I have been trying to have 4 simple repairs for 11 weeks with no sucess. They destroyed my satellite system and said it WAS broken when they received the coach. THEY LIED. Worst experience of my life. Future buyers take it from someone who has been wronged.......buy elsewhere....

Camping World Extended Warranty

We bought our RV on a Wednesday and drove it right to Camping World to get the transferable extended warranty changed to our name and extended. They said that they would have to charge us two hours labor to inspect it to be sure all was well. I said, it's still under warranty if there were something wrong it shouldn't cost me anything to fix it. They suggested I leave it with them, we did not. Since then we have been waiting two weeks just to get a quote for the extended warranty price. We have left six messages and no replies. Lousy service, I think someone somewhere is trying to guide us away from this purchase. Just think what it would be like if they had to pay for something.

order parts and ask if they could mail them to me because I live 2 hours away and they didnt know well took 3 weeks for them to come in and I called camping world in Davenport IA to see if they had come in and they had to look well it took a day for them to find them and I ask again if they could of mailed them they told me no and I offer to pay postage they said no they dont ship. Im a good Sams member and they parts were sliding door hangers two package very small I wont be back the package cost 23.25 and it took me 15.00 in gas to go pick them so I dont know if I will renew my membership.We bought our 5th wheel there 4 yrs ago when it was just a RV place. I will find some other place closer to home.

Camping World - Unable to complete simple job.
Brought my Class B camper van in, showed them where the grey-water tank was leaking. Left five hours later-- no wifi, by the way, in this place!-- with the SAME LEAK. Came back three days later, explained that they hadn't fixed the problem. Again, 4-5 hours of wait time in the wifi-less showroom, and we left with the SAME LEAK. Altogether, we paid almost $500 and wasted two days on this place. Would I go there again? Do I look like an absolute idiot? Should not have brought it back the second time, thinking they could fix it. Everywhere around Concord, we heard the same thing: These guys at Camping World don't know what they're doing.

a quote on an awning. One of the items was a replacement fan blade. I was not sure whether the fan blade had a *** or a round hole. I was told if I got the wrong one I could exchange it as long as I had reasonable packaging. First the awning, I was told I needed numbers off of the awning, and was given a paper. I left with the purchases and used the certificate for partial payment. I obtained the numbers off of the awning and called back. The clerk Dan did not answer his phone and I left a message, I called back several more times No answer, He never returned the call. Called back Tuesday and Got Dan. After saying he would have to order the awning He informed me he had a generic in stock and would forward the info to service. He quoted me a price which was higher for generic fabric than the list price on Camping world web site for Dometic Fabric. I called back and canceled. Fan blade was wrong but when I tried to exchange the young lady said she could give me 79 cents for it since I paid for it with a certificate, and then buy the proper one for $9.95. I told her I wanted to exchange. I left with $0.79 and No fan blade. I called Good Sam to Cancel My membership and (Purchased 8/21/17) and was informed that their is no refund. The roadside assistance I will get $39.00 back so for One month a membership cost $125.00 I will not do business with Camping World or Good Sam again and will not recommend Either.

Camping World - They sold my consignment.

We practically gave our motorhome away to sell it and when they sold it they waited over a month to pay us. They also jewed us down the price of new tires saying our tires (6 years old) were unsafe and they would not sell it unless they were replaced. We ran into our old coach 2 months after it was sold and the old tires were still on it.

Would you say they blacked or chinesed you down on the price? Also call a tire manufacturer and they will tell you 5 years is the time to change tires in an RV due to the possible tire sidewall cracks.

I have had many RV's. Nothing worse than a tire exploding on a trip and the damage it causes.

I ordered from Camping World and before I even got delivery the item went on sale. They absolutely refused to credit my credit card! Instead their only solution was a store credit, which if returned could be exchanged for a check? Are you kidding me? FYI I still haven't seen the voucher for the credit! Criminals!!!! I have NO idea how these people stay in business! I will certainly not purchase anything there again. Places like this should be boycotted by all! {{Redacted}}

9/22/17 Update - it is a shame that consumers have to resort to posting negative reviews in multiple social media outlets in order to get resolution to their issue. I would like to acknowledge that after this and other reviews were posted, I did receive a call to resolve the financing issue and compensation for the other issues. While still frustrating that we had to deal with this at all, Camping World has taken some action as a result of these posts.

We purchased a Stryker Toy Hauler at this location - nearly 30 days ago - the bank has no record of our purchase so we have no idea how to make our payments and where to send them - I have left two messages for the finance manager at the Idaho Falls location and she has not returned my call. Additionally, the generator was originally tested in October of 2016 - the gas was never changed and the generator was obviously not tested when we purchased it on August 30th - the gas is gummed up and discolored and the generator does not work. We will have to drive 120+ miles round trip to take the toy hauler back to have the generator fixed. If it had been tested when we purchased it, this would have been resolved then. The inside of the camper was not cleaned - there was sawdust in the cabinets, there were multiple boot prints on the cabinet interiors that probably occurred during the assembly and were never cleaned. We have had to fix the alignment of several of the cabinet doors because they didn't open and close properly. Finally, we were told by our sales person that we should allow at least 4 hours to get oriented to our new toy hauler - the person who did our orientation spent about 20 minutes with us - he didn't turn anything on and seemed to be in a hurry to get us out of there. Overall, this has not been a good post purchase process for us. So disappointing.
