Camping World - *** poor customer service in the service department.

Very disorganized service department. We purchased a brand new camper from the Myrtle Beach camp world since the customer service and the service department was excellent. We did have a issue with a bend arm on the awning which the Myrtle Beach gave us a I Owe you voucher to have it replaced when we got home in Garner NC. The Garner NC located is very disorganized and unfriendly. We stop by gave the all the information to the services department and they said they would order the part and call us back when the part arrived. Three weeks gone by called the service department transfer multiple time, part never ordered. Had to stop by again to give the copy of the. Voucher since they loss the order and had to order again. Two weeks we received a call the parts was in and we need to set up appt. Once again arrived with the camper. The lost the order again. The service department in Garner NC is very disorganized with poor customer service. Not sure how they stay in business....

Camping World - Spammers - I was never a customer

This company got my email address when USPS gave it to them without my permission. Now they won’t stop SPAMMING me, despite repeated unsubscribed. I think this is illegal, but I don’t have the time or money to do anything about it, so they are flooding my mail box almost daily with ads I don’t want. Since they don’t care about my concerns with this, I can only assume that it’s a crap company that cares about nothing except profit. I will continue to leave reviews as long as I am being flooded with unwanted emails. I’m not sure why this site is requiring 100 words. Even a poor consumer experience could be explained in fewer words than that.

Camping World - Very poor customer service and issues not resolved

Bought brand new 2018 Fifth Wheel never have received 2nd chair that was supposed to be included. Took 5th wheel back for paint and interior detail told them about a gas leak that caused alarm to go off and run battery dead. They said leave it a couple of days well 3 weeks later we had a trip planned and had to go pick it up. Still no answer other then they didnt find anything. They left all lights on so battery was dead again. We will not go back never puchase from them again and throwing our Camping World card in the garbage.

Camping World in Syracuse, New York - Extremely poor customer service

On Saturday Oct 7th, we called Camping World in Syracuse to speak to a salesman. My husband told him what we are looking at and then gave him information regarding our trade. The salesman asked several times if he could call us back, we said yes. He called back and asked for more information each time. It was agreed that he would call us back on Sunday with a quote on our trade. We were driving home from our vacation on Sunday. The salesman called back about 5 times before he finally had all the information he said he needed. The a couple of hours later he called to give us the quote. The quote was way less than we were willing to even consider. So we told him that and said thank you but we are off by $9,000.00. So looks like we can't make a deal on the 5th wheel toy hauler we wanted. The salesman jumped right in and said he could work with the $9000.00. So we made an appointment to meet the salesman at Syracuse Camping World on Monday Oct 9th at 10 am. We arrived at 10 am, the salesman was out on the lot or somewhere, we waited about 15 minutes. When he arrived, he wanted to sit down and talk the deal, but we had not yet seen the 5th wheel other than online and wanted to actually look it over before proceeding. It was raining lightly out and we headed across the road to look at the unit, but surprise, the salesman didn't know what we came to look at, as he took us over to look at a travel trailer, not the fifth wheel that we had called about. ( gave him the year, make, model and stock number when we first called) We then walked around the lot looking for the unit. The salesman then discovered that it was not on the lot, that after showing it at a camping show at the Fairgrounds it had been moved to Farrell Rd. So we drove over there to look at it. Lo and behold, the slide outs were not out and there was not power, so back to the dealership we went. The salesman got a booster box and said he would meet us back at Farrell Rd. We were very frustrated and asked to speak to the manager. The manager apologized for the salesman, but then told us that there was no real wiggle room on the camper price or our trade offer other than perhaps $200.00 more. That was not enough to make the deal viable for us so we decided to leave. We asked the young lady at the front desk to call the salesman and tell him we had changed our minds and would not be coming over to look at the unit. If we had known there was no room for negotiation we would not have wasted our time. The really sad part for us is that this is the third time we have had problems here. We LOVE the Carbon, went we first were ready to buy a toy hauler, the Carbon travel trailer was our first choice, but we had some questions and the sales manager said he would call us back with the answers and he never did, so we bought elsewhere. Now again unless we go far afield, which we certainly might do, we could end up not buying the Carbon fifth wheel toy hauler that we really love. There is even more that I could go into but there is no point. I don't see a day when we will be going back to Camping World in Syracuse.

