They sent 2 boxes which both contained identical PARTS of the bed. When I tried to get them to send the correct item, they refused until they got the wrong items that they had sent back. The customer service manager said that was their "process". Apparently sending the wrong item is also their "process". It has been 11 days since they received their screw up back and they have yet to credit my card. I have had to file a complaint with the credit card company.