Been trying talk to someone at Little Rock camping world about get a part for 3 months off and on with responses like we will text you , call you , or email you with no response. It’s really a shame that no one respects there job enough to follow through with it. All I wanted to do is enjoy the last of my camping season with my camper that I bought from the wrong camper dealer. I will never ever buy a camper from any camping world dealer ever again. !!!!!!!!!!!!

Today, 10/19/17, My husband and I went to Campingworld because I really wanted to purchase the M33 Mallard Travel Trailer. Well, when we were there previously, the finance manager gave my husband a piece of paper with the numbers that he supposedly ran and the numbers were off. My husband decided to leave because they were closing and I was still healing from surgery. So we went back today to take pictures of the papers that were listed in the trailers to show them that their numbers were off by $2000 and that giving my husband a supposed $500 military discount only to add on $499 was really only giving him a $1 discount and that was insulting in itself. My husband went in to speak with them first about the numbers. When they kept giving him the run around like their numbers were right I walked back in to explain to them exactly what was wrong. First of all, the associate Luke walked out with who we thought was the finance guy but was actually the manager, Kevin. The manager shook my husband hand totally disregarded me. My husband had to introduce me in order for him to acknowledge me. Then it only got worse. He told my husband that he didn't care what the paper said in the camper that the amount that they set to sell it was the amount they chose. See I intervened because we were standing in the middle of the showroom with people watching and he was talking as loud as he could. I stopped him and asked him to lower his voice and talk to us and not everyone in the showroom. Why are we standing in the middle of the showroom talking about money??? Then I proceed to tell him that he incorrectly priced the trailer for 42,459 as the beginning price instead of the $40,959 which was listed in the trailer. So he said that it is MSRP, that is what the manufacturer thinks that it is worth. I asked him if they overprice all of their travel trailers because I have never known anyone to sell something for OVER the MSRP price, especially when you are using that as a starting point in a 25% off sale. Also if, they did not go by it then why would they advertise the $40,959 price inside the trailers? He proceeded to be disrespectful to me and say that he does not care what the price said in the camper. Like I told him, my husband only came back because he knew that I loved the M33 so he wanted to work with them to get it. We just wanted to be treated right and fair. We were not asking for a handout, just for him to look at the numbers and if he would have he would have seen that we had the correct down payment for what was advertised. We will NEVER shop at Campingworld again and I will make sure to spread the word throughout the military community!

Camping world warranty problems

First I bought a 2017 Heritage GLENN first camping trip water heater spark inginter failed. I took camper in for repair.after making an appointment. Camper was there 9 days no work done. Then I took part back for warranty they told me I need to get warranty from Heritage glenn?? I did not by the camper from (Heritage Glenn)? After about an Hr I did get warranty part? The other items that was wrong I repaired my self. (Ex fan running backwards slide rubbing floor. Now it is back at Camping world with water leak under camper after making appointment I was told repair will be over a week? Not sure making appointments two weeks in advance helps? I was told when I purchased camper winter anti-freez was first time was free. When I left camper on Oct. I was told they never winterize first year. Look for this in purchase paper work have not found my BAD taking sales man word. I will let you know about repair of water leak first year WARRANTY? Hope I am wrong but have been Hearing camping world bills customers for Factory Warranty. Hope they do not do this to me.

I've bought a brand new travel trailer from camping world. Couple weeks later I called them with a few problems like leaking drain, control panel didn't work e t c. They told me that I'll have to wait for at least 3 month , so they can get factory's approval. That's BS. Brand new trailer, that you guys sold. Fix it!!!! I asked them if I can drop it of on my way back from vacation, so they can fix it and call me back, when it's ready. They told me, that I have to bring it in, so they can take a look at it, and then I'll have to bring it back in 3 month and leave it for 45 days. You guys have to shot down your business, if you unable to take care of your customers. Will never use them again. Zinger is a terrible trailer with a low quality workmanship. I'm going to replace it and it won't be in a camping world for sure!!!
